(Hey, where'd you get the picture of my butt from? I thought I destroyed all the copies.)
I was lounging and enjoying my valium high; when, suddenly, Kunax barreled out of the woods and pushed us all into the water. My shock was so great at this, that I involuntarily relaxed my sphincter and the last of the valium dribbled out (eewww!)
I was still high and found myself not being able to swim. I heard murmuring all about me. I couldn't make out the words; but this was no time to try, as I was about to drown.
I panicked. I began flailing madly. Vainly, trying to reach the surface. My lungs were aching. Blossoms of light began to burst in my vision. No, I can't die this way!!!
I felt a strange, slithering sensation in my ear. Suddenly, I heard a clear voice, "Stand up, idiot. The water's only 2 feet deep."
I stood up, and sure enough, the water was quite shallow. I looked about and saw Padma and Jadedflower giggling and pointing. Ahh, yet another embarrassing moment. Perhaps I should become the village outcast? Nah, not enough village remains to be outcast from.
I looked about and saw the tiger looking at us from the far side of the pool. It looked at us with a strange glint in it's eye. It began to move towards us slowly, as if stalking us. Uh oh.
I prepared to throw myself on the tiger to defend the ladies, when I heard a strange voice in my ear. It gradually coalesced from the various pants and rumbles (and in some strange way from the tiger's very body motion).
"Let's play" it said. "C'mon, human, you played well enough last night. Let's do it again."
What was this? I could understand the tiger? What was happening? Was this more side effects from the mushrooms? Maybe trying them wasn't such a good idea.
I said to the tiger, "Not now, tiger, maybe later. We've got more important things to do than play."
The girls looked at me like I was losing my mind. But that didn't matter, it only mattered if the tiger understood. Unfortunately, it didn't appear to understand a word I was saying.
All was quiet, except for the panting of the tiger, the splashing of the waterfall, and the sounds of fish hitting flesh as the fish madly lept from the water as though they wished to be free of it's confines. Padma and Jadedflower were pelted with fish, as was the tiger. Oddly enough none seemed to come my way.
The tiger drew closer...
