Does God and his --- Obey or Die law--- say that Christians are to be slaves forever?

An eternity of praying and praising and singing, like going to church 24 hrs a day forever.
No wonder Christians are afraid of death.

It might be better than Islam and it's curse against all it's men with all those virgins and Houri who have to be services all the time.

Any kind of existence that lasted for eternity, no mater how pleasant or pleasurable
would become a kind of hell.
Some people take a thousand years to realise they are in hell.
They thought it was heaven.

You know, i'm not going to quote the Bible because, we would be tossing versicles at each other to back up our arguments like there's no tomorrow. Althought it would be fun like shit to stick to the literal image of that, would lead nowhere.
Well, in my understanding (read as imho), the bible does speak about punishment, and a lot of that. But only to the people who like to live and live only in this nowaday world of 'system of things material' (as exactly as some people like to describe). As this world of now, is not the one that God intended, and is the world that goes by the rule of the oppositor (aka Satan). That was my understandment at least...

Scriptures use slave, not devotion.
Cite chapter and verse, please.

It is not a metaphor and nowhere is marriage spoken of at that juncture of the gospels.
I was refering to the New Testament frequently calling the church the "bride of Christ". I'm not aware of any references to the church as the slave of Christ.

You would get bored with the monotony of it.
The continual pleasantness would become irritating.

Only if the way life is usually lived and experienced is to be taken as the alpha and omega of all existence, of all experience.
Which is rather small-minded.

If one does things that are worth doing, then even doing them forever wouldn't be boring.

So the underlying issue seems to be that those who complain that eternity would be monotonous are currently living lives which they believe are not worth living ...

Living implies change and growth. That which doesn't change or grow is death. Eternity is death.

Eternity is unreachable, unattainable and unconceivable. Just like perfection.
It's like thinking about the last number or the edge of the indeterminate. So sorry, death is eternity as much as existence.

At the earliest instances of the big bang, hadrons and leptons were created, and souls... forever shall they exist.

No they came up with a hell thought. That thought must be rooted in your own hell. The eternal have found peace and know it is Heaven.

Then you should understand how good a job he is doing.

All that plus the other markers for the greater evils, violent death and slavery are all at the best levels that we have ever enjoyed. Sure we have a ways to go but things have never been as good.

As to the punishments you speak of from God. Care to answer a few quick questions?

Judgment and punishment go hand in hand.

Our human laws have a form of punishment where the penalty is graduated to fit the crime. An eye for an eye type of justice.

God‘s punishment seems to surpass this standard with hell. Hell used here is the eternal fire and torture type of hell and I am not particularly interested in the myriad of other definitions and theories that some use to supplant this traditional view.

To ascertain if hell would be a moral construct or not, all you need do is answer these
simple question for yourself.

1. Is it good justice for a soul to be able to sin for only 120 years and then have to suffer torture for 12000000000000000000000000 + years?

2. Is it good justice for small or mediocre sinners to have to bear the same sentence as Hitler, Stalin and other genocidal maniacs?
This might actually include God if you see Noah’s flood as God using genocide and not justice against man. Pardon the digression.

Punishment is usually only given to change attitude or actions and cause the sinner to repent.

3. Is it good justice to continue to torture a soul in hell if no change in attitude or actions are to result?

4. If you answered yes to these questions, then would killing the soul not be a better form of justice than to torture it for no possible good result or purpose?

Is hell a moral construct or not?

Please explain your reasons and know that ---just because you think God created it ---does not explain your moral judgment. It is your view I seek and not God’s as no one can speak for God.

Galatians 4
New American Standard Bible (NASB)

4 Now I say, as long as the heir is a [a]child, he does not differ at all from a slave although he is owner of everything, 2 but he is under guardians and [c]managers until the date set by the father. 3 So also we, while we were children, were held in bondage under the [d]elemental things of the world. 4 But when the fullness of the time came, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under [e]the Law, 5 so that He might redeem those who were under [f]the Law, that we might receive the adoption as sons. 6 Because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into our hearts, crying, “Abba! Father!” 7 Therefore you are no longer a slave, but a son; and if a son, then an heir [g]through God.

Romans 6:22
But now having been freed from sin and enslaved to God, you derive your benefit, resulting in sanctification, and the outcome, eternal life.

And your large mind has decided to believe in real fantasy, miracles and magic instead of the real.

A large mind full of crap IOW.
