I can't believe you guys are making jokes about these poor people, who simply want to go about their business unnoticed and be treated like everyone else (you can tell by the way one is walking the other on a leash), obviously they must have been really shocked and surprised by this negative attention and they're now probably just eager to put the unpleasantness behind them and get on with their simple lives in peace.
They were picked out a crowd and ridiculed, just for going out of their way to stand out and be shocking, poor guys.
Really makes you think, and weep a little bit, for humanity in general.

I don't care what they do in the privacy of their own home. When they act/look like a bunch of freaks who just missed the freakboat, then they are annoying the normal people. Walking another human being on a leash in public is pathetic. So are the people doing it.
It's not other people's business to be annoyed at what they do. It affects no one else but them.
Also, how far do you take that principle? If someone is 'annoyed' by the sight of a black PVC clad 17 year old with a faceful of piercings, is it wrong for me to look the way I do? Should I be forced to go home and put 'normal' clothes on because I'm annoying the normal people?
But this whole issue brings up the question of where do you draw the line for free speeech? Whatever is not against the law, it is fine?

Er, is there any indication in the article that these two aren't good Christians? Sure they may dress and act goth, but there's nothing un-Christian about that is there? For all we know, they may love and worship Christ even more than you do.
