They put on their helmets and stepped out of the turbolift, they arrived at the shuttle bay, the Athena already docked. Imperial Palace Guards stepped out first, they knelt down, then Cecilia stepped out of shuttle, Shogun and Cecilia took off their helmets, they didn't need to bow or kneel, Cera is her friend and mentor and Shogun her brother. Cecilia went up to Cera and hugged her,

"Haven't seen you in a long time,"

"Yeah it have been a while,"

She then had tears in her eyes, she couldn't express her full emotions at the hospital. She sad sobbing lightly,

"There were rumors that you two were dead,"

Cera then said in comfort,

"Well, we are all here, alive and well aren't we?"

"Yeah, I guess,"

She then help wiped Cecilia's tears and said,

"Thats all that matters right now,"

Shogun just stood by and watched, there was nothing he could do, but to just stand there.
 
"so what's the plan" I said

"There isn't one." Rosenthal said

"Well why the fuck not!" I yelled slamming my fist against the locker, it left a decent dent but my hand was bloody now.

"Look, go get some rest." Kim said

"I can't rest damnit!" I said and I threw myself through the door way.

"Stop it now sutori!" cade demanded

"Shut the hell up cade. I'm his wing man, we watch each other's backs. And I fucked up!" I said slamming my hand against the wall again, my hand only got bloodier.

"Grow up, we all miss him, we need to move on, if you go then were open to attack." Kent said

"I wasn't asking for you permission, I fucked up and now my wing man is going to G-d knows where right now and its my fault."

Kim came over and held me by the shoulders. She couldn't have been older then I was.
"It wasn't your fault, he went out too far, and you were both split up anyways." she said

I brushed her off. "It doesn't change the fact, I failed him, and I can't fail him again." I said with tears down my eyes.

I pushed myself down the hall and to where the armory was.

"What do we do now captain?" Kent said

"We can't let them have the mobile suit Adder has." Rosenthal said, she was obviously shaken.

"I hate to say it, but I have to agree with sutori." Kent said

"What?" Cade replied

"Well cade, the way it works is that your my wingman and I'm yours, were a team. A team is useless with only one man. If you were getting captured I'd run through hell and back to get you back." Kent said

"So what? Do we just let him take the wraith and go off on this vendetta?" Cade replied

"Either way he's gonna do it, and if we jail him we would just be shooting ourselves in the foot." Kim said

"So we are going to save him." Rosenthal said

"We need to start working out a plan." Kent said

"What do you mean? Those prisons are ridiculously well guarded." Cade said

"True, but the armor on the cockpits would take them at least a day to get through, and then they would hold him at some sort of engineering lab for technical assistance." Kent said

"That's irrelevent, there's no safe way in with our mechs." Cade said

"Well there is one, we could have one of us get captured." Kent said

"And then what?" Cade demanded

"I haven't figured that part out yet." Kent said

"Well please hurry." Rosenthal said

"Hey, sutori, what are you doing now?" charlie asked, he was the chief...well oldest engineer they had.

"I need to pop Adder out of jail and I think I need a new gun to help." I said

"What about the gattling gun?"

"They're dodging it. What do you think about a shotgun?" I asked

"the rate of fire would be terrible."

"yah, but at the range I fight at a shot could kill an enemy mech no problem. The issue I am having is that they are too close for the wrist blaster to help, but too far for the sword to be too effective." I said

"I'll think about it."

"Thanks" I replied.
 
He then said,

"I will show you to the spare quarters, you can pick the one you like, you can even have all of them if you want, I don't care,"

Cera and Cecilia looked at each other and then laughed, Shogun was confused, Cecilia ordered,

"Bring Athena back to my flagship, I will be fine on my own here, after all this is the flagship of the ESSCPA Super Soldiers and my brother,"

The Imperial Palace Guards looked at Shogun for some backup, Shogun just gave a I-don't-know-what-is-going-on shrug, and said

"She will be fine, we can take care of her, she will be safe,"

"Yes, my lord," they said to Shogun bowing and then turned to Cecilia and said,

"If you need us my lady...."

"I know where to find you," Cecilia said in a way that urged them to leave. They then boarded the Athena, Shogun said into his commlink,

"Open shuttle bay, Athena is leaving,"

"Yes sir,"

The Athena then flew out of sight, Cera then said grinning,

"She doesn't need to be assigned quarters, mine are more then big enough,"

Cecilia then said,

"Just make sure nobody," then narrowed her eyes at Shogun, "especially you, interrupts our sisterly bonding okay?"

Cera then said,

"If you even dare..."

"Yeah, yeah okay," Shogun said and then continued," I will leave you two alone then, I will be at the bridge, don't take too long getting yourselves settled, come to the bridge once you're done,"

Cera was really like a big sister to Cecilia, Shogun was glad, after all he is not the most socialable person around, and he figured being on a ship like this could get real old after a while for her, so it is good that she have some company, both of them.
 
Just a heads up guys, I'm going to bow out (woulda said so earlier, PC's been down a few days due to issues). Ya'll update too quickly for my schedule to allow me to keep up, sorry.

Correction....I was just on facebook, I was wrong, the main purpose of us going are not for Ontario Concert Band Festival.......it is to compete for an invitation for MusicFest Canada....we are going to fuckin' MusicFest Canada in May in we win...Holy Shit...should have practiced more....

All other years my school made it.....just hope we don't ruin it this year.....

Lol, I got friends that think that..... EDIT: they think playing rock band and guitar hero means they can actuallyplay the instrument

I can't play guitar, drums or sing lol........even in that game. I heard a band ( I forgot which one ) played their own song in that game, they crashed and burned ( well vocals did pretty good, but.... )

"Jared, we found something, or rather someone, I think you will be interested." commander shawn said

"What?" Lieutenant Jared said following him into a room

"We captured an enemy mech yesterday, here's the pilot." the commander said playing a video of adder strapped into a chair on the monitor.

"What of it?" Jared said

"Look." the commander said adjusting the dial bringing it in focus.

It now focused on his face, specifically the eyes. "Impossible, that's Adder." Jared said

"How?!? How do you know that?" the technicion said

"Look" Jared said and openned his eyes as wide as possible. "My eyes are blue on the right and red on the left, his are the opposite."

The technicion looked back and forth between him and the captive

"Can you be sure?" the commander said

"Yah, he's my twin, has to be. Were the only ones that have a red blue switch in the eyes." Jared said

"So what the hell is he doing with the rebels?" the commander demanded

"I have no idea, we haven't seen each other in years, I got into college and joined the army, he dropped out of school early on and ran away." Jared said in disbelief
 
"Gotcha, we will be there as soon as possible," Cecilia said,

Shogun was worried that her "as soon as possible" was forever. He then left the hanger, heading to the bridge, as he entered Minamoto reported,

"Sir, we sent the courses for every single ship in the fleet,"

Shogun then said,

"Good,"

He pressed a few buttons then stood up, this message was broadcasted to every single ship in the operation fleet,

"This is Admiral Prince Shogun vi Yamato, I hereby decree that the Operation to be commenced!"
 
Adder was tied up in a restraining jacket with a mask covering his eyes.

The door openned and he heard foot steps. "Who's there?" he asked

"Better yet, what the hell are you doing here Adder? What the hell are you doing with those scum?" Jared asked

"Is that you Jared?" adder was shocked

"Since when did you join the backstabbers of the holian guard?" Adder asked

Jared slapped him so hard the chair fell over with Adder in it.

"I'm asking the questions here. What were you doing in that mech?" Jared asked "We both know you can't fly worth a flying fuck."

"your wrong." adder yelled

"Pffft, you got kicked out of the military academy because you couldn't fly a shuttle without crashing into some asteroid." Jared said

"Well I've gotten a lot better. So what the hell are you doing with these backstabbers?" Adder yelled

Jared kicked him in the ribs to a satisfying crack and crunch. "I'm here to serve the people, your the liars, the scumbags. You should've stayed in your hole and rotted away." Jared said and walked out the door

Even though the mask hid it, Adder was crying, out of pain or something else he didn't know.

"Entering the atmosphere." Sutori said

"Roger"

He flipped a switch and pushed forwards on one of the throttles adjusting power distribution. Thanks to the neural interface all he had to do was think it and the wings came forwards and folded in front of the wraith and extended the feathers to shield it from the ensuing inferno.

"Three minutes to target" Kim said

"Roger that."

"Sir, were getting something on long range, its coming down from the atmosphere bearing 275, and its fast." the controller said

"Is it a mech?" Shawn said

"I can't tell yet"

"One minute to target" Kim said from the solitude

"Roger" Sutori said

The wings retracted backwards to flight position and as soon as that happened a torrent of fire erupted from the enemy base.

"Bastards!" I yelled over the come. I shifted through phase enough times to avoid getting hit and landed on the base sawing through turrets and mechs alike. The new shotgun folded over the edge of my mech's right arm and I extended it out (similar mechanics to Setsuna's blade, I just figured its a handy place for a shotgun, but its a lot shorter then setsuna's sword.)

I fired it into a cluster of enemy mechs and destroyed two of them. All of the sudden something grabbed my wing and I swung around with a sword and decapitated some mech's head off. But then the turrets switched and fired carbon steel nets. I cut through one, two, three, but four hit me across the arm restraining the sword, the fifth and sixth finished me off and several tanks fired grappling hooks dragging me to the ground.

The wraith was laying on it's side, like a beached whale.

"Sutori, are you alright?!" Kim said

"Not for long." I said and then switched off the comm.

"We've got it commander." the control tower operator said excitedly, people were cheering and clapping at the victory.

"Why would he be so stupid?" the commander thought

"Give me a transmitter" Shawn said

"aye sir"

A face appeared on the comm HUD, some commander, "Pilot, exit your mech now!"

"So long wraith, see you on the flip side." I shut down the mech, openned the hatch. I jumped to the ground and was surrounded on all sides by soldiers

I reached up and detached my helmet and just stood there. Until some soldier ran up behind me and nailed me on the back of the head with the butt of his gun.
