The day you stop occupying their motherland and recognize their natural rights to their land the violence will stop. Until then any kind of resistence is legitimate as it was during the WWII. Let's not forget that the Paslestinians do not posses planes, gunboats and guided missiles, and are not armed by the U.S. with billions of dollars of free weaponry each year, so they are trying to take their land back with whatever power they have.
