Because light is actually bending .

Light bends in water . The bending has nothing to do an observer or observers .
 
Recently came across an article that we are made of star dust...literally.

The internet is the place for curiosity even if bizarrely morbid at times. I don't have any reason to doubt the hosts summary of a 62 minute "children's" cartoon, yet it would probably have given me nightmares. This video was suggested to me on the youtube page probably cause I was looking at political commentaries and reviews of cartoons that I had no idea existed.
