We heard what we were listening for. The fighter and attack craft from the three carriers were returning and we could here the noise of the engines of the carriers shutting down and the arresting gears being used again, and again, and again for each plane.

"Captain!"-Vasili said

"Fire Vasili"-Dimitri said

We heard the terrible whooshing sound as the compressed air fired each torpedo out into the water one at a time. The Type 65's were the largest torpedos in the world (true weapon btw), 65 cm in diameter. They raced to their target, four of them towards the Ford, two towards the Nimitz, and two towards the Bush.

As shogun and his air group were returning they saw the American planes flying in circles waiting their turn to land in what was the largest gathering of naval power he had ever seen in one place. A massive explosion rocked the ocean, his air group could feel it.

One squadron leader said "Oh my G-d". The Gerald Ford had been struck directly with 3 torpedos, one had missed, two of them had detonated under the ship creating a massive airbubble that caused the hull to crash into itself and to cut it in half, the ship had been cut in two. And it was sinking, Fast! A plane managed to just barely abort his landing when the tail of the Ford was almost vertical in the air, it rose up one last time and than fell below the waves. Soon afterwards another explosion rocked the ocean, the Bush was hit by two torpedos directly and immediately began capsizing, but luckily it was slow enough for her crew to be saved, but the carrier was doomed.

The Nimitz was the lucky one, her crew managed to get off several decoys and turn evasively and one of the torpedos missed, but another detonated on the bow of her hull and ripped off a good 30 feet of the forward hull including the flight deck. Luckily, she would survive.

The American planes were too low on fuel, they had to start ditching in the ocean, the crews were saved by the destroyers, but the loss in aircraft was near irreplacable.

"Turn her around and bring the ship to 35 knots, keep her from cavitating"-Dimitriy

"aye sir"

After that I retired to my room, it was pretty nice, the crew was shouting a yelling, normally I would burn them a new asshole for what they were doing, but they just sank two aircraft carriers and disabled another, they deserved it.

Ahh, good old beef. Otto began eating his crappy 1961 surplus food with a disgusted look on his face. He looked out into the desert and thought about all the struggles the Wehrmacht would go through the next few weeks. Now that every country in Africa is alert.

The Commandant ordered,

"American pilots, refuel at our tankers,"

The Commandant then said to the air wings,

"We have enough fuel to last us quite a while, let our comrades refuel first,"

The squadron leaders then responded,

"Yes sir,"

Out of Game: I wanted to write that about my character :(

U-1138 picked up the explosions of the aircraft carriers. "Be on the look out for the enemy sub."

sorry...

You can still write about it, I only wrote about maybe the first five seconds of went through the air wing's heads. There are massive oil slicks burning, the Nimitz has smoke pouring out of her forward hull and the Bush is capsizing but the vast majority of her crew is on the lifeboats, and well... probably only around 50 to 100 people would have survive from the Ford. Outof maybe a thousand.

We were leaving the combat zone and after getting out of range of most of their sonars we had found a little coastal shelf at around 1200 feet and sank our ship onto the sand. We had turned the submarine 90 degrees to increase coverage of our passive array. We died, again, everything was turned off, only a few lights were left on, the reactors nearly shut down, and everyone was in their bunks except for me and a few officers and crewmen. The ship was silent...like the dead.

"Sir we have a possible Sonar ping on the enemy sub. Coordinates mark-" The Kriegsmarine read off the coordinates. "I need comfirmation."

Shogun and Yamato Squadron looked down upon the pitiful site, debris are everywhere, and there is a large fire fueled by the jet fuel from the carriers. The Nimitz is burning and deeply scarred. There are numerous life boats that filled the oceans, the survivors of the tragedy. Every ship in the sector rushed to their aid. The air wings split up into countless flight groups of four to preform the missing man formation in groups of four to honor the dead.

Out of Game: Its okay, I just want to write about my character that is all.

We had heard the ping of an active sonar array. We got the bearing and the depth. After waking our sub up we proceeded to get our ship under way.

"All ahead full, where is the sub?!?"-Dimitri

"About 100 kilometers, German, we had heard it earlier, it's Alpha-2, we had sunk her sister Alpha-1 a while ago"-Sonar officer

"What is the bearing and course (bearing is what angle relative to my submarine where yours is at, course is what direction on a compass your ship is moving)"-Dimitri

"The bearing is 137, we are timing it for course and speed"-Sonar officer

"To hell with it, make turns for 35 knots"-Dimitri said

With that the two propellers accelerated the ship to the maximum silent speed of 35 knots, faster than any other submarine.

"Hopefully we can outrun it."-Dimitri said

"What if he tries to follow? the water is moving too fast around our array we cant hear a thing"-first officer

"I know, but if they follow they will suffer the same problem even worse, in one hour we will slow down and check, but for now lets try running away from him, if he follows than he will cavitate, set course for 0"-Dimitri

"course 0 aye sir"

The submarine began listing toward the right and began to turn lazily to course 0.

OOC: I dunno if you know this Omega, but submarines almost never use their active sonars. It may help them find other submarines but it is the equivolant of having two people with sniper rifles fighting in the middle of the night. To use sonar on a sub is like for one of those snipers to set off a flare. It pretty much announces not only you are there but what direction you are coming from.

"Sir. We got a live one! Shall we pursue?" "Negative, it isn't our fight."

The News: "Death in the Pacific. Several Aircraft Carriers were sunk by a Rusian submarine. Allied forces have dubbed it the 'Red Scare'. More as it comes in."

OUT OF GAME: Your sub is now infamous. :)

OUT OF GAME: We were running on top. We were actively pinging the aircraft carrier fleet and we picked you up as well.

The air wings left, with American planes a with them, refueling from the tankers, they flew towards the rising sun. Later, Japanese and American ships came to rescue the survivors.
