Danish Cartoon backlash, there embassy is blown up in pakistan!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, Afghanis are too stupid to realize that bombing the enemy sometimes kills the innocent? How many Afghani women and children were accidently killed in the course of fighting the Russians?

Like Americans are too stupid to realise that their foreign policy creates terrorism?

Or the Danish are too dumb to realise that occupying a country creates resentment against the people who are doing the occupation even without targeting their religious beliefs?

The Afghanis didn't keep count, nether did the Russian, it wasn't important to either of them.

Really? That kind of callousness has become endemic only to Americans.

How come no muslims attacked russian interests worlwide, when russia invaded afganistan, there was no call for a worldwide jihaad.

This simple reason is, russia does not have israel as a friend, it seems if you not sleeping with israel, you can invade any muslim country, with no jihaads afterwards.

Israel is the only problem america has, its not the invasions, you dont care about that, its the jewish love thing, muslims just hate jews, & because of that they hate america fullstop, nothing to do with iraq or afghanistan, this is all a proxy war with israel, if america pulled out of iraq & afghan tommorow, & all the other foreign troops stayed, guess what all the foreign muslim fighters would leave too, there's no fun in fighting UK or canadian troops, only jew lovers.

Sam you must educate yourself on the true reason for these foreign fighters in iran & afganistan, americans & jews muslims just see them as one.

Our recent foreign policy has increased support for terrorism, but it is not the source of it, which is much closer to home. Your own leaders, their greed, their lack of "proper" religious fervor, the failure to bring prosperity to the common man, that is the source.

The same way US supplied anti-MI missiles to Afghanis against the Russians, the Russians should supply anti-US plane heat seeking missiles to Afghanis as well...

I think this thread has lost track of the topic: Is anyone here going to justify blowing up and embassy because that country allowed some cartoons to offend them? If not then I think this thread is over.

As the death of Afghani and Iraqi children has hardened the minds of Afghani and Iraqi resistance fighters.
aaaaand so? Does that change the wrongness of it? Two wrongs don't make a right. Killing the enemies children just because they killed yours is still wrong.

The occupier is that person in Afghanistan and Iraq who is abetting the occupation. Civilians in the homeland are another matter altogether. Read my post more thoroughly.
How so abetting? With weapons or simply be being there?

.

Probably because the Russians did not confuse being a freedom fighter with being a Muslim.

If the Chinese were occupying the US and bombing Americans every day for seven years, what would be the American response?

So, if innocent people are killing in an embassy bombing over offensive cartoons, you would understand it if we dropped some daisy cutters on Kabul?

Well I would expect Americans to attack Chinese soldiers, not civilians, but this is all besides the point, I'm not asking about the practicality but the morality of it, is it right to target civilians? I'm not asking if it wrong for the USA to do so, we both agree that it is wrong, I asking if it wrong for defending fighters to do so. And I'm still waiting on that answer.

After seven years of being bombarded by the Chinese? Are you certain of that?

So, if innocent people are killing in an embassy bombing over offensive cartoons, you would understand it if we dropped some daisy cutters on Kabul?

Or if the US is running a terrorist training school and funding death squads and dictators that murder civilians, its understandable if someone would retaliate?

Interesting thing: Jordanian prosecutors have summoned (yeah right!) the Danish editors and printers of the blasphemous Mohamed cartoons to Amman to face JUSTICE! I mean, freedom of speech doesn't factor into this, they need to face Jordanian justice for exercising their national right to religious and political expression.

I keep hearing how our western views of the Middle East are tainted and how it's only a handful of extremists, but all of this is in comparatively moderate Jordan. It's government officials that are attempting to prosecute people for printing a fricking cartoon!

The thing that most of you are missing is that in the eyes of the Ummah, Moslems are never wrong, but they are the wronged, it is our fault because we defend our selves from their/Moslem, righteous attacks, to defend your self from a Moslem, is a affront to the Quran, and the Prophet, as infidels we have no right to defend ourselves, from the Righteous Moslem, so to strike back at a Moslem is to strike back at the Ummah, and Islam and the Quran, and there for we are attacking Islam, and it is us, who have committed the aggression.

In Islam, the Moslem is never wrong, the infidel is, it is illegal under sharia law for a non-Moslem to strike a Moslem even if the Moslem strikes him first.

Get off the sidewalk dhimmi, and into the gutter where you belong....smack!!!:spank:

According to you it's OK if someone else started it. So those pesky "atheist" commies are to blame! We were simply defending ourselves from the red menace.

The Americans count their own dead and wounded - and release the numbers month by month, not years later.

Callousness toward civilians killed is not an American invention - the pressure to count enemy civilians as individuals is more unusual.

Do you think people don't know that there are Danish troops in Afghanistan? You have Danish troops in Afghanistan, their media and some parties of their government allowed offensive religious cartoon which is comparable cultural propaganda, and European sanctions in Palestine and other Muslim nations. Why are you people so oblivious?
Context is the answer.

Are you think-headed? Go back only a few posts and you will see my answer. By asking me the same question, what are you trying to accomplish?

Killing of children is a sin (period). Whether some vigilantes do it or the US government, it is still wrong.

How so abetting? With weapons or simply be being there?

By speaking in favor of it (esp. being in Afghanistan or Iraq at the time of doing this), by denouncing the resistance, by funding occupation forces, by giving weapons to the puppet government, by providing security for corrupt leaders, by engaging actively in the destruction of Afghani/Iraqi civilians, by engaging in cultural propaganda to justify occupation.

Journalists should not be targeted unless they work for the US government or are propaganda tools for the US government. Civilian NGOs should not be targeted if delivering medical care for civilians.

It's rather simple really.

Speaking of oblivious: The context "freedom of expression" seems completely invisible to you, and very difficult for Muslims in general to comprehend, if the posts on this forum are any evidence.

People who blow up embassies in reaction to cartoons do not represent Islam even if they say they do, but people who publish cartoons in Denmark exemplify cultural oppression in solidarity with soldiers in Pakistan even if they, and the soldiers, say they don't.

Just as importantly, it wasn't the Danish government who published the cartoons. In the west, there is a rule about freedom of expression and no matter what the Danish government is doing, it doesn't have the right to restrict it citizens from freely expressing their opinions about Islam.

This entire issue is nonsense. Any attempt to connect Muslims burning embassies and protesting in the streets because a few Danish guys published some timely drawings of Muhammad, is futile. Even more telling is the fact that members of the Jordanian government, including legal prosecutors, are summoning Danish citizens to come face Islamic justice for -- rightly -- expressing themselves in a totally different country. Just as important is the fact that people have been jailed in Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan and Jordan already for expressing themselves much the same way.

Calling the cartoons "propaganda" is ridiculous. It's only propaganda unless it's done at the government's behest. In Denmark, as in much of Europe, governments tried desperately to downplay these drawings if not trying to stop their publication altogether.

Now... um... what's the one big similarity all these nations have in common? I'm sure this is all just a western oppression issue and if we'd all just go away, Islamic nations would totally cease any prosecutions for blasphemy.

We are aware of that, we are just wondering if this bombing is because of the cartoons? The Danes say they have been getting threats on their embassies over the cartoons, not about Danish presents.

OK, great, so then do you openly denounce it when they do kill innocents?
