Creepy things caught in photos

If we see a man in a photo then he must be a ghost. And if we don't see a man, then he must have been an invisible ghost. Seems like a win win for you.

I've yet to come across any photos of a man we don't see. I will however do a google image search and see what I come up with.

Well we actually have photographic and video and audio and FLIR and EMF and bodily and kinetic and eyewitness evidence for ghosts.
What makes you say that any of that evidence is evidence for ghosts?

Could it possibly be evidence for anything other than ghosts? If so, how are you going to determine whether it's ghosts or the other thing(s)?

Well ghost or apparition is a pretty general term. Generally any immaterial presence initially gets slapped with that label. But there could be other paranormal denizens lurking about. Demons, djinn, elementals, interdimensionals, shadow people, etc. Over time with enough interaction with the entity, it becomes possible to be more specific about what it is.

Ofcourse! It's perfectly reasonable that a random short old man that looks exactly like the woman's husband would stand on a chair behind her to look 8 feet tall while photobombing her picture. Why didn't I think of that?
Or, he was just standing on the chair for some other reason and happened to get caught in the photo.

There are numerous non-fantastical, non-whimsical and non-fairytale explanations for that and many photos. You simply don't prescribe to that.

Goofy pictures aren't new, they're damn near as old the camera. When provenance is lost or ignored they become magic for some poor daffodils. -

He wouldn't have to be short. You haven't thought that through, either, have you?
...that looks exactly like the woman's husband...
He doesn't look much like the husband in the other photo.
... would stand on a chair...
People are known to stand on chairs. In fact, I bet you have stood on a chair.
... behind her to look 8 feet tall...
There are plenty of other reasons he could have stood on a chair.
... while photobombing her picture.
You're suggesting that he deliberately put himself in the picture? How do you know that?
... Why didn't I think of that?
Because you never think.

"Film-maker and paranormal investigator David Scott and his paranormal research team IPRA traveled to Schiller Park, Illinois to explore The Great Escape restaurant and bar. The site of the restaurant was once a general store, post office, gas station, barber shop, pool hall, speakeasy, and a brothel. It was used by gangsters in the prohibition era. Mobster Al Capone was often seen in the bar in the 1920s.

Part of The Great Escape was built in 1889 and the original bar was hand carved by the Chicago Bar Company. In the early 1900s, a few silent movies were filmed on the property.

"The team is given a photograph by the evening bartender. A customer shared the photo with her after witnessing a shadow figure outside the women's bathroom. Upon reviewing the photo, he noticed an undeniable image of a young girl dressed in old fashioned clothing," Scott said."

This is a great capture of a ghost in a semi-solid state. Very clearly a little girl in period clothing.

I love it. He looks at the human and thinks "she's diaphanous!" while ignoring that the rest of the room is of the same consistency. Amazing.

This man is a charlatan, a huckster who charges $75 for a 30 minute session where he'll gladly communicate with your dead loved ones, amongst other such "services" he provides.

Au contraire, monsieur. Clearly a ghost cat in human drag. My conclusion is as strongly empirically grounded as yours and you cannot disprove it.

The famous picture of Billy the Kid with his lever action rifle is faked.
I'm starting to think that this photo was faked:

And I actually went to Van in eastern Turkey looking for this dog! There were some big dogs there, but not that big.

The shadow of the dog and lack of shadow of the man makes it look fake.

I ran into a woman in Philadelphia once who claimed to have had a cocker spaniel who weighed 140 pounds. In the manner of every single CBS News interview that has ever aired, I responded with, "140 pounds?" And she repeated, "140 pounds." I suspect she was mistaken.

That dog (above) appears to stand maybe 72 inches at the shoulders. That would make him 600 pounds? 800 pounds? But then, he's taller than a lot of horses--and broader--so what, maybe 1200 pounds? I think it would be awesome if dogs like that actually existed.
