Funny you should say that..if you had asked yesterday I would have said no but I must say reading the deaths from other things, starvation in particular I am starting to wonder ... there you go that will give you something to get excited about.

No doubt in a year from now we will be able to select from various books proposing conspiracy to aliens to gods wrath because dogs don't wear pants...in fact I bet there will be a book proposing a conspiracy to remove Trump before he goes four terms.

Sure millions die every year from all sorts of conditions...so?
You will just have to ADD a few hundred thousand more due to COVID-19.

I hate to go against you on that one river because really you could expect folk to rethink things, but guess what not a snow flakes hope in hell...I wish that you could be right I really do.

Just think of that number of deaths from starvation...then think of videos of folk firing mini guns into gas cylinders, and tractor pulling with units that have five motors, and pastors with their third private jet, and the predominance of grotesquely fat people people in the super market with two shopping trolleys full of junk food, and then think how likely it will be to see any mini gun owner, tractor owner, jet owning pastor, or the majority of fat folk giving a flying f..k about 20,000 faceless starving people dieing each day every day. But if they were to be taxed on more single dollar they would probably take up arms in open revolt..the West won't change river. Hey Mr Mini Gun owner you just fired off 5000 rounds do you know that is a quarter the number of people you starve to death each day...

It could be a coincidence, but how is it that just when Americans started growing bored of ''staying at home,'' the Cv19 numbers began declining? lol Two weeks ago, the WH was talking about the potential of 100 - 200k deaths, and now? America's having a grand reopening in a few weeks.

I guess when we get tired of dealing with a virus, it'll just poof...go away. :rolleyes:

Trump can't be blamed for everything, no. Biden would be even more frightening, if you ask me. He doesn't even know what day it is half the time or what city he's in. But, what will be Trump's fault is if he goaded states to reopen too soon, and we experience a second wave sooner than we are prepared to handle.

Everybody fails to see a problem with their reasoning perhaps heaven forbid even your good self.

Well if it's just numbers we should not worry...so at the end of the year let us look at the number of deaths from starvation and the number from the virus...starvation will come in at over a million...but it's like those folk just don't count for whatever reason...what do the churches do? Not enough it seems...how many folk could you feed with the money for one private jet...mmm these numbers get interesting...but hey why bother these people are going to starve anyways and no doubt if I could see the problem with my reasoning I could be ok with that desperately sad number. Imagine if you had a fat tax..only one percent of your trolley or two trolleys...say $3 heck that will feed a starving person for two days.

Anyways the more I think about things it is clear Trump is not the problem..he is just someone to blame because well fat, mini gun firing ,tractor pulling folk need to blame someone I guess. Honestly put who you like at the controls and you are still herding cats.

Nothing better than capitalism sadly and it works well if tax is fair,... the communists had a good saying..no one shall own two fur coats until everyone ones at least one...I have no problem with insane wealth but when folk sleep in the street or die because they can not afford health care maybe that is time to require those that have to help those who have not.

In a world of near 7 billion how much per capita to feed a miserable one million starving people.

Forget climate change and fickle fashion..first things first.

There we go boys chew on that bone whilst I am gone...off to do real stuff...and like any good Western hypocrite will forget entirely about those starving people and have a nice lunch ... but unlike most I only eat for sustenance...just think if we didn't have the virus around...about the glutinous lunches so routine for our culture..mmm what do you fancy for the entree, mmm the lobster and avocado and the last lamb for main and maybe the chocolate cake and French cream for dessert then the continental cheese tray...Let's open a restaurant "the greasy trough" ..so appropriate...oh the wine I forgot..mmm a nice white to go with the entree, now what to go with the lamb...mmm after an Irish coffee...excuse me sir could you give to help these starving people...sir..sir...

Today, about a week after all the Trumpies started with their mass protests, the number of COVID deaths in the US hit a new record - 2804.

It never worked out , those in power got the fur coats . And the food , riches etc.

Fantastic wealth has happened to those who had little or nothing . And to those who already had , being past down , from the before generation .

I don't think the starvation problem is because people don't care or aren't directing money toward it.

A drought occurs in Ethiopia and a lot of people die. Countries all over the world send aid but it doesn't all get to the people in need.

Someone who is sleeping in the street in the U.S. and starves doesn't do so because there is no food. They do it because they are on drugs, have mental issues, or whatever.

It's not largely a problem of no money being thrown at it. I agree with your logic if we are talking about lack of health care in the U.S. but not starvation or sleeping in the streets.

Put me in charge and I will solve all the problems by only putting in an hour a day.
Of course money will fix the problem...shelters, mental illness homes, make drugs legal and given out by doctors who sole job is to give out drugs.

There is only one problem river and that is greedy heartless people generally following a religion that says love is everything..but of course their religion is not for those outsiders...you know those sinners that will burn in hell just as they should.
It does not matter who is in power nor which system is running it is the greedy humans that stuff it up..heck there is no shortage of anything in the world but there are folk who have too many toilet rolls stashed away.

Lets hope that this virus , if nothing else helps us to evolve towards each other . Beyond religion .

Fear does not bring out the best in people .
