Christian dogma is that a man can kill millions, ask for forgiveness on his deathbed and be saved and go to heaven; while a non-believer can live a good life, never harm anyone, and yet is condemned to spend an eternity being tortured after death because they offended god's vanity by not believing in him.
So you think criminals should be treated with dignity but theists should be berated? Don't be surprised if focusing on the people rather than the issue only clouds the issue.
No Jesus never says that....you're using flawed logic....rather Jesus says "he who is not against us is for us"..."those who kill by the sword must die by the sword", etc...
Myths and superstitions are not recognized as objective concepts as there is no observable phenomena to be reckoned. Human beings that understand that are treated with validity and dignity.
Fine. I'll dumb it down for you. Criminals should not be tortured, 'k? Neither should they be accorded dignity. 'K? Criminals should be treated appropriate to their crime (whatever that may be. Who cares.)
Theists should be identified for what they are - Purveyors of an adopted delusion based on cultural transmission and nothing more. Accepting of "faith" (willing acceptance of pure ignorance) as a virtue. Both of which mark them as wothy of derision by rational humans who actually care about the real plight of people.

To be so bold as to challenge the theist majority for which you defend, the myths and superstitions which make up those beliefs, is an effort demanding a great courage.
The courage is mustered if the stakes are high. Clearly, mankind's future is a stake to be reckoned with, and is obviously on the radar of those who also think so.

Oh, I see. So, you believe that freedom means to allow theists to make their beliefs our reality, and science is undermining that freedom by demonstrating that those beliefs are in fact merely myth and superstition.
If those faiths had even an inkling of credibility, they would care less what science was trying to prove or disprove. In fact, science would inevitably come to the conclusion those faiths were valid.
