However, consider the irony. You claim to be able to 'sort the wheat from the chaff' when it comes to discussing GR. Yet stumble badly when venturing to make a connection at the basic SR level. Something is amiss there. Things do not add up. You are a pretentious phoney. Moreover continually flouting forum rules yet with evident impunity and indeed immunity. Such are things at SF. Sigh.

Should have gotten it off your chest when still reasonably fresh - and as I suggested back then, in a new thread begun in Cesspool. Still, we're here now and given mods don't seem to mind such derailing tactics, I'll play ball.

So I listened from your suggested 16:28 till, at ~ 16:32 mark, Lazar clearly says 'element 115'. And, for good measure repeats it at ~ 17:28 - 'element 115'. Crisp and clear - both times. Yet you somehow hear him 'almost say element 118'? Hmm.....perhaps a case of wanting something really bad. Too bad.
Look, I do understand that someone like Lazar can put on a really good act. And keep it up for decades. Doesn't alter the fact - BS is BS. The really intriguing question for me is, could Lazar get away with such BS for so long unless he was in fact a paid and trained black ops/psyops disinfo agent. And be part of an agenda to flush out and identify anyone with actual useful 'new physics' info? Who might be inclined to contact and confide in Lazar as bait? Or just sowing general disinfo as distraction? Or maybe just a huckster without conscience making a reasonable income off of paid interviews, appearances, books, DVD's etc? Anybody's guess.

The irony is the fact that someone who opposes GR and has had a thread ranting about the same, moved to the fringes, wants to be the forum vessel of knowledge. Sorry, this is science, and I'll adhere to it to the best of my ability.

What's more, when paddoboy made such insinuations some time back, I repeatedly challenged him to put up or shut up. Reminding him on more than one occasion it would be quick and simple to just PM admin and get confirmation either way. Naturally, the low-life declined to do so, but even now continues the insinuation. It's hard to get much lower, but that turd knows he has 'protected status', and takes full advantage of it. I renew the challenge. Make good paddoboy; contact admin and get definite clarification as to whether your low insinuation I am a sock-puppet of undefined is true or not. Light is part of the electromagnetic spectrum, which ranges from radio waves to gamma rays. Electromagnetic radiation waves, as their names suggest are fluctuations of electric and magnetic fields, which can transport energy from one location to another. A photon is the smallest quantity (quantum) of energy which can be transported and it was the realization that light travelled in discrete quanta that was the origins of Quantum Theory.

It is no accident that humans can ‘see’ light. The detection of light is a very powerful tool for probing the universe around us. As light interacts with matter it can be become altered and by studying light that has originated or interacted with matter, many of the properties of that matter can be determined. It is through the study of light that for example we can understand the composition of the stars light years away or watch the processes that occur in the living cell as they happen

Matter is composed of atoms, ions or molecules and it is light’s interaction with matter which gives rise to the various phenomena which can help us understand the nature of matter. The atoms, ions or molecules have defined energy levels usually associated with energy levels that electrons in the matter can hold. Light can be generated by the matter or a photon of light can interact with the energy levels in a number of ways.

We can represent the energy levels in a diagram known as a Jablonski diagram. An example of one is shown in the diagram above. An atom or molecule in the lowest energy state possible known as the ground state can absorb a photon which will allow the atom or molecule to be raised to a higher energy level state or become excited. Hence the matter can absorb light of characteristic wavelengths such as the blue light in the example on the left or the violet light in the example on the right. The atom or molecule won't stay in an excited state so it relaxes back to the ground state by several ways. In the example on the left, the atom or molecule emits two photons both of lower energy that the absorbed photon. The photons emitted will be a characteristic energy appropriate for a particular atom or compound and so by studying the light emission the matter under investigation can be determined. In the example on the right the excited atom or molecule initially loses energy by not emitting a photon and instead relaxes to the lower energy state by internal processes which typically heat up the matter.
