Great Explanation of Global Flood Model

Great Tit?

Was that a late guess or because you're not familiar with the species?

It can be, and is often used, as in: "What a Great Tit! The plumage is rather excellent, and it is in prime breeding condition." Etc,etc.

IAC, can you please point me to the verse in the Bible which claims that the mountains rose and the ocean basins sunk at the close of the deluge? After all, the Genesis account "reads like a ship's log," right?

Thanks. :)

You claim the Genesis account is a ship's log.
You also claim that ships' logs don't describe geological processes.

So then why are these verses included:

Gen 8:1-4
8:1 Then God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the animals that were with him in the ark. And God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters subsided. 2 The fountains of the deep and the windows of heaven were also stopped, and the rain from heaven was restrained. 3 And the waters receded continually from the earth. At the end of the hundred and fifty days the waters decreased.
NKJV

Do the fountains of the deep have anything to do with geology? I thought you mentioned that they did earler?

So, why would this ship's log in Genesis include a description of a geologic process? Hmmmmmmmmmmm.

Yes, exactly. And, according to the bible which you take literally word for word, the waters receeded when God "made wind to pass over them." Not due to ocean basins sinking or mountains rising, which means that your theory contradicts the bible. That's interesting.

Genesis 8:1 Then God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the animals that were with him in the ark. And God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters subsided.

If the wind was not the cause for the waters subsiding, why the bible say it was?

Wow, are you desperate.

Okay, well why then would the Bible even mention the wind, why would it not just say: The waters subsided.

Clearly, any third grader could see that from the context of the verse, the "wind" was the cause, and the only cause, of the waters subsiding.

If you are truly saved, then probably not. But there is no sure way of verifying that.

Let me also point this out:

"As the waters receded (the "Great Regression") from off of the land the most superficial -- and least lithified -- continental deposits were eroded off the continents. This would leave an unconformity on the continent not reflected in ocean stratigraphy. The absence of these most superficial continental deposits may explain the absence of human as well as most mammal and angiosperm fossils in Flood sediments [123]."

So this (the bold print) is the young earth explanation for why no human fossils are ever found with dinosaur fossils.

Apparently, the modern mammals and humans somehow all miraculously ended up in the highest level of sediment! LOL. Truly unbelievable. The human and modern mammal bodies magically, in the midst of a chaotic, random, underwater mess, all ended up in the same and highest layer of sediment.

Weak, IAC. Very weak. Find a new hobby.
