If you were god what would you do differently?

I would create people perfectly, rather than saying I created them perfectly but in reality not creating them good enough to make perfect decisions (Aka: choosing to listen to a talking snake and eating evil fruit... maybe if people were made a bit better they would have figured out that was a bad idea).

Also I would turn all water into sarsperilla cordial. I don't care about the negative impacts I would do it anyway because it would be delicious... right up to the point all the crops die out and we starve to death... but yum!

I'm tempted to say that the more interesting exercise would be guessing how each of the usual suspects--myself included--might respond.

Well, there. I've went and said it.

The short answer would be "Almost everything." The longer answer is in fact too long, so let me just give a more refined answer, if nearly as short. I would push the timeline of human existence back. Knowing what we know now--that a civilization to rise up a trillion years from now will make all of the same scientific discoveries we have, formulate all the same hypotheses, do everything right, and still come to the false conclusion that the universe consists of our galaxy and nothing else--I can only wonder what truths we have lost forever in being alive during this particular age.

Play the lotto, do a lot of off track betting, not send my only begotten son to down among the savages!

Leave predation out of the possible range of relationships between living things.

If that didn't work, zap any ape I caught sharpening a stick.

Being God implies having worshipers. I'm perfectly happy being all powerful without any worshipers.:D

Nothing significant could be done any differently. A god has a very small set of necessary goals, all of which having very limited possible solutions.
