Its a reality whether we like it or not. My grandmother died, I wasn't happy about it but that was the reality. To hand wring is simply a matter of not accepting what is.
Liking or not liking what is doesn't change it one bit.

it's also not the same as denial, and often results in wrongdoings, like abortions for instance.

All right, I am done being reasonable. Or what passes for reasonable. Stop fucking calling it a wrongdoing. It's my body and maintaining control of it is not a wrongdoing. Women are people. They are not incubators.

it does when you're making a decision as to whether or not to kill something or someone.

then why do you have a uterus?

and i was wrong.

You felt you were wrong but many make the same decision without regret.

You would agree that the decision is individual and personal yes? Well then you would also agree that what people will regret in their lives will be individual

Lori, do you have kids?

nope. the only time i've ever been pregnant, i had an abortion. when i was younger, i was on the pill for 17 years or so, then i stopped having sex for a great while. now i'm married and not using birth control, with plans on becoming foster parents.

yes, but i don't agree that wrongdoing always results in regret.

YOU think its a wrongdoing, the opinion no matter which way is not going to be universally held. There's a legion of men and women who would disagree with you, myself included.

You are free to think what you like. My advice then would be if you ever get pregnant again don't abort it. Its a no brainer.

Yeah...apparently, Lori thinks women should accept that reproductive biology comes first and women's wishes for their own lives come second.

Wrongdoing for the win, man. :)
