Surah 1 - Al Fatiha THE OPENING
001.001 In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

001.002 Praise be to God, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the Worlds;

001.003 Most Gracious, Most Merciful;

001.004 Master of the Day of Judgment.

001.005 Thee do we worship, and Thine aid we seek.

001.006 Show us the straight way,

001.007 The way of those on whom Thou hast bestowed Thy Grace, those whose (portion) is not wrath, and who go not astray.

These are only the first 2 "chapters" of the Holy Quran (one removed due to whining) this thread is for learning and discussing the Quran and it's teachings. you can read the rest of the quranic verses/chapters here.

I will be posting more teachings in this thread and helping others understand if they have any problems or simply want to discuss anything about the Quran.

No I posted Merely 2 Chapters to give the reader an idea of what the quran is and for an example of a verse somebody could quote for discussion.

I am permitted it states to quote articles for a few paragraphs, I didnt post like quater of the Quran or something it was 2 chapters and one of them was barely a verse.

The Quran teaches not to write/quote things out of context and whenever possible to quote the entire chapter, are you telling me to go against my religion and take small exerpts of the holy quran and not post them in full?

Are you trying to oppress my religion and make me break my religious conduct to suite your hatred of islam? I could remove the entire second chapter if it pleases the mods. but I cannot cut and remove half of it in a segment.

peace

My translation has different first chapters.

There is no fixed order of the chapters, apparently - at least, the original order of angelic dictation is not known.

In Arabic.

Your religion requires you to spam online forums in Arabic, not English.

Who is the family of Imran? That looks a lot like Iran? Why is he called Most Gracious? There always seems to be that same theme in most religions. Is that a name of God " Most Gracious" or is it an Attribute ? Like one of the holy Me's of heaven cast down ? Very good! I see nothing threatening in the writings thus far.

You are kind of a snippy kind. That will shorten your life span you know. Chi is trying to show us something and you are being like a Martha . Go wash some dishes or something

Where does it say this exactly.
The same place it says not to excerpt -

we have it on the universal word of several former Islamic missionaries on this forum, all of whom agree that only the Arabic version is the real, perfect Quran as dictated by the angel.

You should stop bowing to the oppression and bigotry of this forum, with its English-only bias that forces you to break your religious conduct. Being forced to present English corruptions of the perfect Book as "quotations" is an affront to your faith. Resist. Maintain your purity and cleanliness in the sight of Allah.

But Surah 1 isn't a "teaching", is it? It's a prayer.

If you want to discuss ideas from the Quran in a place where most people certainly aren't Muslims and where many aren't religious at all, then fine. Do that. Choose some ideas that you find interesting, significant or extraordinary, and then tell us why.

But if you just want to lead everyone in Islamic prayers (I notice that you posted this on Friday) then an Islamic discussion board might be a more appropriate place for that.

It must not be your religion yet you seem to be very opinionated about how Chi represents. Why does it matter so much to you if it is not your religion? Is it your fear of the Islamic community that makes you want to persecute and ridicule ?

No !!! I want to know and you all are sniffling the young Mans view. He is not preaching . He is not trying to convert. He is trying to show the way he thinks from the writings of his people. The stuff he has learned from being who he is. If I wanted to do an Analysis of Shakespeare would you act like this?

He is not preaching
Wrong.

If I wanted to do an Analysis of Shakespeare would you act like this?
Absolutely if you went about your "analysis" in the same way.

Posting anything verbatim without comment or, indeed, "analysis" is a no-no. Posting huge swathes of religious books without comment on its (supposed) meaning, relevance or anything else is preaching, pure and simple.
