What are the limits on weapons? What generation? How advanced... sorry if I am overloading you with questions.
Its all good, its fine. I don't mind you asking questions, it is a sign that you want in. Also it is good to know the guidelines before you join right?
The limits are no time travel that is a big one, and it is about like Fedr808 said about Voyager era, but it doesn't have to be based off voyager, for example I base mine off Macross and Gundam a lot, with a bit of Star Wars, Code Geass and ingenuity
I also think no teleporting.
The rule of thumb is that don't make it too advanced so we won't have an exciting story and tough problems to solve, but advanced enough. It is not the more powerful the better, it is the more interesting the better.
May I see the designs? Perhaps I can create an Ally species?
Well there isn't really specific designs, the overall shape is based off a ship is Star Trek ( dunno the name, never really watched Trek ), but we can make our own additions as long it is logical, such as the awesome Ops Room. You can create an ally species if you like, but it would be great if you would join us. I didn't watch much of Trek ( I watched a bit of Voyager on TV, and a bit of DS9 ) but it is quick to get used to. I will write up a short but sufficient summary and PM it to you.
