I think It'd make sense if you were in the general area we are in, maybe an ambassador, or temporary submariner. that way were all together, like one big happy family . What do you think Omega?
"Admiral Borris." Richtoffen saluted. "At ease. Report Captain." "U-1295 was sunk by the Russians." "You must do some reconnaisance and find this sub. Good luck Captain." "Thank you sir." Captain Richtoffen headed back to U-1138.
Yamato Squadron split up into three flight groups each preformed an air saluted over the wrecks of Zuikaku II. Yamato 6 then broke off and headed for Iwo Jima. The rest of the Yamato Squadron then headed for the air wing.
We were still trailing Alpha-2, watching...waiting... I wanted to know just what exactly what they are doing here. So long as Im trailing them they cant detect me.
"Here they come!" Just then a wave of enemy charged the German positions. "Fire with the MGs." The Machine guns opened up and began to drop enemy soldiers. But they kept coming.
OOC: Omega, the reason Im behind you is because sonar arrays actually have a 30 degree blind spot on the back of submarines. The reason is because the noise from the props at close range drowns it out. A submarine that is being trailed has practically no way to detect the enemy sub. And you can't calculate enemy range with the passive sonar array.
We decided to take it slower, we matched the Alpha-2's speed at 10 knots. At that speed we move so quietly there isn't any passive array that can hear us. We decided to take it safe and break off. We did a 180 and dived to 1000 feet and accelerated to 25 knots. At 1000 feet the density of the water enables you to move faster while remaining more silent with less cavitation. We dropped a passive sonobuoy so it would keep...watch on them, we'd get an update the next time we let loose our floating antennae or raised our radio mast.
