You’re just showing your real character Sarkus.
Of course it doesn’t matter to you that the post was specifically a targeted response to a post which was a poke at me.
I have no issue with the target, just the content of the post. Complaining about people talking about Trump... in a thread about Trump? Really?
Your problem is your narcissism. I think you felt I didn’t give any respect to your post, and you threw lil-toys out of the pram and decided to to start the ball rolling to get me banned.
Your action is basically a reflection of the shit show we have experienced over the past 8 years. I bet you still don’t know the real underlying reason why the citizens of the US overwhelmingly voted for the Donald.
My narcissism? No. But it's true that I don't think you respected my post. Nor, for that matter, anyone else's. Or this thread. And looking at the broarder picture, this site. I'm not looking to get you banned, I'm simply looking for you to address your behaviour, and the manner of your posts: i.e. quit the trolling. Playing the victim does you no good.
Get out of the bubble and enjoy the real taste of Freedom.
"Real taste of Freedom"? In the latest Freedom House rankings (here:
https://freedomhouse.org/countries/freedom-world/scores?sort=desc&order=Total Score and Status), the
US scores 83/100. It is ranked 59/210 countries.
Finland ranks at 100/100. The UK, where I live, ranks 91/100.
The rankings by the World Population Review website has, for "personal freedoms", the US at 8.57 compared to, say, UK at 8.66, Latvia at 8.98, all the way up to Sweden at 9.43. Even on "human freedom" the US equal with the UK but below the likes of Taiwan, Scandinavian countries, NZ, Switzerland etc.
Heck, even the Heritage Foundation only puts the US at 70.1/100 for Economic rights, behind much of Europe, South Korea, Australia, Canada, Chile etc.
So how are you determining the "real taste of Freedom"? The right to own guns? Sure, we in the UK have the right to own guns. We do limit that right so as not to include people with criminal records, the insane, and also to the type of weapon, but that is to protect the rights of the general public not to get shot or massacred. How about you in the US?
But rather than address issues with anything resembling an actual argument, you simply disparage and appeal to other ad hominems. You are, in every way that matters, a troll.
No, the US is not the epitome of "freedom" that it thinks it is. You may call yourself "the land of the free", but in reality you're not actually as free as all that. Better than Russia, sure. Better than North Korea, definitely. Better than China? Sure. Than other Western democracies, however? Maybe it's you who needs to get out of your bubble?
