Mafia - the forum game

I just come shortly because I need to take my lunch at home :p

This conversation has made me more certain that Inzomnia and Asguard are mobsters.
She eliminated two townspeople in one go if VI turns out to be innocent.

- Asguard makes Inzomnia doctor.
- Inzomnia unvotes Asguard seconds before nightfall.
- This results in SAMs arrest (innocent).
- VI and Asguard are hit during the night.
- Inzomnia saves Asguard, resulting in VI's death.

IF VI was innocent imo Asguard and Inzomnia are obviously mob.
Or at least Asguard, and Inzomnia was suckered into all of this..

How many times I should tell you, I can only save 1 (ONE) person, whereas
the are 2 to be saved, and my options were:
- the PI who rarely online, nobody knows who she is, of course she could be the townpeople
- Asguard who can appoint BOH as a cop

My reason to save Asguard is because I can trust BOH more than PI
(I have no clue about the PI), whereas the job of the cop is the same with
PI. You, on the other hand, have no clue whether the former cop is
innocent or not, whereas you have only chance to save 2 (in which you could
save BOH or any other person whom you think you can trust). At least we can
rely on BOH investigation now.

I have also requested BOH to investigate me so that he could clear my name.
Why he prefers to investigate Skaught is beyond my thought.

People also suspected me for whoever I voted. In the first day I switched
my vote from SAM to you, and people think my move was illogical (I could
save myself if I voted SAM). But as I said, in my logic at that time, I had no
reason to suspect SAM, why should I vote her just because she has already
got many votes. And then people (I think BOH included) analyze that SAM is
my mafia friend. Now we all see that SAM is innocent. So, pls, don't make
conclusion just based on who we voted. For all I know, we could all have
mistakenly vote innocent one.

I gotta go back to Uni, bye for now

You suspected Asguard, you said so yourself. Then you suddenly unvoted him so that SAM got arrested.
Then you saved Asguard the next day, what happened to your suspicions ?

And oh, another thing. The whole 2 killed victims are really surprising. We know that
there are 16 players, and we never really know how many who are mafia and
how many who are not. As mafia can only kill 1 person per night, could it be that
there are 2 groups of mafia?

Perhaps if they are evenly distributed:
- 6 town people
- 5 mafia group I
- 5 mafia group II

Or something like:
- 10 town people
- 3 mafia group I
- 3 mafia group II

Or any other combination.

On the first day there are only 1 victim (the cop). My guess is that if there are
2 mafia groups, both of them perhaps choose the same victim (the cop).

I afraid that if my analysis is true, there could be another 2 victim killed tonight.

YOur thought????

Gotta catch train, ciao ciao

If Asguard is a mob he will not appoint me as doctor. Unless he wanted to
manipulate me. I could not know for now.

So you blame ME for unvoting Asguard and causing SAM arrested, but you do
not blame ALL OTHER 5 PEOPLE who arrest SAM?

I can't vote unless I fell sure. I voted neither Asguard NOR S.A.M.

Whatever you said now, I cant reply, otherwise I'll be late, byeeeeeeee

Huh ?
I think James made perfectly clear that there were 10 villagers and 5 mobsters.
On extra player arrived today, the Hobo. I assume he's a villager because it would be kinda unfair to make him mobster.
James also made perfectly clear that there were two people killed last night because one of the mobsters has a hidden ability.
For someone that claims to have read through the whole thread on multiple occasions you know disturbingly little, unless it's some trick to let us think you are unaware of the amount of mobsters etc and thus innocent.

Undoubtedly there were mobsters among those other 5 players, the villagers may have been persuaded by the mobsters to vote for SAM.

You left out that you unvoted Asguard SECONDS before nightfall so you could have the final say.
It was SAM 5 and Asguard 5.
Unvoting Asguard was the only thing you could do to make sure that SAM got arrested without voting for her yourself.

Shouldn't it be nighttime? Or at least twilight? I guess James must not have come on today...

Yeah --- it is nighttime (begins running around puzzled)
The sun is still shining!! It's the end of the world!! The rapture has arrived!! :runaway:

Hmm.. If Norse isn't it, then I will have no choice but to target B0H.. Dom isn't mafia.. But his thoughts might make me suspicious..

I've just had a VERY busy day at work IRL, so haven't been able to drop in at all. I notice that several players have PMed me about various actions (e.g. police investigations etc.) that require a response from me.

I am now in the process of reading the thread, but I think it would be fair to extend the voting deadline for 12 hours or so, once I give everybody the information they are entitled to; that will allow time for digestion and more discussion. Also, a couple of people have sent messages saying they won't be here for today's vote at the original deadline, so that's another possible reason for delay.

I am just about to read the thread to catch up on things, and will reply to PMs in the next hour or so.

Provisionally, I will set the new voting deadline about 12 hours from the time of this post, that is:

Wednesday August 27, 1 am UT.

I also know that certain player actions have taken place. I'll confirm those in the next hour, too.

Fuck life. I aren't a mobster I tell you!!

Can't trust anyone.. Plus, It's not my life at stake.
The only people I'm sure are not mafia is Emnos, and inzomania, primarily because they debated their decisions, and also because Emnos got switched, by the mayor, who if he is mafia wouldn't switch one of his mates for another.

Unless we get some extremely life changing news 2 hours would be good
