OOC: Shogun, I cant aim which jet they go to, all I know is there are enemy jets, the missiles lock on to whichever one they want unless I have direct line of sight.

Yamato 3 shook off the missiles on him by flying extremly close to the surface and suddenly pulling up vertically, the blast from the engine triggered a wave which destroyed the missiles. Yamato 4 with the help of Yamato 8 shook of his.
Shogun then saw the warning for 24 missiles, two targeted at each of them save for Shogun, who only have one on him, and one is going for the AWACS. Shogun then headed for the AWACS to assist them, while the rest of the squadron are trying to shake off and intercept their missiles.

I am saving flares.But the missile was too close, there wasn't anything he could do. They were approaching head on, the awac tried to turn but it was too slow. The missile exploded and sent shrapnel through the cockpit and cabin killing them and than the fuel tanks caught on fire and the plane tumbled into the ocean.... there were no parachutes.
Shogun then decided it wasn't time to mourn over his defeat. He took advantage of the shrapnel and let the shrapnel destroy the missile on him, without damaging himself, using a J-turn and Cobra. Meanwhile, the rest of Yamato did extremely close barrel rolls with their wingman, and use flat scissors at a extremely close distance as one another. Yamato 6 and Yamato 8 still had one missile on them. Yamato 8, used the ocean like Yamato 3, and Yamato 6 preformed a Cobra Turn and fired flares, the missile exploded too close, damaging him.
Out of Game: It is not powergaming, because it takes 2 seconds to fire a missile and me a long time to evade them.
