Is it a sin to seek knowledge?

i have nothing to say about abortion. i believe the texts are more susceptible to change the farther back it's written. and old testament is very old.

Yet Jesus endorsed it's immoral divorce law.

Why do you rely on Jesus when he shows poor morals?

Do you think you need a savior?

Most people don't know.

I do not agree.

I think we all know what love is as we are a kind and altruistic species.

It is just that religious lies have helped sheeple corrupt the meaning.

All goats know what real love is as they have not let the faith of fools cloud their thinking.

Therein lies the greatest evil of religions.

Seems you're saying they know but they don't know.

I am saying that literalist Christians especially, as well as many left wingers, cannot see past their church imposed bias and poor interpretation of the text. They know it for their away from the church life, but not when they are thinking of their religion.

Christians know for instance, that they can and do forgive sin without a blood sacrifice, yet when in church, they adore a vile immoral God who will not forgive without a blood sacrifice.

Christians know for instance, that tyranny is a poor form of government that they would never vote for yet wish for the tyranny of heaven after death.

Those types of conflicting double moral standards that their faith creates is why Christianity and Islam are such immoral creeds.

and later when you found out you just had to knock him out to save the world was it still wrong to kill him?

No.

One must work with whatever information is at hand.

We could add all kinds of information later, like the button was defective but that just fudges things without changing the original premise.

We could do that forever so why not just tell us if you do not agree with the initial moral decision or not?

That or ask the question you really want to ask without all the mucking about.

what i'm saying is it was the perfect thing to do at the time, afterwards when you go in a similar situation you'd likely do better

Then use their dogma and not the Gnostic Christian one as you are making Christians look like fools and they certainly do not need your help on that score.

ill use whatever dogma i feel is correct, if you believe christians are fools then you certainly seem to think yourself more then you are
