The missiles went for Yamato 1 through 4. Yamato 1 being Shogun himself.

"Fire vertical launch tube eight"-Dimitri
"aye sir"

With a tremendous expulsion of steam a missile was shot from the back of the Dimitriy and broke the surface, the massive rocket motor engaged when it broke the water. It charged into the atmosphere right before it would have left orbit the rocket turned around and fired off 10 smaller rockets back down to the same location where it was launched. Five minutes later 10 150 kiloton warheads went off anihalating the entire naval and aerial presence inside the area taking down the entire Kyoto air school F/A-22's

OOC: Just kidding. I just wanted to do that for sh1t's and gigles :p. It didnt really happen.

OUT OF GAME: I'm such a geek. The minute you said that I thought of Lando Calrissan. "Don't worry, Han'll get the shield generator down. Or this will be the shortest offensive ever." :D

actually you know the reason the whole strategy to wait until the last second never actually works in life even if the missile is approaching head on. The missiles typically can easily turn into enemy aircraft, plus they dont explode on contact, they basically have a charge that blow up within 15 feet of your aircraft and the shrapnel is enough to tear a plane to shreds.

By last possible second I didn't mean 2 meters from the aircraft, I meant the last possible second to initiate a successful maneuver, which is the correct way. If too late, then you are dead, if too early, then it will take too long to shake it or you might die.
 
omega, I think somehow we should have the invasion fail. At least for now. That way it'll give time for the war to really start up. I think an invasion of asia is a tad early

Out of Game: I agree, we can't smash North Korea just yet. Maybe Cthe PRC ( Communist China, remember there is a Republic of China, which is Taiwan plus Southern China which is with the free nations ) will mobilize and Japanese Forces will be ordered to retreat to fight them.

OUT OF GAME: Germany is attacking Africa to gain territory. They are staying out of the Commies vs Freeworld conflict. I posted this several times.
