nothing is being done that is close to what happened to the jews during that time period

i must add that after lebanon(2000) israel stopped the production of the system, against the common sense, mainly because the government thought it was no longer required. now we pay the price.

of course i know what billy t will say on this, so ill say it was a dumb decision. and many individuals in the defense circles thought the same. but politics as in politics, our politicians dont care about us really-the palis are shooting rockets and our PM is only interested in making sure he will stay in office. sad. very sad.

Inever said it was close to what happened. Please re-read waht I said.

I do not know the number of innocent that Israel has killed, but lets guess 10,000. What I said is that killing innocents in lager scale WITHOUT ANY JUSTIFICATION (i.e they did not kill any one on "your side") is "morally the same" as killing many more or only 100 for any state to do. Here are my exact words again:

"Without any Israeli deaths, what is being done to the Palestinians is same morally as what Hitler did to the Jews."

10,000???? shows how much you know. of course despite the fact you are a PHD you are a common moron.

...what, nothing to say about the fact you didnt like my opinions so you tried to make everyone ignore me?
yes when you initiall appeared at sicforums, making a many dozens of strongly Pro-Israel posts every day it happen to be when Israel hired a bunch of college kids to do PR work on the internet, so I did think you were one. I later thought you were not, but sincerely expressing your own POV. As you seem to be here active at least 10 hours each day seven days a week I am again comming to the suspission that you are a paid Israeli agent (or like me rich and retired)* I.e. posting here is your full time job.

One link seems to be about lasers - I worked a little on the HCN and "gas dynamic" lasers and had contact with the US' secret tests of them for burning holes in threats. One was mounted in a high flying jet as even without clouds the atmospheric heating of ground based units and/ or turbulence of planes air stream made the beam wander as it passed thru the hotter and less dense (optically also) air.

All in all, it did not look very practical to me. I thought that the HCN (that is cyanide) was likely to kill more of “us” than “them.” As far as killing the simple Gaza rocket the 40 year old first generation CIWS that Israel removed from its war ships about 30 years ago is "overkill" and unlike lasers, an “all weather” (fog, clouds etc. no problem) radar-controlled, rapid-fire, automatic, gun system.

---------------
*But I have another life - I was not here for two days this week and usually miss a couple every week, even if retired. - You are always here and too young to be retired. What is reasonable to conclude from these facts? I have restrained from making this observation but three times now you have insisted that I comment on it, so I did finally. I need to stop soon, but will try to get to your posted links soon.

i was never here for 10 hours seven days a week-im usually here on weekends when i got the time. of course it doesnt change the fact you accused me on something only based on assumptions with out evidence, and you were so sure about that you tried to made everyone else ignore me like you did.

i mean, what, how old are you? you cant stand behind your mistakes? after all this time you are still a jerk.

if they were a viable solution to rocket attack of that range and speed we would have probably used them by now-so im guessing they are not....

I read in some military apocrypha that if you don't piss people off, they are less prone to hurling missiles dangerously.

Hypocrisy.

lets look at it this way,

we tried to make peace. we pulled out the settlements and the army from gaza. we supply the palestinians with everything. the result is a hamas coupe, rockets and a war with hezbullah.

now, we get blamed for hamas actions, we get blamed for the rockets being fired, we get blamed that the pull out was some elaborate scheme, we get blamed for the absence of peace, we get blamed for about everything wrong with the conflict where the palestinians as "natives can kill us as much as their like" without any responsibility for their actions.

so not only no matter what will do is not good enough, but our very presence here is the problem.

so as i see it, either we go back to europe and the arab nations were jews were persecuted, or we can ensure what we think is our right to live in our own country. its obvious what the choice is to me. of course the arabs perceive us as some weak jews who are easy to defeat, but "you can expect a roman to act like a roman".

you rounded them up into ghettos, and who would have guessed, but they're still bloody angry and out-fucking you like logger-rythms.

those ghettos were created by egypt and jordan who controlled the west bank and gaza from 48 to 67. their plan however, have they succeeded in 48, was to kill every single jew in israel.

it was the arab countries that warned them they should flee because 7 arab armies were heading this way.

"it was the arab countries that warned them they should flee because 7 arab armies were heading this way."

The only difference is that you could have welcomed them into Jerusalem at less cost then.

Cut someone off? How unforgiveable! You cut me off, you bastard.

Do you think it's normal politics to behave like hothead rednecks in a traffic accident?

Or sociable nationalists?

Or just decent, multi-ethnic neighbors?

Where is the emoticon for a cupped hand, fingertips touching together skyward, eh?

:shaking that emoticon:

maybe you should ask the palestinians that question. after all you blamed us for not giving them access to jerusalem, where they are the ones who prevented that from us.
