The beam emittance in a particle acclerator is minimized to a few nanometers cross-section to increase the intensity of the burn. The focus the two beam provides for the transition towards de Sitter space since it is the breaching of the potential barrier which is only a function of energy which provides for generation of a Type Ia Supernova. Thus low emittance is where the particles are confined to a small distance and nearly the same momentum.

As can be seen from the following description, the RHIC at Brookahaven National Laboratory has created a highly energetic event that is now under discussion. Where it is disputed that it is a black hole, the event is there and there can be no dispute that it is potential precursor of a transition towards de Sitter space thus leaving us with the forthcoming generation of a Type Ia Supernova. We should recall in this connection that ignoring the laws of physics in no ways diminishes their power and universal efficacy. While the luminoisity at Fermialb has again reached towards the world record with 162.92E30 luminosity, the one thing we can be sure of is, following the generalization of Willem de Sitter and his modern counterparts of the General Theory Relativiy,that as these values increase at some point a transition towards de Sitter space will be formed thus releasing the force of a Type 1a Supernova.

The following request has been posted to the Accelupdates at Fermilab for their response.

Would you be so kind as to bring forward some commentary on the
possible dangers which may be present with this high-energy physics
research. In particular, would you be so kind as to comment on the
possibilty of forming such a transtion towards de Sitter space so
as to release the force of a Type Ia Supernova.

It would be most reassuring to your readers if you would demonstrate
that this is not possible. One of the former Directors of the British
Infrared Observatory on Mauna Kea, Hawaii indicated that scale
was of no consequence in the formation of a transition of this
nature. Of possible interest in this connection is the following
commentary from the CERN website.

"The Large Hadron Collider (LHC) is a particle accelerator which will probe
deeper into matter than ever before. Due to switch on in 2007, it will
ultimately collide beams of protons at an energy of 14 TeV . Beams of lead
nuclei will be also accelerated, smashing together with a collision energy
of 1150 TeV."

May we reiterate our request and we thank you one and all for your support in this most tragic potential experimental mischance. Please leave your address at (dixon at hawaii.edu) to confirm your wish to become a plaintiff in the forthcoming suit regarding public endangerment before it is too late. The
(Tev) A4 section of the Tevatron is now under repair for a "bad vacuum."

So far for the past three years there has been a steady increase in the luminosity at Fermilab. In this way, the energries are increasing to the point where a transition towards de Sitter Space is inevitable. Precursor events such as the generation of fiireball at the RHIC at Brookhaven would indicate that these colliders are now in the range of creating a Type Ia Supernova.

Let us now join with Ad Lagendijk as group leader at FOM-Institute for Atomic and Molecular Physics, Amseterdam, University Professor at the University of Amersterdam, Professor of Physics at the Universityof Twente, all in the Netherlands as New Years Resolution to change the norms and values of physics, to become emancipated. To do away with a primitive tally system of publication, citation and patents so that we can expect higher moral behavior of physicists. So far there have been two (2) additional volunteers to step forward. Calling for more.

legal actions of Dr. Rick Wagner and Dr. Walter Wagner who have brought suit against this development both in San Francisco and in New York. So far these suits have not been successful but we should continue these most worthy efforts. The construction of an hypothesis is based on a study of the relevant literature as seen in the letter, here included in this thread, to Lisa Madigan, Attorney Gerneral of the State of Illinois. Alas, the hypothesis derived from this literature is one well-known to all advanced scholars in modern physics, i.e, the formation of a Type Ia Supernova via the formation of transition towards de Sitter space. As the energy level increases in the CDF at Fermilab, we need only wait and see if this work at the highest-energy physics facility confirms this hypothesis with the generation of a Type Ia Supernova.

In order to refute those conclusions brought forward in this thread, it is essential that the major tenets of the the General Theory of Albert Einstein and its further derivation by Willem de Sitter be refuted with a complete mathematical description. In other words, the major work of relativistic cosmology must be disproved to form an objection to those conclusions regarding Type Ia Supernova generation as brought forward in this thread. The central theories are The General Theory of Relativity of Albert Einstein, which is very well respected and established in the field of physics circa 1920, and also the Standard Model of Quantum Field Physics begun in the 1970's. The Standard Model is incomplete since it does not encompass gravitational phenomena. Since it is the extension of the Generalized Theory of Relativity which predicts to de Sitter space this would be a reliable and established prediction based on modern relativistic cosmology. We need only wait for the confirmation of this prediction with the generation of a Type Ia Supernova from Fermilab, Brookhaven or CERN. Billions of dollars are being spent in this pursuit of confirmation of the exisence of de Sitter space in the Einstein de Sitter Universe as it is now termed.

Of further note in this connection, is additional evidence for the presence of de Sitter space in astronomical observations. Type Ia Supernovae are more
energetic than other Supernovae by a factor of some 2.4. This is the case
even though the progenitor object is of some 1 solar mass or less. These objects may then be below the Chandrasekar limit necessary for the implosion
threshold necessary for the generation of Supernovae.

Other evidence for the intrusional events from de Sitter space may be noted in the monopolar jets from quasars. These objects are four to five times larger than bipolar objects. Where the fluxional energetics of these variables is measured in millions of galaxies, it would appear plausible to assume that there is a unique source of energetics for these larger objects (i.e. de Sitter space) since there is a dichotomous distinction between Class I and Class II objects. Astronomy, (18) 8, 28-37) Recent observations in suppot this postulation are found in, Discovery of a bright quasar without a massive host galaxy (Magain, P. Letawe, G., Courbin, F., Jablonka, P., Jahnke, K., Meylan, G., Wisotzki, l., (2005) 7057, 437, pp. 381-384). Thus indicating that the enormous fluxional energetics of millions of galaxies over thousands of light-years extending for billions of years may have origin in de Sitter space or other similar energetic domain.

These supernovae are sufficiently uniform as to be used as standard candles in observational cosmology. While they are believed to form as a neighboring star has hydrogen siphoned off of it to form sufficient mass to produce the implosion necessary for supernova generation from a white dwarf, there is no trace of hydogen at the time of maximum light. Also, the process of ignition is not known. The hypothesis that sentient entitites much like ourselves
create Type Ia Supernovae is therefore brought forward. Should we be the only ones to create Tyoe Ia Supernova this would in a sense go against the uniformity of Nature. If on the other hand, they are noted arising as uniquely bright events that outshine their respective galaxies of origination throughout the cosmos, this would indicated that the possiblity of causing a Type Ia Supernova from experimentation is a frequent and uniform event. At this time all of the major leaders in high-energy physics are familiar with this postulation. May we therefor call for a moratorium on this line of research until that parameters controlling a transition towards de Sitter space are better understood.

Operations established store with an initial luminosity of 171.85E30. This store set a New Record Luminosity. Every Fermi luminosity record also sets a New World Luminosity Record. Pbar and MCenter resumed normal operations.

Accelerator Update on the Fermilab Home Page shows Tevatron CDF at 171.85E30 luminosity for the most recent world record at the highest-energy Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory. These energies are greater than those achieved at CERN. In scientific notation, this 171.85 x 10 to the 30th power particle interactions. With a beam energy of 10 to the 11th power electron volts, we have then the energy of the current work at Fermilab set a 171.85 x 10 to the 41st power
electron volts (171.85 E 41 eV). This is much greater than the largest energies seen on earth via cosmic ray interactions at 10 to the 19th
power eV (E 19 eV). Without publicity regarding this most critical danger,
a breach in the potential barrier may occur at any moment thus releasing

A natural question in this connection is why are these experiments being conducted. It may be noted in this connection that the world we see is constructed from just six particles, three matter particles (up quarks, down quarks and electrons), two force quanta (photons and gluons, and Higgs bosons, There are three sets of particles where each set is heavier than the preceeding set with the interactions of the particles in each set being the same as the preceeding set. The standard model cannot explain these differences. (Kane, G. (2005) The mysteries of mass, Scientific American 293, 1, 40-48) We may postulate that the vast explosion at the point origin of the universe may have produced at lest three wave actions that are reflected in these increasing masses of these fundamental particles as three separate waves propagated in the fields which embody electromagnetism, as well as the weak and strong interatomic binding forces. The central motivation for this thread is to prevent the ultimate doom for all of mankind. Where modern physics clearly reveals the presence of the high-energy condition according to the work of Albert Einstein and Willem de Sitter which we are protected from by a large potential barrier. The question has been raised by myself and my colleagues with the scientists as Fermilab, how this research can continue with the generation of a Type Ia Supernova as a certain result of laboratory mischance with the increased energies in the CDF at Fermilab. In a classical sense, the penetration of a potential barrier is only a function of energy. The scientists and other staff members indicated to us that 1.) They did not wish to work for "Ma Bell," Illinois. In other words for the telephone company. 2.) There was a philosophical quest for truth undergirding their research. To these replies, my colleagues indicated that this was essentially a selfish motivation since they risked the doom of everyone by their research with their energies approximating those found at the point origin of the universe. Should we accept their explanatory framework, or should we avoid this headlong rush to ultimate doom?

Gravitationally based phenomena such as the formation of black holes and strangelets would not be expected from the highly-energetic conditions either at Fermilab or Brookhaven.. In modern physics, the lower energy condition as well as de Sitter space (the higher energy condition) would be possible. As indicated in the letter to Illinois Attorney General Madigan, the postulation of an intrusional event from de Sitter space is more likely than a transition towards the lower energy condition though a transition to the lower energy condition would be possible. The entire universe would then flow into the lower energy condition. The energies now found at Fermilab will be exceeded by a factor of seven when the Large Hadron Collider at CERN begins operation. For some reason best known to the physicsts at Fermilab, they are leaving the accelerator in Batavia, Illinois. "A fireball created in a US particle accelerator has the characteristics of a black hole, a physicist has said. It was generated at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider (RHIC) in New York, US, which smashes beams of gold nuclei together at near light speeds. Horatiu Nastase says his calculations show that the core of the fireball has a striking similarity to a black hole. His work has been published on the pre-print website arxiv.org and is reported in New Scientist magazine. When the gold nuclei smash into each other they are broken down into particles called quarks and gluons. These form a ball of plasma about 300 times hotter than the surface of the Sun. This fireball, which lasts just 10 million, billion, billionths of a second, can be detected because it absorbs jets of particles produced by the beam collisions. But Nastase, of Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, says there is something unusual about it.

Ten times as many jets were being absorbed by the fireball as were predicted by calculations. The Brown researcher thinks the particles are disappearing into the fireball's core and reappearing as thermal radiation, just as matter is thought to fall into a black hole and come out as "Hawking" radiation. However, even if the ball of plasma is a black hole, it is not thought to pose a threat. At these energies and distances, gravity is not the dominant force in a black hole.

In this connection, may we present an alternate hypothesis to that presented by Mike Perricone in the FermiNews (The Universe Lives On, June 19, 1998). This postulation may be termed the high-energy postulation wherein the equations show the attractive properties of the high-energy condition termed de Sitter space. It would, therefore, under this postulation be found that high-energy physics experimentation now coming on line at the Tevatron in our Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory would have a greater probability of releasing a supernova upon our planet and solar system by breaching the potential barrier towards the high-energy condition (de Sitter Space) than initiating a transition towards the low-energy condition. This hypothesis is based on the work of Albert Einstein and Willem de Sitter. Their work has proven uniformly correct in the realm of physics and would necessarily be found to be true in relativistic cosmology. (Blau, S. K., Guendelman, E. I. & Guth, A. H(1987) Physical Review D. Particle and Fields, 3, 1747-1766. To quote in this connection from Alan Guth who initiated inflationary cosmology, "one might guess that the gravitational repulsion of the false vacuum would push outward on the bubble wall, so, if the repulsion were strong enough. Not so however, say the equations of general relativity. The gravitational repulsion causes the false vacuum to swell, but the repulsion does not extend beyond the false vacuum. Objects outside the bubble wall are attracted towards the bubble, and the gravitational force on the bubble is inward." (Burns, J.O. (1990) Astronomy, 18, 28-37)

The possibility of initiating a transition towards the lower-energy condition from high-energy physics experimentation may still be present, yet this kind of transition would have far lower probability value according to the aforementioned equation.

May we very respectfully request that these transitions be modeled via computer simulation before the Tevatron at the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory continues with any further experimentation at this time. To avoid any bias in understanding, publication of these results in a peer-reviewed journal of highest repute is most respectfully recommended to members of the staff at Fermilab.

It may be helpful to clarify the philosophical position and astrophysical energetics instrinsic to de Sitter space in the standard cosmological model in this postulation of transition from de Sitter space as generative of supernova in high-energy physics experimentation.

A philosophical position may be cited from, G. W. F. Hegel (The philosophy of history, New York: Dover, 249, 1956) ..." there is no essential existence which does not manifest itself." The very large energies derived by Willem de Sitter for the equations describing the false vacuum of de Sitter space yield an energy density of 1.69 x 10^126 for eV (electron volts) per cm^3. (Gott, R. (1982) Creation of open universes from de Sitter space, Nature, 295, 304-307. In Waldrop. M.M., (1982) Bubbles upon the river of time, Science, 215, 4536, 1082-1083), the energy density of de Sitter space is given as: 5 x 10^31 kelvin and 3 x 10^93 grams per cm^3 , converted to eV via e=mc^2 which is Albert Einstein's famous equation. This energy would then find expression in the observable universe. In the sense of this analysis, it would be quite unlikely that energies of this order of magnitude would remain hidden should a transition be formed in the potential barrier towards de Sitter space. This would serve as an immediate and ever present danger for the investigator and constitutes a public endangerment as well.

This is based on the mainstream theory of universe formation by Professor R. Gott of Princeton University in which each bubble universe forms smoothly out of de Sitter space. A potentially infinite number of universes may form in de Sitter space. In a topological sense, de Sitter space is cobordant at each point with the continuum (our universe). De Sitter space is then prevented by a large potential barrier from forming an intrusional event into the continuum. The essential hypothesis of this formulation is that with sufficiently great energetics, a classical breach in the potential barrier towards de Siitter space will be formed thus releasing the force of Type Ia supernova upon the terrestrial ecosphere, the solar system and those nearby stars. These energies are from de Sitter space, therefore; the energies of the accelerator only serve as a trigger for their release.

With sufficient energies, under this postulation, we discover that the accelerator is in the Einstein de Sitter universe, as it is now termed, and we have gone from particle physics as our governing theory to relativistic cosmology.

No harm will result from computer modelling of this alternate hypothesis for generation of Type Ia supernovae as a result of the formation of a transition towards de Sitter space. Yet clearly, vast harm may result form our continuing to plunge into the unknown without proper foresight concerning this possibility.

I only quickly skim your long post once every 3 or 4 months to see if you have recovered. (Any sane person would know that no one is reading all of these long repetitious texts.) I know from prior asking that you rarely (or never?) respond to questions, but note here that you do compare to cosmic rays (some thing I asked about at least a year ago.). This has encouraged me to ask another question:

From only quarterly skimming of your ramblings, it is difficult to tell if it is total energy, energy density, or what that is the danger. From your data above, I conclude that (171.85E41)/(E10) particles together had the total of 171.85E41ev. That is roughly 17E32 "particles" of E10ev each that made the total energy. Is this correct? {I put quotes on the word particles as I expect they are some strange soup of quarks etc.}

I have no idea about the total volume these "particles" occupy, but assume that in the lab frame, it is some cigar shaped volume. Can you tell me the "energy density” of this aggregate of "particles"?

How does that compare to the energy density of an energetic primary cosmic "ray"? (which we might assume to be "contained" in the "volume of a proton" as most cosmic rays are protons.) I bet that the energy density of the cosmic ray (with this volume assumption) is greater, but would like your RESPONSIVE comments first. - Try it may help with your recovery. - Making contact, even hostile contact, with others usually helps.

If energy density is not the important thing, but total energy is what is important, how does the 171.85E41ev compare to the total energy of the Queen Mary going at top speed? Again, I have not worked it out as I wish your comments first, but bet the QE II has the gold nuclei beat all to hell, but if you are correct, we are all going there anyway.

If you are right, it is better that you be responsive to questions than write long pages that no one will read. If you are right, you need to try to be effective in reaching your readers. (At present, I suspect that you have none, except “quarterly skimmers” like me.) Think about this a little. Your children will thank you.

SUPERNOVA FROM EXPERIMENTATION AT FERMILAB CERN AND BROOKHAVEN

The beam emittance in a particle acclerator is minimized to a few nanometers cross-section to increase the intensity of the burn. The focus the two beam provides for the transition towards de Sitter space since it is the breaching of the potential barrier which is only a function of energy which provides for generation of a Type Ia Supernova. Thus low emittance is where the particles are confined to a small distance and nearly the same momentum.

Thus indicating that the enormous fluxional energetics of millions of galaxies over thousands of light-years extending for billions of years may have origin in de Sitter space or other similar energetic domain.

These supernovae are sufficiently uniform as to be used as standard candles in observational cosmology. While they are believed to form as a neighboring star has hydrogen siphoned off of it to form sufficient mass to produce the implosion necessary for supernova generation from a white dwarf, there is no trace of hydogen at the time of maximum light. Also, the process of ignition is not known. The hypothesis that sentient entitites much like ourselves
create Type Ia Supernovae is therefore brought forward. Should we be the only ones to create Tyoe Ia Supernova this would in a sense go against the uniformity of Nature. If on the other hand, they are noted arising as uniquely bright events that outshine their respective galaxies of origination throughout the cosmos, this would indicated that the possiblity of causing a Type Ia Supernova from experimentation is a frequent and uniform event. At this time all of the major leaders in high-energy physics are familiar with this postulation. May we therefor call for a moratorium on this line of research until that parameters controlling a transition towards de Sitter space are better understood.

Operations established store with an initial luminosity of 171.85E30. This store set a New Record Luminosity. Every Fermi luminosity record also sets a New World Luminosity Record. Pbar and MCenter resumed normal operations.

A natural question in this connection is why are these experiments being conducted. It may be noted in this connection that the world we see is constructed from just six particles, three matter particles (up quarks, down quarks and electrons), two force quanta (photons and gluons, and Higgs bosons, There are three sets of particles where each set is heavier than the preceeding set with the interactions of the particles in each set being the same as the preceeding set. The central motivation for this thread is to prevent the ultimate doom for all of mankind. Where modern physics clearly reveals the presence of the high-energy condition according to the work of Albert Einstein and Willem de Sitter which we are protected from by a large potential barrier. The question has been raised by myself and my colleagues with the scientists as Fermilab, how this research can continue with the generation of a Type Ia Supernova as a certain result of laboratory mischance with the increased energies in the CDF at Fermilab. In a classical sense, the penetration of a potential barrier is only a function of energy. The scientists and other staff members indicated to us that 1.) They did not wish to work for "Ma Bell," Illinois. In other words for the telephone company. 2.) There was a philosophical quest for truth undergirding their research. To these replies, my colleagues indicated that this was essentially a selfish motivation since they risked the doom of everyone by their research with their energies approximating those found at the point origin of the universe. Should we accept their explanatory framework, or should we avoid this headlong rush to ultimate doom?

Gravitationally based phenomena such as the formation of black holes and strangelets would not be expected from the highly-energetic conditions either at Fermilab or Brookhaven.. In modern physics, the lower energy condition as well as de Sitter space (the higher energy condition) would be possible. As indicated in the letter to Illinois Attorney General Madigan, the postulation of an intrusional event from de Sitter space is more likely than a transition towards the lower energy condition though a transition to the lower energy condition would be possible. The entire universe would then flow into the lower energy condition. The energies now found at Fermilab will be exceeded by a factor of seven when the Large Hadron Collider at CERN begins operation. For some reason best known to the physicsts at Fermilab, they are leaving the accelerator in Batavia, Illinois. Horatiu Nastase says his calculations show that the core of the fireball has a striking similarity to a black hole. His work has been published on the pre-print website arxiv.org and is reported in New Scientist magazine. When the gold nuclei smash into each other they are broken down into particles called quarks and gluons. These form a ball of plasma about 300 times hotter than the surface of the Sun. This fireball, which lasts just 10 million, billion, billionths of a second, can be detected because it absorbs jets of particles produced by the beam collisions. But Nastase, of Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, says there is something unusual about it.

Ten times as many jets were being absorbed by the fireball as were predicted by calculations. The Brown researcher thinks the particles are disappearing into the fireball's core and reappearing as thermal radiation, just as matter is thought to fall into a black hole and come out as "Hawking" radiation. However, even if the ball of plasma is a black hole, it is not thought to pose a threat. At these energies and distances, gravity is not the dominant force in a black hole.

In this connection, may we present an alternate hypothesis to that presented by Mike Perricone in the FermiNews (The Universe Lives On, June 19, 1998). This postulation may be termed the high-energy postulation wherein the equations show the attractive properties of the high-energy condition termed de Sitter space. It would, therefore, under this postulation be found that high-energy physics experimentation now coming on line at the Tevatron in our Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory would have a greater probability of releasing a supernova upon our planet and solar system by breaching the potential barrier towards the high-energy condition (de Sitter Space) than initiating a transition towards the low-energy condition. This hypothesis is based on the work of Albert Einstein and Willem de Sitter. Their work has proven uniformly correct in the realm of physics and would necessarily be found to be true in relativistic cosmology. (Blau, S. K., Guendelman, E. I. & Guth, A. H(1987) Physical Review D. Particle and Fields, 3, 1747-1766. To quote in this connection from Alan Guth who initiated inflationary cosmology, "one might guess that the gravitational repulsion of the false vacuum would push outward on the bubble wall, so, if the repulsion were strong enough. Not so however, say the equations of general relativity. The gravitational repulsion causes the false vacuum to swell, but the repulsion does not extend beyond the false vacuum. Objects outside the bubble wall are attracted towards the bubble, and the gravitational force on the bubble is inward." (Burns, J.O. (1990) Astronomy, 18, 28-37)

The possibility of initiating a transition towards the lower-energy condition from high-energy physics experimentation may still be present, yet this kind of transition would have far lower probability value according to the aforementioned equation.

May we very respectfully request that these transitions be modeled via computer simulation before the Tevatron at the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory continues with any further experimentation at this time. To avoid any bias in understanding, publication of these results in a peer-reviewed journal of highest repute is most respectfully recommended to members of the staff at Fermilab.

It may be helpful to clarify the philosophical position and astrophysical energetics instrinsic to de Sitter space in the standard cosmological model in this postulation of transition from de Sitter space as generative of supernova in high-energy physics experimentation.

A philosophical position may be cited from, G. W. F. Hegel (The philosophy of history, New York: Dover, 249, 1956) ..." there is no essential existence which does not manifest itself." The very large energies derived by Willem de Sitter for the equations describing the false vacuum of de Sitter space yield an energy density of 1.69 x 10^126 for eV (electron volts) per cm^3. (Gott, R. (1982) Creation of open universes from de Sitter space, Nature, 295, 304-307. In Waldrop. M.M., (1982) Bubbles upon the river of time, Science, 215, 4536, 1082-1083), the energy density of de Sitter space is given as: 5 x 10^31 kelvin and 3 x 10^93 grams per cm^3 , converted to eV via e=mc^2 which is Albert Einstein's famous equation. This energy would then find expression in the observable universe. In the sense of this analysis, it would be quite unlikely that energies of this order of magnitude would remain hidden should a transition be formed in the potential barrier towards de Sitter space. This would serve as an immediate and ever present danger for the investigator and constitutes a public endangerment as well.

This is based on the mainstream theory of universe formation by Professor R. Gott of Princeton University in which each bubble universe forms smoothly out of de Sitter space. A potentially infinite number of universes may form in de Sitter space. In a topological sense, de Sitter space is cobordant at each point with the continuum (our universe). De Sitter space is then prevented by a large potential barrier from forming an intrusional event into the continuum. The essential hypothesis of this formulation is that with sufficiently great energetics, a classical breach in the potential barrier towards de Siitter space will be formed thus releasing the force of Type Ia supernova upon the terrestrial ecosphere, the solar system and those nearby stars. These energies are from de Sitter space, therefore; the energies of the accelerator only serve as a trigger for their release.

With sufficient energies, under this postulation, we discover that the accelerator is in the Einstein de Sitter universe, as it is now termed, and we have gone from particle physics as our governing theory to relativistic cosmology.

No harm will result from computer modelling of this alternate hypothesis for generation of Type Ia supernovae as a result of the formation of a transition towards de Sitter space. Yet clearly, vast harm may result form our continuing to plunge into the unknown without proper foresight concerning this possibility.

All of the children will thank you for your kind offices on their behalf. Please do what you can for them in this connection.

Where the ideal emittance to allow the beam of particles and antiparticles to "see on another" is in the order of a few nanometers cross-section, alas, the cross-section has been found to be 0.015 cm at the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory. Apparently, the slumping of the ground under the ring at Fermilab has not permitted the Tevatron to reach its full power. On the other hand, now that the Tevatron and its attendant support structures are undergoing a thorough refitting it may achieve the desired state of precision and give rise to the here hypothesized transition towards de Stitter space and in this way generate a Type Ia Supernova.

The beam emittance in a particle acclerator is minimized to a few nanometers cross-section to increase the intensity of the burn. The focus the two beam provides for the transition towards de Sitter space since it is the breaching of the potential barrier which is only a function of energy which provides for generation of a Type Ia Supernova. Thus low emittance is where the particles are confined to a small distance and nearly the same momentum.

Thus indicating that the enormous fluxional energetics of millions of galaxies over thousands of light-years extending for billions of years may have origin in de Sitter space or other similar energetic domain.

These supernovae are sufficiently uniform as to be used as standard candles in observational cosmology. While they are believed to form as a neighboring star has hydrogen siphoned off of it to form sufficient mass to produce the implosion necessary for supernova generation from a white dwarf, there is no trace of hydogen at the time of maximum light. Also, the process of ignition is not known. The hypothesis that sentient entitites much like ourselves
create Type Ia Supernovae is therefore brought forward. Should we be the only ones to create Tyoe Ia Supernova this would in a sense go against the uniformity of Nature. If on the other hand, they are noted arising as uniquely bright events that outshine their respective galaxies of origination throughout the cosmos, this would indicated that the possiblity of causing a Type Ia Supernova from experimentation is a frequent and uniform event. At this time all of the major leaders in high-energy physics are familiar with this postulation. May we therefor call for a moratorium on this line of research until that parameters controlling a transition towards de Sitter space are better understood.

Accelerator Update on the Fermilab Home Page shows Tevatron CDF at 171.85E30 luminosity for the most recent world record at the highest-energy Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory. These energies are greater than those achieved at CERN. In scientific notation, this 171.85 x 10 to the 30th power particle interactions. With a beam energy of 10 to the 11th power electron volts, we have then the energy of the current work at Fermilab set a 171.85 x 10 to the 41st power
electron volts (171.85 E 41 eV). This is much greater than the largest energies seen on earth via cosmic ray interactions at 10 to the 19th
power eV (E 19 eV). Without publicity regarding this most critical danger,
a breach in the potential barrier may occur at any moment thus releasing

A natural question in this connection is why are these experiments being conducted. It may be noted in this connection that the world we see is constructed from just six particles, three matter particles (up quarks, down quarks and electrons), two force quanta (photons and gluons, and Higgs bosons, There are three sets of particles where each set is heavier than the preceeding set with the interactions of the particles in each set being the same as the preceeding set. The central motivation for this thread is to prevent the ultimate doom for all of mankind. Where modern physics clearly reveals the presence of the high-energy condition according to the work of Albert Einstein and Willem de Sitter which we are protected from by a large potential barrier. The question has been raised by myself and my colleagues with the scientists as Fermilab, how this research can continue with the generation of a Type Ia Supernova as a certain result of laboratory mischance with the increased energies in the CDF at Fermilab. In a classical sense, the penetration of a potential barrier is only a function of energy. The scientists and other staff members indicated to us that 1.) They did not wish to work for "Ma Bell," Illinois. In other words for the telephone company. 2.) There was a philosophical quest for truth undergirding their research. To these replies, my colleagues indicated that this was essentially a selfish motivation since they risked the doom of everyone by their research with their energies approximating those found at the point origin of the universe. Should we accept their explanatory framework, or should we avoid this headlong rush to ultimate doom?

Gravitationally based phenomena such as the formation of black holes and strangelets would not be expected from the highly-energetic conditions either at Fermilab or Brookhaven.. In modern physics, the lower energy condition as well as de Sitter space (the higher energy condition) would be possible. As indicated in the letter to Illinois Attorney General Madigan, the postulation of an intrusional event from de Sitter space is more likely than a transition towards the lower energy condition though a transition to the lower energy condition would be possible. The entire universe would then flow into the lower energy condition. The energies now found at Fermilab will be exceeded by a factor of seven when the Large Hadron Collider at CERN begins operation. Please note that this prediction is based on relativistic cosmology of Albert Einstein and Willem de Sitter. This theory has an excellent record in predicting, explaining and controlling the data of observation in physics. Quantum mechanics is the other major theory in physics yet there still remain a number of difficulties in the explanatory framework for quantum mechanics as noted by Heisenberg and others.

It was generated at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider (RHIC) in New York, US, which smashes beams of gold nuclei together at near light speeds. Horatiu Nastase says his calculations show that the core of the fireball has a striking similarity to a black hole. His work has been published on the pre-print website arxiv.org and is reported in New Scientist magazine. When the gold nuclei smash into each other they are broken down into particles called quarks and gluons. These form a ball of plasma about 300 times hotter than the surface of the Sun. In this connection, may we present an alternate hypothesis to that presented by Mike Perricone in the FermiNews (The Universe Lives On, June 19, 1998). This postulation may be termed the high-energy postulation wherein the equations show the attractive properties of the high-energy condition termed de Sitter space. It would, therefore, under this postulation be found that high-energy physics experimentation now coming on line at the Tevatron in our Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory would have a greater probability of releasing a supernova upon our planet and solar system by breaching the potential barrier towards the high-energy condition (de Sitter Space) than initiating a transition towards the low-energy condition. This hypothesis is based on the work of Albert Einstein and Willem de Sitter. Their work has proven uniformly correct in the realm of physics and would necessarily be found to be true in relativistic cosmology. (Blau, S. K., Guendelman, E. I. & Guth, A. H(1987) Physical Review D. Particle and Fields, 3, 1747-1766. To quote in this connection from Alan Guth who initiated inflationary cosmology, "one might guess that the gravitational repulsion of the false vacuum would push outward on the bubble wall, so, if the repulsion were strong enough. Not so however, say the equations of general relativity. The gravitational repulsion causes the false vacuum to swell, but the repulsion does not extend beyond the false vacuum. Objects outside the bubble wall are attracted towards the bubble, and the gravitational force on the bubble is inward." (Burns, J.O. (1990) Astronomy, 18, 28-37)

The possibility of initiating a transition towards the lower-energy condition from high-energy physics experimentation may still be present, yet this kind of transition would have far lower probability value according to the aforementioned equation.

May we very respectfully request that these transitions be modeled via computer simulation before the Tevatron at the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory continues with any further experimentation at this time. To avoid any bias in understanding, publication of these results in a peer-reviewed journal of highest repute is most respectfully recommended to members of the staff at Fermilab.

It may be helpful to clarify the philosophical position and astrophysical energetics instrinsic to de Sitter space in the standard cosmological model in this postulation of transition from de Sitter space as generative of supernova in high-energy physics experimentation.

A philosophical position may be cited from, G. W. F. Hegel (The philosophy of history, New York: Dover, 249, 1956) ..." there is no essential existence which does not manifest itself." The very large energies derived by Willem de Sitter for the equations describing the false vacuum of de Sitter space yield an energy density of 1.69 x 10^126 for eV (electron volts) per cm^3. (Gott, R. (1982) Creation of open universes from de Sitter space, Nature, 295, 304-307. In Waldrop. M.M., (1982) Bubbles upon the river of time, Science, 215, 4536, 1082-1083), the energy density of de Sitter space is given as: 5 x 10^31 kelvin and 3 x 10^93 grams per cm^3 , converted to eV via e=mc^2 which is Albert Einstein's famous equation. This energy would then find expression in the observable universe. In the sense of this analysis, it would be quite unlikely that energies of this order of magnitude would remain hidden should a transition be formed in the potential barrier towards de Sitter space. This would serve as an immediate and ever present danger for the investigator and constitutes a public endangerment as well.

This is based on the mainstream theory of universe formation by Professor R. Gott of Princeton University in which each bubble universe forms smoothly out of de Sitter space. A potentially infinite number of universes may form in de Sitter space. In a topological sense, de Sitter space is cobordant at each point with the continuum (our universe). De Sitter space is then prevented by a large potential barrier from forming an intrusional event into the continuum. The essential hypothesis of this formulation is that with sufficiently great energetics, a classical breach in the potential barrier towards de Siitter space will be formed thus releasing the force of Type Ia supernova upon the terrestrial ecosphere, the solar system and those nearby stars. These energies are from de Sitter space, therefore; the energies of the accelerator only serve as a trigger for their release.

With sufficient energies, under this postulation, we discover that the accelerator is in the Einstein de Sitter universe, as it is now termed, and we have gone from particle physics as our governing theory to relativistic cosmology.

No harm will result from computer modelling of this alternate hypothesis for generation of Type Ia supernovae as a result of the formation of a transition towards de Sitter space. Yet clearly, vast harm may result form our continuing to plunge into the unknown without proper foresight concerning this possibility.

All of the children will thank you for your kind offices on their behalf. Please do what you can for them in this connection.

Each post seems to 200-500 characters copied and pasted into the previous post. A year or two ago, he cut out a lot of verbiage and started building from a smaller file.

In the six months mentioned above, he once made two posts in the same day. He seems to post every 3 to 12 days. He once went over a month between posts.

I guess that he posts often enough to keep the thread on the first page of the forum. If there are a lot of posts to other threads he must post more frequently. If others post to his thread, he can post less often.

Where the ideal emittance to allow the beam of particles and antiparticles to "see on another" is in the order of a few nanometers cross-section, alas, the cross-section has been found to be 0.015 cm at the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory. Apparently, the slumping of the ground under the ring at Fermilab has not permitted the Tevatron to reach its full power. On the other hand, now that the Tevatron and its attendant support structures are undergoing a thorough refitting it may achieve the desired state of precision and give rise to the here hypothesized transition towards de Stitter space and in this way generate a Type Ia Supernova.

The beam emittance in a particle acclerator is minimized to a few nanometers cross-section to increase the intensity of the burn. The focus the two beam provides for the transition towards de Sitter space since it is the breaching of the potential barrier which is only a function of energy which provides for generation of a Type Ia Supernova. Thus low emittance is where the particles are confined to a small distance and nearly the same momentum.

So far for the past three years there has been a steady increase in the luminosity at Fermilab. Letawe, G., Courbin, F., Jablonka, P., Jahnke, K., Meylan, G., Wisotzki, l., (2005) 7057, 437, pp. 381-384). Thus indicating that the enormous fluxional energetics of millions of galaxies over thousands of light-years extending for billions of years may have origin in de Sitter space or other similar energetic domain.

These supernovae are sufficiently uniform as to be used as standard candles in observational cosmology. While they are believed to form as a neighboring star has hydrogen siphoned off of it to form sufficient mass to produce the implosion necessary for supernova generation from a white dwarf, there is no trace of hydogen at the time of maximum light. Also, the process of ignition is not known. The hypothesis that sentient entitites much like ourselves
create Type Ia Supernovae is therefore brought forward. Should we be the only ones to create Tyoe Ia Supernova this would in a sense go against the uniformity of Nature. If on the other hand, they are noted arising as uniquely bright events that outshine their respective galaxies of origination throughout the cosmos, this would indicated that the possiblity of causing a Type Ia Supernova from experimentation is a frequent and uniform event. At this time all of the major leaders in high-energy physics are familiar with this postulation. May we therefor call for a moratorium on this line of research until that parameters controlling a transition towards de Sitter space are better understood.

Operations established store with an initial luminosity of 171.85E30. This store set a New Record Luminosity. Every Fermi luminosity record also sets a New World Luminosity Record. Pbar and MCenter resumed normal operations.

A natural question in this connection is why are these experiments being conducted. It may be noted in this connection that the world we see is constructed from just six particles, three matter particles (up quarks, down quarks and electrons), two force quanta (photons and gluons, and Higgs bosons, There are three sets of particles where each set is heavier than the preceeding set with the interactions of the particles in each set being the same as the preceeding set. The central motivation for this thread is to prevent the ultimate doom for all of mankind. Where modern physics clearly reveals the presence of the high-energy condition according to the work of Albert Einstein and Willem de Sitter which we are protected from by a large potential barrier. The question has been raised by myself and my colleagues with the scientists as Fermilab, how this research can continue with the generation of a Type Ia Supernova as a certain result of laboratory mischance with the increased energies in the CDF at Fermilab. In a classical sense, the penetration of a potential barrier is only a function of energy. The scientists and other staff members indicated to us that 1.) They did not wish to work for "Ma Bell," Illinois. In other words for the telephone company. 2.) There was a philosophical quest for truth undergirding their research. To these replies, my colleagues indicated that this was essentially a selfish motivation since they risked the doom of everyone by their research with their energies approximating those found at the point origin of the universe. Should we accept their explanatory framework, or should we avoid this headlong rush to ultimate doom?

Gravitationally based phenomena such as the formation of black holes and strangelets would not be expected from the highly-energetic conditions either at Fermilab or Brookhaven.. In modern physics, the lower energy condition as well as de Sitter space (the higher energy condition) would be possible. As indicated in the letter to Illinois Attorney General Madigan, the postulation of an intrusional event from de Sitter space is more likely than a transition towards the lower energy condition though a transition to the lower energy condition would be possible. The entire universe would then flow into the lower energy condition. The energies now found at Fermilab will be exceeded by a factor of seven when the Large Hadron Collider at CERN begins operation. For some reason best known to the physicsts at Fermilab, they are leaving the accelerator in Batavia, Illinois. It was generated at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider (RHIC) in New York, US, which smashes beams of gold nuclei together at near light speeds. Horatiu Nastase says his calculations show that the core of the fireball has a striking similarity to a black hole. His work has been published on the pre-print website arxiv.org and is reported in New Scientist magazine. When the gold nuclei smash into each other they are broken down into particles called quarks and gluons. These form a ball of plasma about 300 times hotter than the surface of the Sun. In this connection, may we present an alternate hypothesis to that presented by Mike Perricone in the FermiNews (The Universe Lives On, June 19, 1998). This postulation may be termed the high-energy postulation wherein the equations show the attractive properties of the high-energy condition termed de Sitter space. It would, therefore, under this postulation be found that high-energy physics experimentation now coming on line at the Tevatron in our Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory would have a greater probability of releasing a supernova upon our planet and solar system by breaching the potential barrier towards the high-energy condition (de Sitter Space) than initiating a transition towards the low-energy condition. This hypothesis is based on the work of Albert Einstein and Willem de Sitter. Their work has proven uniformly correct in the realm of physics and would necessarily be found to be true in relativistic cosmology. (Blau, S. K., Guendelman, E. I. & Guth, A. H(1987) Physical Review D. Particle and Fields, 3, 1747-1766. To quote in this connection from Alan Guth who initiated inflationary cosmology, "one might guess that the gravitational repulsion of the false vacuum would push outward on the bubble wall, so, if the repulsion were strong enough. Not so however, say the equations of general relativity. The gravitational repulsion causes the false vacuum to swell, but the repulsion does not extend beyond the false vacuum. Objects outside the bubble wall are attracted towards the bubble, and the gravitational force on the bubble is inward." (Burns, J.O. (1990) Astronomy, 18, 28-37)

The possibility of initiating a transition towards the lower-energy condition from high-energy physics experimentation may still be present, yet this kind of transition would have far lower probability value according to the aforementioned equation.

May we very respectfully request that these transitions be modeled via computer simulation before the Tevatron at the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory continues with any further experimentation at this time. To avoid any bias in understanding, publication of these results in a peer-reviewed journal of highest repute is most respectfully recommended to members of the staff at Fermilab.

It may be helpful to clarify the philosophical position and astrophysical energetics instrinsic to de Sitter space in the standard cosmological model in this postulation of transition from de Sitter space as generative of supernova in high-energy physics experimentation.

A philosophical position may be cited from, G. W. F. Hegel (The philosophy of history, New York: Dover, 249, 1956) ..." there is no essential existence which does not manifest itself." The very large energies derived by Willem de Sitter for the equations describing the false vacuum of de Sitter space yield an energy density of 1.69 x 10^126 for eV (electron volts) per cm^3. (Gott, R. (1982) Creation of open universes from de Sitter space, Nature, 295, 304-307. In Waldrop. M.M., (1982) Bubbles upon the river of time, Science, 215, 4536, 1082-1083), the energy density of de Sitter space is given as: 5 x 10^31 kelvin and 3 x 10^93 grams per cm^3 , converted to eV via e=mc^2 which is Albert Einstein's famous equation. This energy would then find expression in the observable universe. In the sense of this analysis, it would be quite unlikely that energies of this order of magnitude would remain hidden should a transition be formed in the potential barrier towards de Sitter space. This would serve as an immediate and ever present danger for the investigator and constitutes a public endangerment as well.

This is based on the mainstream theory of universe formation by Professor R. Gott of Princeton University in which each bubble universe forms smoothly out of de Sitter space. A potentially infinite number of universes may form in de Sitter space. In a topological sense, de Sitter space is cobordant at each point with the continuum (our universe). De Sitter space is then prevented by a large potential barrier from forming an intrusional event into the continuum. The essential hypothesis of this formulation is that with sufficiently great energetics, a classical breach in the potential barrier towards de Siitter space will be formed thus releasing the force of Type Ia supernova upon the terrestrial ecosphere, the solar system and those nearby stars. These energies are from de Sitter space, therefore; the energies of the accelerator only serve as a trigger for their release.

With sufficient energies, under this postulation, we discover that the accelerator is in the Einstein de Sitter universe, as it is now termed, and we have gone from particle physics as our governing theory to relativistic cosmology.

No harm will result from computer modelling of this alternate hypothesis for generation of Type Ia supernovae as a result of the formation of a transition towards de Sitter space. Yet clearly, vast harm may result form our continuing to plunge into the unknown without proper foresight concerning this possibility.

With the refitting of the Tevatron at Fermilab, the time has come for serious
discussions of the forthcoming generation of a Type Ia Supernova via the formation of transition towards de Sitter space. Where the ideal emittance to allow the beam of particles and antiparticles to "see on another" is in the order of a few nanometers cross-section, alas, the cross-section has been found to be 0.015 cm at the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory. Apparently, the slumping of the ground under the ring at Fermilab has not permitted the Tevatron to reach its full power. On the other hand, now that the Tevatron and its attendant support structures are undergoing a thorough refitting it may achieve the desired state of precision and give rise to the here hypothesized transition towards de Stitter space and in this way generate a Type Ia Supernova.

The beam emittance in a particle acclerator is minimized to a few nanometers cross-section to increase the intensity of the burn. The focus the two beam provides for the transition towards de Sitter space since it is the breaching of the potential barrier which is only a function of energy which provides for generation of a Type Ia Supernova. Thus low emittance is where the particles are confined to a small distance and nearly the same momentum.

The rate of change towards ever higher energies has been accelerated at Fermilab thus decreasing the time remaining for our planet earth and all of us as well. Many thanks for your kind attention and prompt actions in this tragic concern.

The central theories are The General Theory of Relativity of Albert Einstein, which is very well respected and established in the field of physics circa 1920, and also the Standard Model of Quantum Field Physics begun in the 1970's. The Standard Model is incomplete since it does not encompass gravitational phenomena. Since it is the extension of the Generalized Theory of Relativity which predicts to de Sitter space this would be a reliable and established prediction based on modern relativistic cosmology. We need only wait for the confirmation of this prediction with the generation of a Type Ia Supernova from Fermilab, Brookhaven or CERN. Billions of dollars are being spent in this pursuit of confirmation of the exisence of de Sitter space in the Einstein de Sitter Universe as it is now termed.

Other evidence for the intrusional events from de Sitter space may be noted in the monopolar jets from quasars. These objects are four to five times larger than bipolar objects. Where the fluxional energetics of these variables is measured in millions of galaxies, it would appear plausible to assume that there is a unique source of energetics for these larger objects (i.e. de Sitter space) since there is a dichotomous distinction between Class I and Class II objects. Astronomy, (18) 8, 28-37) Recent observations in suppot this postulation are found in, Discovery of a bright quasar without a massive host galaxy (Magain, P. Letawe, G., Courbin, F., Jablonka, P., Jahnke, K., Meylan, G., Wisotzki, l., (2005) 7057, 437, pp. 381-384). Thus indicating that the enormous fluxional energetics of millions of galaxies over thousands of light-years extending for billions of years may have origin in de Sitter space or other similar energetic domain.

These supernovae are sufficiently uniform as to be used as standard candles in observational cosmology. While they are believed to form as a neighboring star has hydrogen siphoned off of it to form sufficient mass to produce the implosion necessary for supernova generation from a white dwarf, there is no trace of hydogen at the time of maximum light. Also, the process of ignition is not known. The hypothesis that sentient entitites much like ourselves
create Type Ia Supernovae is therefore brought forward. Should we be the only ones to create Tyoe Ia Supernova this would in a sense go against the uniformity of Nature. If on the other hand, they are noted arising as uniquely bright events that outshine their respective galaxies of origination throughout the cosmos, this would indicated that the possiblity of causing a Type Ia Supernova from experimentation is a frequent and uniform event. At this time all of the major leaders in high-energy physics are familiar with this postulation. May we therefor call for a moratorium on this line of research until that parameters controlling a transition towards de Sitter space are better understood.

Operations established store with an initial luminosity of 171.85E30. This store set a New Record Luminosity. Every Fermi luminosity record also sets a New World Luminosity Record. Pbar and MCenter resumed normal operations.

Accelerator Update on the Fermilab Home Page shows Tevatron CDF at 171.85E30 luminosity for the most recent world record at the highest-energy Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory. These energies are greater than those achieved at CERN. In scientific notation, this 171.85 x 10 to the 30th power particle interactions. With a beam energy of 10 to the 11th power electron volts, we have then the energy of the current work at Fermilab set a 171.85 x 10 to the 41st power
electron volts (171.85 E 41 eV). This is much greater than the largest energies seen on earth via cosmic ray interactions at 10 to the 19th
power eV (E 19 eV). Without publicity regarding this most critical danger,
a breach in the potential barrier may occur at any moment thus releasing
the force of a supernova on our planet and solar system. We will thus have an intrusional event from de Sitter space in the Einstein de Sitter Universe

A natural question in this connection is why are these experiments being conducted. It may be noted in this connection that the world we see is constructed from just six particles, three matter particles (up quarks, down quarks and electrons), two force quanta (photons and gluons, and Higgs bosons, There are three sets of particles where each set is heavier than the preceeding set with the interactions of the particles in each set being the same as the preceeding set. The standard model cannot explain these differences. (Kane, G. (2005) The mysteries of mass, Scientific American 293, 1, 40-48) We may postulate that the vast explosion at the point origin of the universe may have produced at lest three wave actions that are reflected in these increasing masses of these fundamental particles as three separate waves propagated in the fields which embody electromagnetism, as well as the weak and strong interatomic binding forces. May we recommend more theoretical work in this connection rather than empirical to leave our world intact for every child as they grow older.

The central motivation for this thread is to prevent the ultimate doom for all of mankind. Where modern physics clearly reveals the presence of the high-energy condition according to the work of Albert Einstein and Willem de Sitter which we are protected from by a large potential barrier. The question has been raised by myself and my colleagues with the scientists as Fermilab, how this research can continue with the generation of a Type Ia Supernova as a certain result of laboratory mischance with the increased energies in the CDF at Fermilab. In a classical sense, the penetration of a potential barrier is only a function of energy. The scientists and other staff members indicated to us that 1.) They did not wish to work for "Ma Bell," Illinois. In other words for the telephone company. 2.) There was a philosophical quest for truth undergirding their research. To these replies, my colleagues indicated that this was essentially a selfish motivation since they risked the doom of everyone by their research with their energies approximating those found at the point origin of the universe. Should we accept their explanatory framework, or should we avoid this headlong rush to ultimate doom?

Gravitationally based phenomena such as the formation of black holes and strangelets would not be expected from the highly-energetic conditions either at Fermilab or Brookhaven.. In modern physics, the lower energy condition as well as de Sitter space (the higher energy condition) would be possible. As indicated in the letter to Illinois Attorney General Madigan, the postulation of an intrusional event from de Sitter space is more likely than a transition towards the lower energy condition though a transition to the lower energy condition would be possible. The entire universe would then flow into the lower energy condition. The energies now found at Fermilab will be exceeded by a factor of seven when the Large Hadron Collider at CERN begins operation. For some reason best known to the physicsts at Fermilab, they are leaving the accelerator in Batavia, Illinois. "A fireball created in a US particle accelerator has the characteristics of a black hole, a physicist has said. It was generated at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider (RHIC) in New York, US, which smashes beams of gold nuclei together at near light speeds. Horatiu Nastase says his calculations show that the core of the fireball has a striking similarity to a black hole. His work has been published on the pre-print website arxiv.org and is reported in New Scientist magazine. When the gold nuclei smash into each other they are broken down into particles called quarks and gluons. These form a ball of plasma about 300 times hotter than the surface of the Sun. This fireball, which lasts just 10 million, billion, billionths of a second, can be detected because it absorbs jets of particles produced by the beam collisions. But Nastase, of Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, says there is something unusual about it.

Ten times as many jets were being absorbed by the fireball as were predicted by calculations. The Brown researcher thinks the particles are disappearing into the fireball's core and reappearing as thermal radiation, just as matter is thought to fall into a black hole and come out as "Hawking" radiation. However, even if the ball of plasma is a black hole, it is not thought to pose a threat. At these energies and distances, gravity is not the dominant force in a black hole.

In this connection, may we present an alternate hypothesis to that presented by Mike Perricone in the FermiNews (The Universe Lives On, June 19, 1998). This postulation may be termed the high-energy postulation wherein the equations show the attractive properties of the high-energy condition termed de Sitter space. It would, therefore, under this postulation be found that high-energy physics experimentation now coming on line at the Tevatron in our Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory would have a greater probability of releasing a supernova upon our planet and solar system by breaching the potential barrier towards the high-energy condition (de Sitter Space) than initiating a transition towards the low-energy condition. This hypothesis is based on the work of Albert Einstein and Willem de Sitter. Their work has proven uniformly correct in the realm of physics and would necessarily be found to be true in relativistic cosmology. (Blau, S. K., Guendelman, E. I. & Guth, A. H(1987) Physical Review D. Particle and Fields, 3, 1747-1766. To quote in this connection from Alan Guth who initiated inflationary cosmology, "one might guess that the gravitational repulsion of the false vacuum would push outward on the bubble wall, so, if the repulsion were strong enough. Not so however, say the equations of general relativity. The gravitational repulsion causes the false vacuum to swell, but the repulsion does not extend beyond the false vacuum. Objects outside the bubble wall are attracted towards the bubble, and the gravitational force on the bubble is inward." (Burns, J.O. (1990) Astronomy, 18, 28-37)

The possibility of initiating a transition towards the lower-energy condition from high-energy physics experimentation may still be present, yet this kind of transition would have far lower probability value according to the aforementioned equation.

May we very respectfully request that these transitions be modeled via computer simulation before the Tevatron at the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory continues with any further experimentation at this time. To avoid any bias in understanding, publication of these results in a peer-reviewed journal of highest repute is most respectfully recommended to members of the staff at Fermilab.

It may be helpful to clarify the philosophical position and astrophysical energetics instrinsic to de Sitter space in the standard cosmological model in this postulation of transition from de Sitter space as generative of supernova in high-energy physics experimentation.

A philosophical position may be cited from, G. W. F. Hegel (The philosophy of history, New York: Dover, 249, 1956) ..." there is no essential existence which does not manifest itself." The very large energies derived by Willem de Sitter for the equations describing the false vacuum of de Sitter space yield an energy density of 1.69 x 10^126 for eV (electron volts) per cm^3. (Gott, R. (1982) Creation of open universes from de Sitter space, Nature, 295, 304-307. In Waldrop. M.M., (1982) Bubbles upon the river of time, Science, 215, 4536, 1082-1083), the energy density of de Sitter space is given as: 5 x 10^31 kelvin and 3 x 10^93 grams per cm^3 , converted to eV via e=mc^2 which is Albert Einstein's famous equation. This energy would then find expression in the observable universe. In the sense of this analysis, it would be quite unlikely that energies of this order of magnitude would remain hidden should a transition be formed in the potential barrier towards de Sitter space. This would serve as an immediate and ever present danger for the investigator and constitutes a public endangerment as well.

This is based on the mainstream theory of universe formation by Professor R. Gott of Princeton University in which each bubble universe forms smoothly out of de Sitter space. A potentially infinite number of universes may form in de Sitter space. In a topological sense, de Sitter space is cobordant at each point with the continuum (our universe). De Sitter space is then prevented by a large potential barrier from forming an intrusional event into the continuum. The essential hypothesis of this formulation is that with sufficiently great energetics, a classical breach in the potential barrier towards de Siitter space will be formed thus releasing the force of Type Ia supernova upon the terrestrial ecosphere, the solar system and those nearby stars. These energies are from de Sitter space, therefore; the energies of the accelerator only serve as a trigger for their release.

With sufficient energies, under this postulation, we discover that the accelerator is in the Einstein de Sitter universe, as it is now termed, and we have gone from particle physics as our governing theory to relativistic cosmology.

No harm will result from computer modelling of this alternate hypothesis for generation of Type Ia supernovae as a result of the formation of a transition towards de Sitter space. Yet clearly, vast harm may result form our continuing to plunge into the unknown without proper foresight concerning this possibility.

All of the children will thank you for your kind offices on their behalf. Please do what you can for them in this connection.

Here are some facts that might clarify.

Avogadro's number is about 6E23, which if protons (i.e. Hydrogen) would weigh about one gram. 1E31 protons or anti-protons in a proton beam would weigh about 1E7 grams, or about 10 metric tons. Last I checked, FermiLab's beam didn't weigh that much at rest, let alone after acceleration and increase in mass due to relativity.

Hawking postulated that mini-black-holes would "evaporate" by quantum tunnelling. He produced an excellent forumula that would give the lifetime (half-life) for a blackhole for any mass (energy in eV). Plugging in the relativistic mass of two colliding Gold atoms at RHIC (circa 1E13 eV) resulted in a half-life that was incredibly short (on the order of 1E-40 seconds), so short that any such mini-black-hole produced at the RHIC would "evaporate" before it had budged, let alone traversed the diameter of a proton. However, not wanting to rest the "fate of humanity" on my calculations alone, I wrote that letter to Scientific American quite a few years ago (1999) seeking validation of my theoretical insight. Regrettably, the idea was postulated by numerous advanced theorists that I was "nuts" for saying that mini-black-holes might be created, but that strangelets were OK to be postulated.

It was gratifying to see that recently I was vindicated, when experimenters suggested that just such an ultra-short-lived mini-black-hole could account for some of their recent experimental work (as referenced by Dixon).

For those who've not read about some of my prior work (other than via the lay-media, which always sensationalizes), I spent several years studying the cosmic ray background at UC Berekeley, and in one such experiment, I discovered a cosmic ray track that exactly mimiced what one would expect to have been produced by a magnetic monopole, and that work received a little attention at the time. To date, no other known or theoretical particle has been able to explain that very real, and very anomalous cosmic ray track. That was way back in 1975, long before most of these thread writers were out of diapers.

Having that background, I know enough about cosmic ray energies and particles to make some cogent comments. Admittedly, cosmic ray showers (at Pierre Auger and elsewhere) have energies reportedly as high as 1E21 eV, and no one can come up with an explanation as to how such energies could be achieved, if by normal particles. An alternative explanation, not yet proven or refuted, is that those showers are caused by the break-up of an unknown type of particle of high rest-mass, such as a super-massive magnetic monopole. No one knows, as of yet, thus research is being done on this.

The highest energy cosmic rays of known particulate matter (presumptively protons) striking earth's atmosphere are closer to 1E17 eV, and in their Center of Momentum rest-frame, if striking a Uranium atom lying on the surface of the Moon at rest, results in a collision that would be mimiced by a RHIC-like collider of about 1E14 eV total COM energy, or about two orders of magnitude higher that RHIC or FermiLab currently, though at a VERY low flux (they're very rare). That assumes, of course, that the error-bars on the energy (which have standard deviations that are 1-2 orders of magnitude!) are not a factor of concern. These are energies that are well above the "knee".

In addition to my work in cosmic ray research, I also work extensively in health physics and nuclear medicine (see my professional societies at www.hps.org and www.snm.org). Some of that work led me to examine what happened to all of the Uranium that was mined prior to WWII for use in the Radium industry. It literally takes about 1 metric ton of Uranium to produce 1 gram of Radium (1 Curie, by original definition), which is enough Radium for about 10 clocks. Thus, to produce the millions of clock dials and air-craft dials via the Radium industry, millions of tons of Uranium were mined, and became a waste product of that industry, once depleted of its Radium. Since Uranium had been used in the glazing industry for centuries prior thereto (it was used at least 600 years ago in China), this waste product became a cheap resource for the pottery and tile industries, and was used extensively to glaze bathroom tiles, kitchen tiles, etc. About 25% of those tiles are still in place, and in some homes as much as 100 mCi of beta activity can be present, and actually does present a health risk. Finding them is problematic, however, and the health risk is generally low unless you have a small child crawling around for hours at a time on them. They put out about 20 mRad/Hour of primarily beta radiation (from radiodaughters) and are not an alpha hazard (except during removal, if made into a dust).

In theoretical work, it should be noted that neutral strangelets have not been ruled out at RHIC, though positive/negative strangelets likely have. Whether strangelets can happen at the LHC is unknown, though highly doubtful according to most theories, but not yet disproven.

Unlike most "doomsday" writers describe, a strangelet scenario does not lead to instant 'supernova' by runaway fusion. Rather, such accretion of atoms via fusion would be one atom at a time initially, and would literally likely take billions of years to increase to the size of one gram (1E22 atoms accreted over 1E9 years). It would likely take the production of billions of strangelets to create a problem - though not something yet disproven at the LHC (or indeed, even at the RHIC, for neutral strangelets) as an impossibility. Hence my concern.

Hope this answers some questions.

The transition towards de Sitter space superficially appears improbable due to the large spacing between the separate proton-antiproton collisions, on the order of 1E5 proton diameters. But again, I cannot disprove that large numbers of such collisions occurring essentially simultaneously in a very small (nanometer-diameter) space won't have an additive effect, though I cannot yet see how. That is something that doesn't occur in nature.

Our time, in observing in Earth's reference frame. Hawking's theories predict that any such ultra-mini black-hole will "evaporate", and hence none are left over from the "Big Bang", where presumptively they occurred in great abundance (again, under Hawking's theories).

If Hawking got it wrong, don't blame me.

However, his reasoning appears valid, and it appears that the RHIC, if it is true that it produced a mini-black-hole of ultra-short lifetime, has validated his reasoning (and, implicitly, my extrapolation of his reasoning to suggest that the RHIC "fireball" might mimic such mini-black-hole). My query to Scientific American was exactly because of thoughts such as yours posted herein - I'm only one guy, and I'm not so conceited as to assert I'm never wrong.

Since Uranium had been used in the glazing industry for centuries prior thereto (it was used at least 600 years ago in China), this waste product became a cheap resource for the pottery and tile industries, and was used extensively to glaze bathroom tiles, kitchen tiles, etc. About 25% of those tiles are still in place, and in some homes as much as 100 mCi of beta activity can be present, and actually does present a health risk.

Would you be the same Walter Wagner that called FOX KTVU in regards to hot tiles at San Francisco's Francis Scott Key Elementary School?
 
Various news media have superficially covered the fact that Uranium, left over from the Radium era prior to WWII, is present in large quantitites (pounds, or multi-milliCuries) in houses, schools, and various other buildings which were constructed prior to WWII. The health hazard generally is minimal, unless large surface areas are covered with Uranium (such as an entire floor covered with uranium-glazed tiles, as is the case in some houses, and an infant is left to crawl around on those tiles all day), and people are in CLOSE proximity for hours on end.

Since most of San Francisco's buildings are, for the most part, constructed prior to WWII, many of them contain such Uranium tiles (though it appears that about 75% have been remodeled in the intervening years, and the old Uranium tiles removed, based on a cursory survey of some such houses), both ordinary tiles such as used for bathroom shower-stall surrounds and floors, as well as various types of ornamental tiles.

The Francis Scott Key school, an elementary school, has a Uranium surround (green specialty tiles) on the outside, where students do not congreate, except for one small area at the entrance where sometimes kids sit. Their potential exposure is relatively low (under one Rad/year at a maximum, and only to the skin and first cm. or so of tissue) because it's primarily beta exposure, though entirely unnecessary. It is quite probable that houses in that neighborhood have far greater potential for beta exposure to their occupants from floor tiles or bathroom tiles, than do the students from attendance at that particular neighborhood school. However, I have not been inside any of those particular houses to verify that. The Junior High School I attended years ago had such tiles as a floor-to-ceiling surround in both the Boys and Girls bathrooms, until last year when they were removed pursuant to an already-in-place remodel program.

This was covered by MSNBC, and other media, many of which distorted both the facts, as well as my assertions. The State Department of Health for California recommends removal of such Uranium, though in a controlled manner (i.e. don't make it into a dust). Their measurements at that school were essentially about the same as mine (about a factor of two difference).

It is not recommended that such tiles be removed if they are in areas of low traffic, or where people are not nearby (within a few feet). Indeed, in many instances, they make for an excellent introduction into the properties of nuclear physics as a teaching tool. What makes a Uranium nucleus unstable; the radioactive decay chain for both U-238 and U-235; types of radiations, decay-modes and half-lives; their interactions with matter, etc., etc.

In the past few years, I have visited dozens of cities across the US, and every one has readily produced examples of such Uranium tiles, with literally thousands of styles.

It is incorrect to refer to this as "trace" amounts. Any one tile might have several microCuries, or several grams, of essentially pure Uranium oxide powder as the glazing material, baked into an enamel as a coating on the surface.

However, we have bigger fish to fry in many other areas. Many people still smoke cigarettes, and receive a radiation exposure to their lungs from the Polonium, as well as exposure to chemical carcinogens.

Iran has embarked on a U-235 enrichment program, which is of international concern.

And on and on.

As to humans creating black holes, I do not think we know enough about the properties of a black hole to do a computer simulation and I heard than NEC super computer locked up when they tried the simulation...so they had to adjust some parameters. I am sure they must have used Hawking's equation....

Many years ago, one of my school mate who was studying electrical engineering was rewiring his room fan with live wires standing on a wooden chair convinced that since the wood is a poor conductor of electricity - nothing will happen to him. Needless to say, he died when his left hand touched the grounded frame while he was twisting the hot wire in his right hand.

Actually, it was Gregger, using an oxidation chamber, who calulated 2.4% while you calculated 7% using a Geiger counter. And it was Gregger who stated it would take a student -- a bare-bottomed one, no less -- two hundred days, thirty minutes a day, of sitting on his keister to ever have a chance of absorbing one rad. And even then, the chances of that rad leading to cancer were fewer than 1 in 1,000.

You calculated that a kid who sat on the school's tiled bench a total of one hour a day (thirty minutes before classes, fifteen during lunch, and fifteen waiting for a ride home) over the course of two hundred school days would absorb four thousand millirads (four rads) annually to various portions of the body.

That would appear to be substantially more than 'a factor of two difference.'
