not really dragoon. I got the idea from the infinite justice's pack, but rather, have each engine have its own two wings and guns attached to the housing, have two mounted parrallel to each other and one more ontop so if you look from above the three engine inlets form the points of a triangle.

That drew a lot of attention, a bloody pilot embracing an imperial princess. Nobody there knew the blood-soaked pilot is an imperial prince and twin brother of said princess. The resemblence seem to escape the people present. He heard a few whistles nearby.

"It seems that I got your dress a bit blood-stained," Shogun said similing,

"Oh well, who cares, it have been a while.....oniisama," she said grinning,

"Yeah, it have," Shogun said
 
"So wait, those are natural?" Cade said

We were clustered around Adder's face, namely looking to his eyes.

"Can't be, contact lenses?" Kent asked

"No, there's no rim, genetic tinkering?" I said

"Seriously you guys, its real and natural." Adder said

He was talking about his eyes, the left eye was blue and the right one was red.

"Bull" I said

He lightly pushed himself away from us. "Although leave it to sutori to be the one to bring up genetic 'tinkering' as he calls it." Adder said

"Don't knock it till you try it." I said

Adder laughed

"Actually, you know what's even freakier." Adder said as he stopped himself on a wall.

"Here he comes, he gonna admit it." I said with a triumphant laugh

"Nah, just to deny you the satisfaction sutori." Adder said laughing as he pushed himself off the wall out the door.

I felt defeated. There was a bright flash of light and I spun around ready.

"Hah, good photo." Cade said

I looked and it and it was me looking very defeated. "That one's going up on the mission board." Kent said

"Not if I can bust it out of your camera" I said leaping at them, but Cade managed to wrestle me down. "Hurry and print it out." cade said

"Right" kent said

"bastards" I said laughing.
 
"Everybody was looking for you," Shogun knew she meant, he was being hunted down, "The RL have taken a shine on you lately, they are looking forward to meeting you," they both knew what was being said, Shogun smiled and said,

"Is that so?" Shogun then continued, "I guess I have to disappoint them, send them my best regards though,"

The surgeons came out of the operation room and bowed down to Shogun,

"Your highness, I didn't realize, forgive me...." one of the surgeons said,

Shogun smiled and said,

"It doesn't matter, you weren't informed, rise please,"

"Thank you my lord,"

Shogun then said,

"You all did well, thank you for the lives of the citizens you all saved, this applies to everyone in this building, the Empire is forever greatful for your service and sacrifices, the dead will no be forgotten, nor will be your deeds today, you have the thanks of the Empire and the Imperial Clan, the Empire and the Imperial Clan are in your debt, thank you, because of the sacrifices you all have made, the citizens of this colony will be able to see another sunrise of a new day,"

His words somehow ended up on speakers, to all in the hospital. Everyone snapped to a salute and knelt down,

"My lord!"

Shogun and his sister, bowed to everyone in the hospital,

"Please rise,"

Nobody rose, they waited for Shogun and Cecilia to stand straight first, when they realized everyone in the hospital insisted on it, the stood straight, and everyone rose.
 
"Hey sutori, what you doing?" Adder asked

"Throw me the auto spanner." I replied

He tossed me the tool from across the room, gotta love zero gravity

"You know, I've always had something of an aptitude for engineering and mechanics." I said

"Oh?" Adder said

"Yah, honestly I don't know if it was programmed in me or if its natural. But it just feels, right." I said

"Before I joined up with the rebellion I was in college trying to become a businessman." Adder said

"Hah, lucky you found us." I said

I was basically just openning up the inner components and making a few changes, mostly just getting rid of the lubricant and put in a new one that was a bit better suited to a zero gravity environment. Unfortunately it stuck like glue.

"Yah, though you gotta wonder..." Adder said almost mystified by the idea

"If we weren't here?" I said

"Yah"

"No idea, probably back in the scum hole I built my home, taking apart anything with more then two gears or a network connection." I said
 
Shogun got a wink from his sister, they won over the hearts of those here. It is not to say what he sad wasn't genuine, it is just that he did a good job saying it. He knew that when the bureatracts gets wind of this, everyone here will recieve commedations, well they deserved them and he didn't have time handing them out personally. He then went around to individual wards to speak to people, then he went to the bodies saluted them. He recieved a lot of respect in return. Then he said,

"Before I go, I want to talk to someone," Shogun said,

They went to the room where the man he just saved stayed, he saw a small group of pilots gathering in that room, they knelt down,

"Your highness!"

"Please rise,"

One of the pilots said,

"My lord, I heard you saved our comrade, thank you,"

Shogun smiled and said,

"I did my duty," he then looked at the patient and said, "so did he, it was the least I can do for his services to the Empire,"

Another then said,

"Your highness, were you the one that piloted the MS that saved us?"

Shogun smiled and said,

"That wasn't me alone, it was a group effort," he then continued, "Anyways, how is he doing?"

"He is stable sir, thanks to you,"

"No need to thank me, it was my pleasure to save a life,"

Another pilot then asked,

"My lord, I have a question, if you don't mind me asking,"

"Go ahead,"

"Are you the rumored Super Soldier Prince, Prince Shogun vi Yamato?"

Shogun hesitated a second, then he though this is his safe haven and if the pilot was actually a threat, which is very unlikely, he can take care of 'em.

"In the flesh," he smiled and said,

"It is an honor your highness,"

"Mine as well," Shogun responded, he then said, "I better get going, take care and please continue to keep the peace,"

"We will my lord,"

Shogun then walked outside and climbed into the MS, feeling good about himself.

"Cecilia, come to my ship, we will show you how we roll,"

"Sure, looking forward to that,"

He lifted off and flew towards the Amaterasu, which have just arrived.
 
"Damn, freeze dried food? Again?" Kent said

"It could be worse." Adder said

"How?" I asked

"I don't know." he said

we all laughed

"I suppose we could be dead, that would be worse." Adder said

"True, but this is a close second." Kent said
 
Shogun docked in his private hanger. He changed out of his blood-stained flight suit into his space combat armor. It was one of their amendments, all personnel must wear the appropriate combat armor while on duty. Therefore the Amaterasu's crew, just like other ships', now wear armor instead of uniforms. Uniforms are now for formal purposes only. He put on his helmet and sealed his suit. Their space combat armor is the best, there is simply no other that could match their's. Theirs, unlike other space combat armors, are light, nimble, mobile, and flexible, without compromising intregrity, stealth, sensors .etc He loaded his HKR ( High Kinetic Rifle ) and clipped it to his belt. He then got to the bridge, Captain Minamoto stood up and saluted,

"Sir!"

"At ease, Captain,"

Shogun then sat in his command chair, the highest in the bridge, with an empty seat beside him. He then got a transmission,

"Your highness, this is the shuttle Athena, requesting permission to dock,"

"Permission granted, welcome aboard,"

"Thank you, your highness,"

It was Cecilia's shuttle. Cera then walkd through the bridge door, just by the sound of her graceful strides and well the way she entered the bridge unannounced at all, he knew it was her. She sat to the chair beside him. She finally agreed to wearing space combat armor while on duty, at first she argued that she technically wasn't a member of the ESSCPA Special Forces, but after a while as time passed, that argument failed to work and lost its effect. She finally agreed to follow such procedure after a strenuous session of presuastion. However she insisted on wearing white and pink space combat armor, which Shogun thought looked great, but odd on the bridge.

"I heard Cecilia is coming," she said,

"Yeah, so did I," Shogun said sarcastically,

"Well anyways, I heard she even got her own command now,"

"You hear a lot of things," Shogun said with a chuckle then continued seriously, "yeah, funny how much the world changed since we left huh?"

"Funny how you sounded like an old man saying that," she said teasingly then continued, "yeah, so did we,"

"True, we all changed,"
 
"That's number seven." Cade said

Sutori in the wraith sliced another one across the torso.

"That's enough!" he heard someone yell across the open comm

Out of nowhere an enemy mech appeared it drew a sword and struck for my head, I got one of my wings up with the wing blade and it blocked it. It pushed the enemy's arm up leaving him open. "Not that trick" the enemy said and shot smoke bombs. I shot where its torso was but it was gone.

"Your not gonna make this easy." I said into the comm

We parried for what seemed like forever

fake
strike
block

"Eat this!" the enemy said and he brought up a pistol and fired it, I couldn't shield fast enough and the rounds exploded across the torso. Alarms blared into my ears

I brought up my left arm's shield and the energy shield extended across my body.

I had my sword in my right arm, and pulled it up with the gattling laser firing bolts.

"Too slow!" the enemy yelled and ducked to the left and below and flew past. I grabbed the sword and angled the blade backwards with my shield hand on the hilt.

"Die!" the enemy mech yelled as it tried to charge with the sword into my back

I forced the blade under my mech's left arm and into the body of the enemy mech directly behind me.

It penetrated straight into the reactor of the enemy mech which blew up behind me sending my mech flying.

"You alright sutori?" Kim said, she was the flight controller for my mech and Adder's

"yah, its just a flesh wound, sutori returning to the solitude." I said

"Roger that." she replied.
 
"Minamoto, you have the bridge, Cera come with me,"

"Alright," she said and got up from her seat,

Shogun then ordered,

"Set courses for the starting points of our operation, broadcast it to every ship,"

"Yes sir,"

They walked out of the bridge to the shuttle hanger, they got in the turbolift, Shogun then asked,

"How did the battle go?"

"We got what we went there for,"
 
"Hand me the arc spanner." I yelled

"Here you go." the engineer said

"Again?!" Adder said

"Stop obsessing over that mech." Cade said

"Its the only thing I have to do, I'm bored." I said.
 
"Were you comprimised in any way?"

"Shgoun, I know how to watch my back,"

Shogun took off his helmet smiled and said,

"Good, thank you, you did well,"

"Your welcome, your boys did a clean job as well," she said taking off her helmet and returning the smile. Shogun smiled on the inside, every time Cera smiled, he was mesmerized. He shook his head on the inside, and told them they were just friends. No, they weren't just friends, Shogun knew deep down they are more than just friends. He knew he could depend on her for the mission, she knew her stuff and did a clean job. They got the intel they needed for this operation, without her, frankly they couldn't hope to suceed in attacking such a well-defended facility. Shogun then said,

"Guess you are one of us now eh?"

"Yeah, I got mixed in with the bad bunch," she said teasingly
 
"Adder, your getting too far ahead!" I said


"Don't worry its fine!" Adder said

Three, four, he was killing a lot of them.

"Watch out!" Adder heard Kent yell over the comm

His longbow was rocked by explosions.

"Capture it!" someone said over an open comm

Claws shot from some of the enemy mechs and hit Adder's mech and grabbed it.

One of the enemy mech shot a net that encircled Adder's mech and electricuted the pilot.

"Adder!" was the last thing he heard

"Shit!" sutori yelled

he was too far away, they were too spread out to defend the solitude.

"Get out of my way!!!" I yelled as an enemy mech got in front of me, it drew its sword and I blocked it with mine. I saw an enemy frigate bearing down on me preparing to shoot massive nets.

"Not going to let you." I yelled

I pushed back from the enemy mech and after getting back a few hundred meters I unleashed my ace in the whole.

"Deploy positron phase cannon!" I yelled

The wraith's wings extended out as far as they could from the body and rotated such that they looked like a plus sign from the front of the mech. The leading edge of the wings were facing backwards with the bottom of the wings facing forwards.

lightning strarted to coarse throught the gold plated 'feathers'. The two rows of feathers on each wing openned up like a clamshell and they looked like flower petals.

"Firing!" I yelled

the wings fired a massive beam of epic proportions, shooting straight at the enemy position and I swept it back and forth anihalating half a dozen mechs and then I turned it on the enemy ship. I could hear the screams and yells "what the fuck is that!" and the beam sawed straight through the enemy frigate and it exploded in a mushroom cloud. The beam then evaporated into thin air.

The mech and I were linked and I felt incredibly drained, but I couldn't stop.

"Ill save you adder!" I yelled

I surged forwards

"Get back sutori!" Kim said

"I have to save him!" I said as I passed through another wing of enemy mechs and drawing my sword I sawed through one mech and another. I was enraged. I tried shooting enemy mechs with my gun but they had gotten too smart and avoided it.

I saw Adder's mech and it was too far. I was getting hit by enemy mechs left and right. All of the sudden Cade came out of nowhere and unleashed barrage after barrage killing the enemy mechs.

They were all gone, the frigate, the mechs, adder...

"Sorry Adder" I said crying

"I tried" I was sobing now.

"We'll get him back!" I yelled over the comm. "I swear to G-d I will get him back."
 
OOC: no, he actually gets captured.

I kept on trying to figure out how to not make it the same thing. But when it comes down to it, Im pretty sure gundam 00 weren't the first guys to think about using steel nets to captured something.
