The picture of you with the kid looks like the sort of photos in dossiers on serial killers. You ever use your meaty hands and big brain to kill hookers in the Midwest?
Or maybe kill gay guys at truck stops.

I agree with you about Metallica and Dave Mustaine. But instead, we got two great bands and many great albums instead of one... so things sometimes work out in an interesting way. Though I do have a bootleg around here somewhere of all of them together before the split, at the Whiskey. The sound quality is really bad, and I no longer own a cassette player. I have a particular soft spot for Iron Maiden myself. I can't explain why.

what ive always wondered is how much you have to drink to be kicked out of a metal band for drinking! haha mustaine is awesome

i like iron too, they have so many great songs/albums... i went to the dance of the dead tour... it was a lot of fun

Actually, I suspect it was more his attitude than anything else.

Speaking of Metallica. I love how Jason Newstead said that he was physically abused while in the band.

It all happened in my mind, and it is usually pretty weird and interesting in there.
Outkast will definitely be winning when their movie comes out, but then qotsa will make a record (even if they are broken up, or aren't deoending on what day it is), so it is hard to say.

I'd beat him too if he started wearing heavy black eyeliner, black nail polish and a hemp necklace. Little punk tried to carry off the Ozzy/Alice Cooper look and only succeeded in looking like a bad grown-up goth version of The Beaver.

He played better when his hair was long.

Incidentally Varda, I actually attended the Master of Puppets tour in Chicago as a young teen.
 
I saw the master of puppets tour in long beach, CA, when I was a kid too.
It is funny that a lot of high school and jr. high kids still wear that same t-shirt that I bought.

edit- varda put the blurred picture up so internet pervs wouldn't fantasize about her.

Unrelated shot I think is kinda nifty. That is my band's singer. We were shooting pictures for album art, I shot this one on a whim and it came out pretty cool, I think.
