Cera froze and asked seriously,

"What happened?"

Cera waited for Cecilia to stop sobbing, while wiping her own tears,

"I think we better go to the bridge,"

Cecilia said and then they headed towards he bridge. Vichi and ESSCPA soldiers were outside and hanger door, they straightened saluted as they passed them, Cera returned the salute. They went in the turbolift, it was a silent and solemn trip to the bridge.

"Officer on deck!"

Cera returned the salutes and sat down in her chair, the one beside her painfully empty.

"Captain, can you please bring up the video?"
 
They got in her speeder, he commented,

"Nice speeder," Rico said

"Thanks, the doctor's pay I get is not bad, and I have no obligations"

"I can see," Rico said and then said approvingly, "you maintain it really well, spend a lot of time on it?"

"Yeah, a bit, unusual for a girl right?"

"No no, not at all, pretty cool actually," he said with a slight smile,

"You really think so?"

"Yeah,"

"What kind of speeder do you have?"

Rico then said, "Only a Regality Princeps AT3OX,"

"Only?! Only?! Thats the best sports speeder out!"

"Yeah, but unlike you, I didn't buy it though, my parents did, I didn't earn it," he paused and said, "No pride in it, but I can't afford one, I'm unemployed technically, a student,"

She looked at him confused, he then smiled slightly and explained,

"I went to a private military academy for my training, my folks insisted on it, to give me a better chance to get a high ranking position. I was transfered to Magistrate Academy and then Royal Executioner Training Academy, they don't pay cadets, and I technically am not military legally,"

"Oh,"

"They give us paid leave though, ironic isn't it?"

"Yeah,"

"What does your parents do?"

"They are businesspeople, investors,"

"Thats pretty cool,"

"Nah, not really, boring the way I look at it, thats why I enlisted, but somewhere along the way, my dad managed to get hold of my paperwork and send me to a military academy,"

He then said,

"I will program the nav,"

"Right," she almost forgot about it.

He said teasingly,

"I can trust you to fly right?"

"You can't?"

"No, but your need practice,"

They then laughed and went on their way. Having a good conversation going and good laughs.
 
Forgot to mention, my guy used to have very dark blue hair, now he got his haired dyed and a hair cut :D
 
Are your people going to go after mine (the ones before you got captured) with the intention of trying to gain intel or capture someone to interrogate? Or just plain old revenge?
 
"So Adder, what's your story?" I asked

Cade, Kent, Adder, and I were eating breakfast.

"Lemme think, in a nutshell. I was born a twin, we were best friends, ended up being that I flunked the piloting exam by a point and was dropped from the academy. He passed and eventually graduated top of the class." he began

"That must burn" Kent said

"A bit, but after a while I decided to join the rebellion after my parents died. They were officers that had been sent to a planet over a year ago. I think they called it "Terra". Well, anyways, the government said that there was an infection native to the planet. But I call BS." he said

I started to remember, the guerrilla war on Terra. The one I had fought, personally.

"Oh?" Kent said

"Well, from what we've figured out was that some race wanted the planet. They attacked innocent civilians and people, from what I've been able to steal my dad died in an attack on his base, there was literally nothing left." he said

"Where was the base?" I asked

"The file said it was in a mountain basin." he said

I had a flash back. It was us, we attacked this holian base. I remember grabbing some guy, swinging him into the air, beat his brains out. The smoke, gunfire, death, it was in the air.

"Yah, you know what, I think, I think I'm gonna call it a night, cya all in the morning." I said

I still hadn't told anyone the truth, I just couldn't bring myself to do it. And after hearing that, hell I might have killed his parents. More importantly, I didn't even have most of my memories, I remember them like a dream. I only remember them when I experience something that wakes up the memory.

But most of all, I can't figure out who I was, Sutori or that guy in the memories.

I slammed my fist against the wall "Damn it!" I said.

We will be sent there by the military, the reason they give my guys is get revenge, but actual is to test the rebellion.
 
Can you skip the test part? That kind of stuff always bothers me in movies.

How should I put it, its like when someone calls you a self righteouss know it all prick...just kidding.

So essentially they get to take free shots at you, but you can't take any back. It belittles the person being 'tested' per say.

Every time I hear someone in a movie or book say "it was just a test" I cringe and want to turn it off, or shut it that instant.

Its not anything personal, its just a think I dislike in stories in general.

"Right, lets keep it up and the monarch will be dead in a year." she said

lol, V for Vendetta and Code Geass has a lot of that. I personally like that, but oh well. How about this, sending my squadron in there without adequate intel and backup.
 
Cera watched the footage of the ambush and the wreckage, released by those who claimed responsibility. They demanded that the Vichi Empire succeed all colonies ceded to them by the Treaty of Genesis. It happened only three days ago, the vi Yamatos escorted by the Knights of Saxony were on a royal visit to the Vichi frontier colonies, bordering the Holy Black Hole Empire. They crossed into Reformist League territory, however by UEA International Treaties and Laws, they had the right of passage and protection if they demanded it. They were met and ambushed by quite a large militia force. Not only did the RL not assist in vanquishing the militants, but they blockaded and surrounded the small Imperial convoy, and they just watched and allowed the rebels to destroy the convoy, killing the vi Yamatos and killing all but 4 Knights of Saxony, who they captured and was held hostage. She the read on her datapad the reports various Imperal intelligence agencies and intelligence from all the Earth Defense Union, not to forget ESSCPA's own. The armaments and equipment utilized by the militants have been identified as mostly Reformist League origin, military grade. With the heavy mobile suits they encountered on Garuda being Holian origin, and unidentified as suspected of being of Vereka and Vraja origin. No bodies were recovered from the ambush as they were completely obliterated.

She then read the reports on Relena vi Yamato, she disappeared just yesterday midday, she was about to present the official Imperial statement before the UEA Congress, pushing for sanctions on RL and diplomatic action instead of military to resolve the conflict with the RL to avoid a full out civil war. The Vichi Empire had the right to declare war multiple times over, but chose not to do so for they didn't want to see the UEA crumble to pieces. UEA and Vichi laws, and Earth Defense Union regulations could have justified any military action on the Reformist League.

She checked the time, the congress meeting Relena was due to attend is about to start.

"Imperial News Network, please,"

"Yes ma'am,"

The Imperial News Network's broadcast then came on the main viewer.

"Yesterday midday, Princess Relena vi Yamato went missing, before she was supposed to move for a sanction on the Reformist League and offer to use diplomatic rather then military action to resolve our conflict with the league. Imperial officials did not release any information on this yet, and have not released any statements as of now. As you may be aware, Princes Yorimoto vi Yamato and Princess Sakura Xenturia-vi Yamato were brutally ambushed and assassinated, while en route to a peaceful royal visit to the frontier colonies. The wound is still ripe from the death of a beloved prince and hero of the Empire, the Blitz of the Empire. The Reformist League was indeed involved and aided the terrorists responsible for this barbaric act. For those who would like to know more, we are doing a segment on it 8:00 PM GMT. We will go to Jim Lee, who is at the Genesis Imperial Palace, now to you Jim,"

"Thank you, Olivia. It was a big loss for the Empire and the Imperial Clan. His Majesty, Emperor Aethelwulf li Yamato, have released a statement earlier today, to express his genuine sorrow and grief in the loss of his son, his daughter-in-law, and now perhaps his granddaughter as well. He didn't release any statements regarding potential action against the Reformist League or the stance he is going to take. He was indeed devastated, as with the rest of the Imperial Clan."

"We will have a program devoted to the mourning of the loss of the Prince, and as insisted by the Emperor, every single victim of the terrorist attacks and to honor the heroes who defended the Empire against threats foreign and domestic, the Empire's finest, Jim"

"His Majesty also released an official statement confirming the identity of the Super Soldier, Captain Shogun Yamato. His Majesty confirmed the rumor that Captain Shogun Yamato, is indeed the son of His Highness the late Prince Yorimoto vi Yamato and Princess Sakura Xenturia-vi Yamato. His Majesty also confirmed that on Garuda, Prince Shogun vi Yamato and his Super Soldiers did appear in person and saved the colony quite frankly. He then also released a statement inviting the ESSCPA Super Soldiers to be knights of the Empire."

Cera and Cecilia then exchanged a nod.

"Oh sorry, Jim, it seems that our representatives will be entering the UEA Congressional Building, we will cut to there immediately, to UEA Congressional Building, Geneva"

"Hey tori." Adder said

"What adder? I narrowly dodged a missile

"Do you think we will ever see those two mechs again, the unknowns?" he asked

"Fuck" I said as I saw four more missiles incoming. Then I saw beams of light intercept and destroy them.

"Got your back." Cade said

"Thanks, and adder, I don't know what to think, it seems the holians have their hands on one. Hopefully the pilot had the sense to self destruct, but I doubt it. I'd rather blow up then get captured." I said

I swung with my sword and decapitated an enemy mech.

"Well, that's all of them, lets move on to the next level." Kent said

"Yah, let me take a piss." Adder said

"Too much information." I heard kim say over the comm

"Hey, I didn't know you were watching, big brother kim." Kent said

"Yah, well I've got nothing to do but sensor sweeps, this is entertaining." she said

"Wanna trade?" I asked

"Not on your life. And I mean it." she said seriously

I chuckled
 
"This is the fourth planet in three days, its insanity." Adder said

"Yah, yah, hey Adder, what do you think of the new module?" Kim said

"I love this thing, its like the universe holds it's breath before I pull the trigger." Adder said

"That's the idea." I said

The three half dead mechs and an executioner crept out from cover and openned fire.

I shifted my two left wings over my body into a shield protecting everything but my right arm, head, and leg.

The shorts just got absorbed by the wings.

"Fall back!" I heard one of the enemy mechs say

"No! stand your ground damnit!" the executioner pulled out an assault rifle with what looked like a small rocket launcher and started firing.

I phased out.

"Holy shit" one of them said, it was too late, my blade was halfway through his torso and it sliced through cleanly. I brought out my machine pistol with my left arm and held down the trigger firing dozens of rounds at the enemy mech no closer then 300 feet away. Mechanical guts and oil sprayed everywhere, including over my jet black mech.

"Your next" I said as I lunged for the executioner and the last mech.

Granddaughter is the MIA Relena vi Yamato.

He doesn't know Shogun missing yet.

Each branch has a prefix to their name. eg. vi, li, di, du, de, le, zi, yi .etc
 
They were just talking and laughing like a regular teenage couple, she asked,

"Hey, why did you decide to sign up as a pilot?"

"I didn't,"

"Huh?"

He laughed and then said,

"I put down the Mobile Marine Armored Corps, I was assigned to the Mobile Fighter Suit Corps, I'm serious,"

She laughed, and then said,

"How did you make Royal then?"

"Beats me, guess I'm just that good," he said smiling with humor.

"How about you, why did you become a doctor?"

"I wanted to save people,"

"Don't tell me...you made medical school because they needed people?" he said teasingly,

"Oh yeah...no, no, I graduated with honors,"
 
"Not bad, not bad, we both save people...in our own ways, you do it by healing them, I do it by...elimination of obstacles shall we say,"

She chuckled,

"Thats true, although it is pretty amazing that you made Royals and you are 16, must be pretty rare and pretty lonely,"

"Oh no, not at all, it is rare, but my squadron is an U18 squadron, unofficially that is," he the smiled and said, "Stardust Squadron, leading the rest,"
 
"Alright, I've finished with main bus C." I said

"How's it looking on your end Cade?" I continued

"All wired up, logistics back pack seems to work splendidly." Cade said

"That's good, lets power up the living space and the lifts next." I said
"Roger that, closing bus D, and E" he said

"Alright." I flicked on the light switch and the small lounge lit up.

"Sweet, one last thing to check." I said

I pushed off into an adjacent room and turned a knob, water started flowing.

"Hell ya, the shower works! Finally, no more sitting around in a cockpit for two days smelling like crap." I said joyfully

"Hey! I thought you were going to do the charge couplers first! You have some priority issues!" Cade said

"Yah yah, I'll head to that section after I check out the TV." I said

It was cramped in here, but not half bad all things considered.

"SUTORI!!!"

"Fine, fine." I said
 
The prince just delivered a spectacular, moving and powerful speech, he then ended with,

"My brother and sister-in-law's life was just taken away by those barbarians, and now my niece, your colleague is missing. However even those are insignificant, compared to the violent acts which have caused the deaths of countless honorable and hardworking, most of all innocent Vichi citizens. Not just the people of our Empire, but the people of the Earth Defense Union and it is our duty to defend them! Our efforts for peace have been trampled upon, now this is the end ladies and gentlemen, on behalf of the Imperial majesty, no, more importantly the people of the Vichi Empire, and that of the entire Earth Defense Union. I say this...peace is no longer a viable option, this is now a just and righteous war!"

Murmur and chatter began to rise in the congress.

"Do not be alarmed, we will respect the neutrality of any nation, and most importantly the preservation of Earth, I can assure you, we will not instigate any battles on Earth. Those who would like to join us, we will welcome as friends and valuable allies in the fight against evil. Those who chose to oppose us, farewell and good luck my friends, may we never have to meet on the ruthless fields of combat. The initial terms of surrender are that we demand all weapons and munitions plants, shipyards, or any group involved in some way, shape or form, the production of arms or vehicles, and the entire armed forces of the Reformist League be placed under EDU surveillance and supervision, and demand the Reformist League's aid in vanquishing the barbaric terrorists under the command and instruction of EDU forces."

Then the broadcaster spoke,

"Did you hear that? Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, we are going to war! All non-combatants please evacuate immediately for your own safety and concern, please evacuate! Do not panic citizens, we will triumph and our foes will perish!"
 
The RL representatives then lifted their hands to their earpieces and were horrified. The prince and the other EDU representatives smiled and left.

"Did I just hear right? Aleph have been destroyed?! What?!" the head Oceania representative yelled,

"Yes sir, it started falling apart the moment Schneizel el Yamato uttered war!"

"Dammit!"

The RL lost a large planetary ring around a resource planet, it contained major Research and Development and shipyards. It was a big blow to their stomachs,

"Dammit! They got the first move! We will get the last laugh!"
