How's your picture about islam?

I would agree that Western Media is indeed biased against Islam if only because they have so few Islamic employees, and how can you have an opinion on something you don't understand?

So the oppression and tyranny sometimes found in Muslim societies plays no role in the Western world's opinions of Islam?

I also reject your claim that you can't have an informed opinion on something which you don't personally believe or practice. I understand socialism and pacifism even though I am not now, nor have I ever been, a socialist or pacifist. Good journalism requires the willingness to report nothing but the facts, not a personal relationship with each and every subject you write about.

Furthermore, "news" stations like FOX News are just atrocious. They stie the entire American nation up into anti-Islamic moods with no real justification.

Well said, finally, you start realize the reasons why morons like Vienna and hateful jews like othedeap are behaving in such manner..too much exposure to hate and lies.

buddy, i searched hard and deep why arabs and muslims hate us so much.
i read their newspapers daily.

IRNA (iran's)
Arab News (the official saudi paper)
some random arab sources,

i also read other papers to get a fuller picture
Israeli papers (Ha'aretz mostly. it's a leftwing rag but updated the best)
CNN (clueless monkeys)
Toronto Star (all the middle-east related stuff is written by arabs. disgustingly bias and cluelessly liberal)

basically, the arab newspapers, in my conclusion, are written by fanatics.
are all arabs/muslims bad? hell no. most dont give a shit about politics.
but used toilet paper like PM here (and the monkeys-with-guns who are his leaders who come up with this shit) are the scum of the earth.
PM usually is just stupid... like a dog who's trying to catch his own tail.
but when he's able to think clearly enough to write something coherent it is full of venom and fundamentalism.

personally i'm just fed up with trying to reason with lunatics
they only respect one thing

Nor did I make that claim either. I asked you how you can have an informed opinion on something you do not understand. I did not ask you how you can have an informed opinion on something you do not believe or practice. I choose my words carefully and it is a shame that the meaning taken from them is often not the meaning I had put into them.

I find it interesting that such an obvious reason for Western media "bias" against Islam was ignored...

Siddhartha said:

So why the concern for the alleged lack of Muslim employees? Why would you expect a Muslim employee to be any less biased on Islam-related issues than a non-Muslim?

Siddhartha said:

And the sentence I quoted made it seem as if you were saying that you couldn't understand Islam unless you were a Muslim. If that is not what you meant, then I retract my statement. But I hope you can at least see how I reached this conclusion.

Here is the definition of joint.

Pronunciation: 'joint
Function: noun
Etymology: Middle English jointe, from Old French, from joindre
1 a (1) : the point of contact between elements of an animal skeleton with the parts that surround and support it (2) : NODE 5b b : a part or space included between two articulations, knots, or nodes c : a large piece of meat for roasting
2 a : a place where two things or parts are joined b : a space between the adjacent surfaces of two bodies joined and held together (as by cement or mortar) c : a fracture or crack in rock not accompanied by dislocation d : the flexing part of a cover along either backbone edge of a book e : the junction of two or more members of a framed structure f : a union formed by two abutting rails in a track including the elements (as bars and bolts) necessary to hold the abutting rails together g : an area at which two ends, surfaces, or edges are attached

The operative word here is "two" it takes two bones to make a joint. How can you have more joints then bones?

Oh yeah, I almost forgot the insult. I'd rather be greco then a Syrian camel fucker.
