A man rests inside the national mosque as he waits to break fast during Ramadan in Dhaka August 18, 2010. Muslims around the world abstain from eating, drinking and sexual relations from sunrise to sunset during Ramadan, the holiest month in the Islamic calendar.

Which out-of-the-way corner of that mosque have they pushed the women into during the holiest month?

imagine if women and men pray together, for example a man is behind a woman, and that woman went to the ground, as a part of the pray, i don't know the english word

like that i mùean, and the man will start looking at her ass! and not praying

All men, no women.

Women are not obligated to pray by Jama'a or in the mosque so you will not find them praying on the streets or in a mosque unless they choose to do so. The only place I have seen women in a mosque is in Saudi Arabia, in the Haram Sharif. Men must pray Jama'a at least on Friday afternoon and since more people go devout in Ramadan, there are spillovers onto the streets like in the picture of Srinagar. Usually, you don't see men praying on the streets either.

I am pretty content with the segregation of sexes during religious worship. Funny how Jews do the same damn thing and no one says a word. Muslims do it and oh em gee.

in what you mean not just praying? do you mean the inecaulity? that depends on the country politics not relegion..

So, tell me then, why would men and women need to be separated for praying, from a political standpoint?

So, is that the extent of your focus when you are praying, that a woman's ass, which you can't see at all because it's covered over in a tent, can distract you away from your god? How very weak minded and superficial of you.

What's really funny is that you assume other religions aren't just as wacky as yours. Perhaps, you're content of being around men more than women is a sign of homosexuality?

Or it's a sign that during religious worship I rather pay to attention to God without distraction.

This is idiotic.

there is no political standpoint...what does relate relegion to politics??
if men pray with women mixed, it then men want be praying, or praying to pray, they would be praying to look at the women asses :p if a hot woman is praying infront of you, your eyes will go to her body or something lol.

So, a woman sitting next to you dressed in a tent is distracting you away from your god, but a man sitting next to you doesn't?

I am not homosexual, I'm sorry, no amount of wishing on your part is going to change this, I know you wish I was, I realize you have obssession with me, I realize I probably cream your jeans. It's a natural reaction but you're going to have to deal with it like everyone else. I know, I'm a big deal.
