If pornography is demeaning to women...

Come one. Men are more visually oriented. In contrast i know women who do things medically, like treat wounds and stuff like that that i could never do because i cant stand to look at stuff like that. They dont seem to view bodily functions the same wasy. It is asdmirable but thats not for me.

What ?, Huh. I don't have a problem with blood or guts. I find that stuff fascinating. Most of my friends don't. Men are more tactile, they do things by feel and visual. Auditory is not our strong suit.

Oh, everyone cares about how they look, we are all vain. While I agree that a lot wouldn't watch it, theres an equal amount that would.

On a side note, since women don't have the same obsession with porn as men, I'd doubt a lot of women would find female dominance over man appealing.. Or am i just being naive here ?.

I'm not sure how the two go together. If you're into porn, you're into a specific kind of porn. If you're not then you're not. Female domination seems to be kinda cutsie, like lesbian sex and masturbation. That may just be my masochistic tendencies swaying my judgement though.

As I've said before...

Although I don't tend to fully agree, I've seen other research which argues women are sexually aroused by a much wider range of stimuli. For example, women and men are show a series of images, some sexual, some not, some of sexual acts from other species and the findings where that women were the ones who responded physically to most images of a sexual nature, and men only by the conventional sexual depictions usually found in pornographic images of humans.

As in many areas of sexuality, research on women's sexual arousal patterns has lagged far behind men's, but the scant research on the subject does hint that, compared with men, women's sexual arousal patterns may be less tightly connected to their sexual orientation.

So although men have the reputation for being pervs it's actually us women who are the weird and twisted ones

grrr.....people....it's just sex, porn is used has a way to get instant gratification, and many women and men alike watch porn, there is nothing wrong with it, in fact it can be used to liven up a non sexual relationship,

sex shops are no longer the seedy places they once were, in fact there is a sex shop in most towns now, and rightfully so, if you want to go out and buy a Cat 'o' nine tails, or handcuffs then so be it, you should be allowed to, but they should never be used without the second (or third or forth) person consent!

if that floats your boat then why shouldn't you use things like that?

also anouther point, if it was demeaning to women then why oh why are they making and selling more sex toys aimed at women?

Is that what you tell your children? I'm not judging, just wondering.

if my kids ask about anything they get told the truth, nothing more nothing less,

my kids are still at a young age and know about porn and my oldest boy who is 16 does watch it, (he's a 16yr old boy)

The truth is the only way to gain trust and respect from kids. Lie to them and they will either know it or find out about the lie which makes the parents really look like assholes to their own kids.:)

(he's a 16yr old boy)

I'm not sure what that means.

Do you worry about him developing wrong opinions about how women should be looked at?
Do you worry about him looking at women and visualizing sex acts? Is it OK to visualize sex with anyone/everyone?

Do you consider porn to be addictive?

nope!!

what i mean about the "he's a 16yr old boy remark" what 16yr old doesnt get curious about sex, and porn??

It is not demeaning. You don't hear men whining about how it cheapens them as human beings, so why do women do it???!!!!

It is very demandig. Taking in all size of dicks in all holes, that is a hard job!

Oh you meant demeaning. Nevermind....

I don't know. I watch it, but I sure as hell wouldn't want my daughter taking it up as a carer choice. When it comes to porn, I'm a huge hypocrite.
