I honestly doubt I could contribute anything to this conversation that most people don't already know. OK, there are men in the porn industry earning much less than women. But they have a longer "shelf life" than women so in the long run they don't just have to go back to stacking shelves. Men also have it hard when it comes to erectile dysfunction, most men find it nigh on impossible to get the equipment in the required state in front of a camera. But then along came viagra and there you go, problem solved, on the hole. I mean whole. Men are nowhere near as mistreated within the industry, take Max Hardcore's films for example. Then there's the "well, they have a choice whether or not to do this line of work", but really, is that not a product of their situation? Men don't often find themselves without an equally well paid alternative. I'm not saying it's all bad, I'm a big fan myself, but I'm not kidding myself about any of it. In the same sense that I know drinking too much isn't good for me but I still do it anyway because I'm an aesthetic junkie.
