Your atheism is kicking in again.
This really hurts your case.
Rather than addressing
my arguments, you are addressing
your concept of atheism. That's a classic straw man.
Not to mention that you have already established that
you don't what atheism is. If I were a lesser man I might start calling you a liar (if that were somehow logical).
if I don’t give you satisfactory evidence does it mean God is not real?
It simply means I lack sufficient evidence to believe he is real.
It is logically impossible to prove a negative, so it would be folly for me to assert God does
not exist.
Best I can do is relegate him to the same place as unicorns: "Not sayin' they don't exist, just sayin' I'll believe it when see it."
This is how all humans work,
including you. You lack sufficient evidence of garden faeries, therefore you are not convinced they are real. If I can't produce evidence that satisfies you, you are right to continue to be skeptical that they exist.
If it does mean that God is not real then I am correct in saying that as far as you’re concerned… there is no God
I am not prepared to say there is "no such thing" as unicorns.
My stance is, and always has been "I'll accept it when I see it."
and as such you are being dishonest when asking for evidence.
I still do not find any logic in this.
How is asking for evidence for something being 'dishonest'? Take makes no sense. Please explain this.
... I recommend you check out former, explicit, card carrying atheists giving their testimonies.
I'm asking
you, here, now. Because
you are here, making a claim for God's existence.
And what I'm hearing is
"Who me? I don't know; I was indoctrinated early in my life to believe without needing evidence. Go ask these other guys who came by their belief honestly."
Please, disabuse me of this notion that you, personally, neither
have - nor
require - evidence.
