Great Explanation of Global Flood Model

Correct, "stuff" rarely got fossilized, and rarely gets fossilized. Now you're catching on. Good job.

Now in a Global Deluge, every single creature would have gotten cemented and fossilized at the same time, and we would see modern creatures (humans, modern mammals, etc.) as well as prehistoric ones (dinos, pterodons, etc.) all in one layer. This is would a global deluge would produce.

But instead, we see the opposite. We see the prehistoric animals on the lower levels of sediment and the more modern ones on higher levels of sediment. It's called faunal succession. Pretty cool, eh?

"Faunal succession" which is constantly being re-written because of new finds.

No kidding. If wasn't being revised after new finds, then I would be surprised, genius.

If you can't figure out how you shot yourself in the foot, then it's too delightful to tell. Muaaahahah.

Because fossililization is so rare (which is only true with an old earth) and that humans were never found with dinos in the fossil record because it was highly unlikely for a human to get fossilized with one.

Now in a young earth, in your GFM, fossilization should have been extremely common, from your own words.

LOL. Maybe you haven't figured it out yet, but you actually shot yourself in the foot.

Humans fossilized much less than marine animals, hmmm.

Yeah, no kidding. Land vertebrates didn't get stuck in landslides or sink in mudholes very often, slick. Marine creatures are always in a sedimentary environment, meaning they have a far better chance of being fossilized. It perfectly explains an old earth. Thanks for pointing that out.

By the way, humans weren't fossilized much because we have only been around for about 200,000 years. This means that it is highly unlikely that we even would get fossilized during that span of time, and even if we did, the bones probably would not have fully mineralized yet. Further, even if we did, we would only be at the very highest levels of sediment (which, of course, we are).

Nope. They became entombed in the sedimentary rock before all those processes happened, Scruffy.

So how did they end up in vast flat-lying layers, ususally stacked like pancakes, all across the continents? Did they just magically slide up there en masse?

(By the way, your parroting my lines is the sincerest form of flattery, good job.)

The continental "flat-lying" layers were caused by the different climates which existed over millions of years in the same area of each existing rock formation. The pancaking shows the different climates and conditions which existed in each layer of the rock, hence the pancakes. Pretty cool, eh?

So no "sliding magically up there" is involved in the Old Earth Theory. Only in your theory is magic going on.

Thanks, you should be proud, they are great lines. :)

Oh, so the "modern" layers on the continents will form like vast flat-lying pancakes atop the others? So where are those layers forming today?

Wherever sediments are being transported and deposited into basins.

IAC, why did Moses write that "God made a wind to pass over the earth"?
