The Picture Thread Mark V

do people ever think men dress too young? They shouldn't wear certain t-shirts or wear their hair a certain way? Do men think women dress too young? I know my husband LUUUUVS it when I wear pig tails. :D
Some people can carry it off, some can't. Its natural on some people (the ones who have always dressed like that) and then you can tell the ones who are trying too hard.

You can dress classy and sexy without looking like a trashy @$@#$. When you turn 30 it's time to start dressing a bit differently. Who exactly gravitates to an older woman that dresses like that? Anybody worthwhile? Funny because usually when you look like you robbed a teenagers closet, those looks you are getting are not on a positive note.

I don't know what men you are talking about. But most men wouldn't want their 40 yr old wife running around like that.

Lori is a the perfect candidate for that show "What not to Wear"? They would have a field day.

what not to wear to a rock concert? what? you know, and that's not even the point. the point is that caddy, insecure, competitive women like yourself are just jumping at the chance to criticize someone. and why? why is that? you want to make me feel bad? even if i didn't like what someone else wore, i wouldn't say anything about it, because i don't like to be mean, and i figure it's none of my business anyway. people should wear whatever they want to wear, and whatever they feel comfortable in. if everyone looked like you, or that stuck up bitch from what not to wear, the world would be a very boring place. i love fashion and i love wearing funky clothes that are fun and sexy, and i dress appropriately for a particular setting or a particular function. the pics i have posted here are of a couple of outfits that i might wear to a rock concert, not to the office. and i have a sweater and jeans on in the other. i have a uniform on in the other. i was going to work. and it was appropriate.

t i wear to a rock concert (and ive been to a fair few) is black trousers (jeans preferably) black converse. black shirt or t shirt (depends) and loads of black make up""

i find everyone else is wearing t shirts with the bands name on it, but i dont (because i know who i am going to see, i dont need to be reminded)

Silly thing, they're not for reminding you, but for showing a more than casual fan of the band.

i have black on black chuck's and i like to cut and sew up concert tees into funky designs like halters and whatnot. i actually thought that might be a cool business to start up. concert tee alterations. nin just announced dates and i'm so there!

you guys know what my favorite outfit is? i have yet to wear it because i'm not quite sure what the occasion might entail. but i have a custom made cheerleading uniform. it's gorgeous. it's purple and white with gold trim and has "Jesus" across the chest. i also have matching purple and gold metallic pom-poms. i got it because when i used to post out here on sciforums back in the day. my tag line said i was a jesus cheerleader.

Ha! sounds like fun. I hate frumpy and dowdy clothes myself.

Have you ever tried Indian kurtis or colors?

You would look gorgeous. :)

I like wearing cheerleader's uniforms. Although, I usually get kicked out of the girls locker room. :)

i was having a very similar conversation with my son the other day, if you look good and you like the clothes your wearing no one has any right to tell you to "dress more approprietly" i dont and i wont start for anyone!
You cant help what you like!

shorty:

It sounds like you have some issues you need to sort through, if you feel the need to criticise how other people dress.
