Should women be allowed to nurse their baby on airplanes?

We could have a convoluted argument but my view would be along these lines: Why couldn't you just come up with a practical solution of some kind, like having a space in the plane away from other passengers for women to breast-feed?

Why does it need to be separate? Why should a woman be subjected to segregation when she's not doing anything even remotely sexual, pornographic, disturbing, dirty, or weird. I could see the need if she was lactating all over the place, but they are breasts. They were designed by nature to feed a child. If people are so sensitive to this fact, then they should be segregated, not the mother.

I think it's a sad indictment of people's psyches when a woman breastfeeding her child is seen as indecent.
