why are we under repair? The damage was superficial at most, nothing severe, not even minor damage, we could keep moving.

It is not, in this story, a 10 cm by 10 cm object can do it better than psionic, doesn't wear a person out ( my character needed additional psionic energy from 6 other people to hold out ), and is more powerful.

Internal systems damage, damage by fire and such...

We are repairing en route...do you think we are going to leave the damage if we can repair it?

It is not minor damage, it is moderate damage.

I'd disagree. I think moderate damage would be from maybe a light skirmish, remember, the only damage that was taken was when our thrusters were overpowered by the suction of the wormhole sucking us in.

An analogy would be what would happen if a truck were hooked up to a tank and had it's V8 engine running at full power and the tank is pulling it backwards. The truck would take some amount of damage because the engine is being stressed and the tires would be worn out.

that's basically what happened, we were the truck, the wormhole was the tank.

We haven't fully recovered from battle damage, an now this...so there is moderate damage, due to the failure to repair the previous damage and receiving new damage.

In Game:

He then played the Eine Kleine Nachtmusik, it is a great recreation to refresh his mind.
 
Dave motioned to the comms woman.
"BEEP. Comms, 1MC."
A tone sounded throughtout the ship.
"1MC, sir."
"BEEP. Attention crew of the endeavour, this is the captain. Many of you will be unaware that today is the birthday of the late Grand Admiral The Flemster. On Earth, they are holding a few small services to commemorate him and I feel we should do the same. all crew are entitled to one tot of SpaceRum or similar, as well as five hours ship's leave, in rotation, beginning now. There will be a ceremonial gun salute in a few moments. That is all."
He motioned for the comms to be cut.
"BEEP. Weps, load charges into the forward cannons and fire on my mark."
"Forward cannons loaded and charged, sir."
"BEEP. Very good. Weps, clear your guns, scatter spread, fire for effect."
"Firing." the weapons officer answered.

Outside the ship, a dazzling array of firework-style phosporous charges exploded arund the ship, bathing it in colourful lights.

(OOG: A bit self-indulgent but it really IS my birthday today, so I'm giving it to myself as a present!)

In Game:

Shin then finished the piece and then paused. His "similar" will be a small cup of red wine. He was about to consume a cup of Japanese Green Tea instead, but he decided to drink a small cup of wine to show his respect.

He then called the mess hall over the intercom,

"A small cup of red wine to my quarters please,"
 
Out of Game: From tomorrow till Saturday, I will be away at camp. So see ya people.
 
Out of Game: I am in my quarters, playing the piano.

In Game:

The doorbell rang. He opened the door, there was a small cup of wine on the plate, he smiled, took it and consumed it. He then said,

"For Admiral Flemster,"

He then put the cup back on the plate.

He saluted the crewman, the crewman returned the salute and left. Shin then decided to take a walk in the corridors.

out of game: How about a diesease that came in through a breach in the hull where I was working at in the lower hull? That can be what put me in a coma. We can have the main characters like fed, The Flemmster, Aki Ross (as the medic), Omega, Shin, and I might be able to figure out some way to get me back in......but please give any suggestions that you have for me. :D

Kato was working on the ship the longest of anyone, (not for any special purpose other than any pilot needs to get checked out in their vehicle, I am assuming that continues into starships, the reason I was there longer was because I was doing drills and other such things in spacedock.

If I say you guys are new I mean your "new" to my character, as in I haven't really talked with your characters.

Can we all PLEASE socialize somewhere, maybe ten forward? or actually an officer's meeting room.
