Is it immoral to sleep with prostitute?

No legalizing is wrong and harsh punishments are also wrong. Token and up to nominal penalties are better. You will never stop the illegal aspect of prostitution because the criminal element will always be there. If people didnt support it financially it would disappear though.

You don't have to legalize it, its been going on as long as written history.

Then stop frequenting them:shrug:

Do you know for sure that she doesn't? Or do you know that some do and some do not?
How do I know?
Try asking a prostitute what she likes about her job or even what she thinks prostitutes all over the world like about their job.

They call it the "oldest profession" because not a lot has changed you know ...

Like I said, those who set the terms own the onus. It is up to you to show evidence of your own opinion.
You're of the opinion that prostitutes don't despise their clients.
I am of the opinion that they do
(although I 'm pretty sure that if I said the sky was blue you would contend that too)

I cited my experience working in a soup kitchen.
You have cited that you don't imagine prostitutes despise their clients, that you don't imagine they would frequent a soup kitchen, that you don't imagine people in a red light district can afford a prostitute and that you imagine at a certain degree and level they're having a ball (... there goes your image of crusading the cause for women's rights in poor countries by the way).

So aside from your imagination, do you have anything else to back up your opinion?

Don't know if saint was one their clients, but if he was, then yes.

For all you know, saint could be a she.

I don't know is there? What do you know of the difference between call girls and the value/bulk prostitute? I'm amazed at the experience of those who profess moral indignation. Please inform us of the difference.
You have to understand Lucy, they must be speaking from personal experience.

;)

Its not about what other's would think or like about the job. I'm asking what gives you the right to speak for women who work in the job. Why would 'they' call it the oldest profession, that label is placed within society in general. Its called a profession because for many it is.

What made you so special LG that you know what they thought of their customers? Did you know their pimps as well? Did you ever meet these women?

They charge at least 750 Euros' a night they advertise. Are you also speaking for them?

I'm convinced now that their obsession is placed within the framework of what they would like, what they have and have not, experienced or what they would like to...mostly what they would like to...

I mean really:rolleyes:

Why else would men of healthy sex lives project themselves so much to these subjects that always lead to a woman's vagina?

By the way he has a dissertation directed towards u in the abortion thread. Ha!

The reason I asked is because you don't have to scratch the surface much to get them going on about the glories of their client base.

I'm asking what gives you the right to speak for women who work in the job.
I am saying that they despise their clients, based on what they are only to happy to confide.

You don't have to be special - they will tell practically anyone (unless they are trying to dress you as a client of course)

Did you know their pimps as well?
a few

even if you think that's the archetypal prostitute (cough cough), you must be of pretty shallow values if you think getting paid more will change anything.

@LG

LG: The reason I asked is because you don't have to scratch the surface much to get them going on about the glories of their client base.

And I should take you who hates both sex and women as a measure of opinion.

How does that count? There are women whom have other things to say.

LG: You don't have to be special - they will tell practically anyone (unless they are trying to dress you as a client of course)

I know right, they would have to be desperate to confide to you.

(cough, cough) do you have evidence that it doesn't?

Lucy is living in a fantasy world. 750 euro's a night mean nothing to someone making 20-30 per client who stinks of booze or may be out of their skulls on drugs. Save your stupid music videos too...i can find them myself.

ask them
they're not shy about it

(If you try and talk the nonsense you do here they might give you a clip in the ear though)

certainly saves having to rely on one's imagination to guess what a prostitute would confide to one if one ever had the dignity to talk to them as a human being, huh?

think of it like this - how much money would you have to be paid to not despise me?
;)
