Should men have a say in abortion ?

Read something on Twitter - “pro forced birth” ...that’s a better descriptor because pro life means that you care about nearly all life, anyway.

forced proctology model for medical students
it should be compulsory for all male politicians as mandatory public service prior to being given the job.

it will save lifes !
they have a moral responsibility !

pro forced medical examinations for group educational (and comedic)purposes

Pro-lifers answered that men should have the final say? I didn’t read that.

they wont say it out loud because their sexist marriages will only stand a certain amount of misogynistic fascism before the little woman says she is not going to do the house work or cooking and that men should not be messing in womens business because women dont mess in mens power of being the head of the household.

i am the man and god says the man is the head of the house hold and someone has to be the boss
there is your model of power and control having no moral authority.

the brain washed never ending loop brainwashed into children.

hows the brain washing of your children going today ?
are they being adequately intellectually & psychologically repressed ?

good job !
job well done !

I think I'm out of this thread, now. Maybe there'll be more compassionate pro-lifers to come on the scene and empathize with other viewpoints, but until then...

I said it was answered. I didn't say it was answered by them. They'll prevaricate till they're blue in the - some part of their anatomy - but they won't admit their real issue: that women can't be trusted with life-and-death decisions. Just don't ask to see men's track-record on life-and-death decisions all the while they've been running the whole frickin world, because, by them, that's a different subject.

So, if I could convince a woman not to abort her child--using compassion rather than fear, shame or obstruction--would that be a win/win for everyone? :)

Nope.
You're still having the say you didn't earn the right to.

But you said you don't favor abortion, right? If I convince a woman to keep her child without kicking down her door, what's the problem? Everybody here agrees that abortion is the least desirable option, right?

I don't see anything wrong with that at all, as long as you help to get assistance to really help her work through the situation. :) I think the problem I have is that many people who say they are pro-life, don't want to go beyond their words (''abortion is wrong, don't get an abortion'') in order to help women in need.

you are quite right
99.99% of pro-lifers have psychopathic disassociation from the pregnant woman
like the child pulling wings of flies.

they "claim" to care about all life, however, in their mind, they have already picked up the teenage girl or woman, and put them into a cage and then labelled them "non human has no feelings"
it is closely related to Stockholm syndrome and somehow wound up in the Munchhausen by proxy issue of self actualization being manipulatively twisted by fascism.

"yes but the pregnant girl/women doesn't count"
"she has no right to choose"
"she is the slave"
"the slave to man playing dress-up as a women playing god calling themselves religion"

Well, I suppose, abortion is easier. It certainly doesn't offer a lifetime of regret for the pregnant woman.

if "flipping the switch" on the empathic position of the victim means nothing... then what does the original meaning mean ?
nothing !

it is ok to not care
but to inflict your will upon someone else where it removes their freedom to govern their own body, then you become the destroyer of worlds.
your association to "allow" a women to commit suicide is not drawn to be your position of guilt is it ?

I think that most pro-lifers feel that the life growing within the womb, is not the woman's body, but a separate body. That is where the debate comes in. They would agree that women should ''govern'' their own bodies, but they shouldn't be able to govern another body. I believe that was mentioned at some point in this thread.

I think? It's becoming a blur... :rolleye:

Keep your abortion clinics. I won't even stand outside their doors. Satisfied? :)

when you throw away the empathy of the girl/women you become the devil you despise so much
to force your desire to care about someone else by forcing them to do what you say against their wishes... you become the devil you despise so much

...

when your only focus is on winning the game, your ability to define between winning and losing has already been lost
your continued argument to find absolution is your own moral impasse

who are you trying to convince that you should govern the rights over womens body's ?

sitting in the corner pulling wings off flies...

the blur of the illusion helps remove empathy from those wishing to be the dictator of others.
