Creepy things caught in photos

Sometimes ghosts showing up in photos is more heartbreaking than creepy...

"A newlywed couple who sadly lost their young daughter three months before they got married were left stunned while they were looking back at their wedding photographs. After examining one image in closer detail, Tahlia Murphy was shocked to see what appeared to be the ghostly figure of their daughter Taidyn, who died in a tragic incident when she was just 17 months old.

The figure appears to be standing in the lefthand corner of the photo, leaning against a tree. It appeared to the Australian bride that she was wearing a dress for the special occasion and that she was watching her parents from afar. When she showed her husband Cecil, he was left equally stunned.

As previously reported by PerthNow, mum Tahlia had been at work when she received a devastating phone call in September 2022. Taidyn, who was lovingly known as Totty to friends and family, was found unresponsive in the family's back garden spa. The following day, she passed away.

After getting the photos back from her wedding, Tahlia says it made her feel "whole" knowing that her entire family had been there on her special day, and decided to show the image to her other children.

Tahlia said: "My 12-year-old daughter started crying. Our four-year-old was like, 'Can we go back and get Totty and bring her home?'

"Then our son was like, 'Why can she come to the wedding but she wasn't allowed for Christmas?' It's just hard to explain to kids who don't understand why we couldn't bring her home."

Tahlia has since uploaded footage showing the mysterious figure to TikTok, which has since been viewed more than 1.4 million times."

Actually, the little ghost girl was there to stop the wedding, but arrived too late. Turns out, her feet got stuck on a fallen log. You can see it in the photo.

Pareidolia can be persuasive to people with an emotional bias.

How many people see the virgin Mary or Jesus on a burnt pancake or a patch of rust?

The Sachs Covered Bridge is a famously haunted location near the Gettysburg Battlefield. Several photos of apparitions/glowing mists have been captured there. Here's its brief history and some of those photos:

"The reasons behind the haunted bridge in Gettysburg are numerous. First of all, the covered bridge played a key role during the Civil War.

Union forces crossed Sachs Covered Bridge (also called Sauck’s Covered Bridge) on July 1, 1863 as they headed toward Gettysburg.

After the Confederate loss on July 3rd General Lee called for his army’s retreat back to Virginia. He had lost 28,000 of his 80,000 men and they were low on both ammunition and food in enemy territory.

All of the wounded Confederate soldiers who were well enough to travel joined the wagon train retreating from Gettysburg. Those who could not be moved were left behind to be captured and cared for by the Union army.

On July 4, while the wagon train was still crossing the mountains at Cashtown, the remaining bulk of General Lee’s army left the battlefield and crossed the Sachs Covered Bridge and headed towards the Fairfield Road, which is today’s Route 116.

It then moved on to Fairfield where the army divided and crossed the mountains through passes at Fairfield and Monterey.

The most popular legend behind the haunted bridge in Gettysburg is that three Confederate soldiers were hung from the trusses of the structure."

If it was confirm haunted that would make world wide news. The fact that only loons and Weakly Whirled Mews would report this dead face proves it isn't haunted.

This is from one of RFK Jr's dinner parties. Notice the strange figure next to the guy who looks like Marlon Brando.
Ha! Nelson de la Rosa. A bit of trivia - in that role Nelson was the inspiration for Mini Me in the Austin Powers movies.

A friend and I for several years (maybe longer than want to admit) had a weird penchant for little people trivia. I have promised several people I will not mention Colin Farrell quotes concerning little people in the film In Bruges. I really need to check and see if that's still in effect.
