Goth who walks fiancée on a leash is banned by bus driver: 'No dogs allowed!

Does the bus company have a policy that bans pets from riding the bus? If so, the driver may be in the clear since the woman describes herself as a "pet".

Oh, and this part is great too:
The couple, who live on benefits in a council house and plan to start a family, have been friends for years.
So they're on welfare, living some bdsm goth lifestyle instead of working. Great. I wonder, when they start their family, will all the girls be leashed? Or just mom?

Or, uh, maybe you can just leave them alone if you don't like them? Live and let live, you know?

Its hard not to leave them alone when a whole gang of them are standing right in the middle of the high street, they crave attention and are a nuisance.

Most of my friends are goths/metalheads, and they're quite happy people.

Lots of annoying non-goths do that too. What do you do to them?

Heh, well that's fair I suppose. Feel free to hate as long as you hate equally. :)

Mate, I wouldn't call it hatred... When I'm out and about and I come across those that are rude, loud, arrogant - should I treat them as I would treat those that are kind, gentle and quiet? I don't think I should. Don’t get me wrong, I could very easily treat them the same, however, for the greater good I think they should be treated harshly. When you are soft to the rude and arrogant, it only encourages them, it causes an imbalance within society.

Be harsh and hard on the arrogant and soft on the gentler folk.

Yeah, that's totally pathetic.
Indeed it is. They both look healthy enough. I presume it's their bizarre appearance that prevents them from getting a job. Why should the government support people who intentionally make themselves unemployable?

Freedom includes being responsible for the consequences of your actions. This couple is acting like a couple of bratty kids. Flouting convention to show how free spirited they are, and then getting in line for their government hand out. Pathetic.
What you didn't like the avatars I found for you? I have had many happy customers so far that actually used the ones I found for them...:D

Welcome back. So you'll feel at home, let just say those words you love to hear........Hot chicks.

Sorry, I was purposefully exaggerating when I used the word "hate." I hoped the smiley face would point out that I wasn't being completely serious.

While I support their right to do whatever they want, I agree that they shouldn't be supported considering the girl doesn't do anything or go anywhere without her "master." That's probably keeping her from working.

...The music technology student had this defence of her lifestyle...

well, she goes to class without him I assume. And when I was in college I had many classmates who got food stamps. I don't think its any different that what this couple is doing.

Then you'd have to assume she's lying when she says explicitly in the article that she doesn't go anywhere with him. :p

"I don't cook or clean and I don't go anywhere without Dani. It might seem strange but it makes us both happy. It's my culture and my choice. It isn't hurting anyone."

"It's my culture"

? lol

Culture is a way of life. So I think that may be in the correct tense.

By the way, that argument with sandy and Shorty was awesome! Glad to have Shorty_37 back. I nearly died laughing when I read her responses to sandy's posts.
