It's not my kind of thing but they're free to do it.

I'm a kind of live and let live guy too, but I don't think parents would want their kids seeing that, so I don't think they should be free to do that in plain sight.
I ask because I saw a couple snogging [which is french kissing] while waiting in a movie ticket line and the people with me thought it showed poor taste. They were young kids, so I could not see it as offensive. I just wondered what the consensus might be on this.
But I'm talking out of my ass so I'm sure you can undoubtedly poke a few holes through that.
It depends. Kissing is one thing. But when I see two people with their tongues down each others throats and virtually dry humping each other in public, then the thought of 'there's a time and place for everything' comes to mind and the desire to tell them to 'get a room' is strong.
phlogistician said:Yes, you are. You don't want kids asking awkward questions at an early age, or talking about what what they saw, or even worse, if you make a joke of it, and make out like it's harmless fun, trying it for themselves.
How much PDA is acceptable, according to you?
When I said joke around, I meant in general and not about the sex itself. ie., grab their attention with something else. Your points are valid though, but I'm hesitant to agree completely simply due to the fact that I have no experience in this department. I'd have to hear more from parents.
