Savage Beating at McDonalds

Yeah, because those two chicks who attacked the "man" in that video will totally be okay with being in a bathroom full of men.

Why shouldn't they be? Or, why would their presumed preference there be any more important than a similar preference on the part of a transgender woman? Because they're cisgendered?

Also bear in mind that my point was not that transgendered peoples' preferences for who is in the bathroom with them are important. It was that transgender people have a legitimate fear of assault/rape if they use the "wrong" bathroom. I see no realistic contention that such a consideration applies to cisgendered women. Nor that simple preferences about who else is in a bathroom with you are on the same level as fears for your personal safety.

You have, to put it finely, completely missed the boat, there.

All I said is that it's interesting... because it's the exact opposite of what one would expect.

how are you going to expect that from anyone for any reason? the least of reasons i think would be race. i disagree with your comment. i don't think it's interesting at all.

Okay, I'm not trying to be bigoted here...but this is what I've observed:

The African American community really seems to be more socially conservative when it comes to LGBT's

So it actually surprises me less.

Yea I agree. You're not bigoted:

You guys make me sick.

Why?
Because we noticed nonwhites are more socially conservative?

Ok, WHY would you expect the exact opposite?

I Am Officially Not Getting This.

Missoula is progressive when it comes to the LGBT community Chimpkin . We past and ordinance that made national recognition last year. It was an ordinance that stated an employer could not discriminate when it came to your sexuality. I agreed 100% as not to many did , but the city council did and they had my support . The Church community came unhinged over it , but at last they lost in the end . They may still be mad , but there noises have been silenced and the fight was victorious for the LGBT community . Google "Missoula Not in my Bathroom " and you can get the whole low-down .

A video of two women beating another women to the point that she's bleeding from the head and goes into a seizure at a McDonalds as a crowd watches and does nothing to help has gone viral. Worse yet, the Person recording the video (a McDonalds employee) is heard repeatedly telling the attackers to flee before the police arrive as the victim lies on the floor bleeding and having a seizure.

Here's the video:

Apparently, the victim was a transsexual and the crowd can actually be heard chanting "Beat that Trans woman!".

Should McDonalds (and/or the police) take action against the employees who not only didn't help the victim, but actually cheered on the attackers and aided in their escape?

if it happened here, YES. The law is actually quite clear that all workers have a duty of care, if the person died the staff could theoretically be charged with manslaughter. How do i know this? i recently did a class on duty of care under SA law, all workers, especially anyone who recives money for supervising, OH&S and\or first aid. Further more you have a duty of care to a spouse, a child and i forget the rest of the list (its quite long, the spouse stuck out because it irritated me that if one partner comits suicide because of a mental illness or even because of a terminal illness then the partner could be charged with manslaughter)

if i was there i would have pulled my gun on the 2 "i have CCW" or i just would have knocked the 2 biches out tied them up and called the cops

that shit got my heart racing just sitting here
