Are scientists always trustworthy? Should we believe everything they say?

I only just found that out here. Now I have to figure out what to do about it. Ditch these "intelligent" people afraid to leave their box, or go talk to regular people willing to listen and learn, but with no ability to change the world on a large scale same as me.
The only reason I give a damn about scientists is because of the power structure humans have built. The news and the governments will not listen unless you have status. If you are a scientist, you paid the 4 years of your life and the 20,000 government few to be allowed to make money in the country of your choice. Since you obeyed them and paid the tariff, they agree to listen to you.
If I can get one scientist to listen to me, then all the power guys without a brain in their head will listen. Not because they understand the scientist any better than they understand me, but because someone they recognize as part of the power structure is telling them the stuff.

Arguing with Happeh kills your brain cells. It's a 100% proven fact.
Arguing with Happeh is pointless because Happeh does not argue unless he is on the winning side. If I argue, it is because I know I am right. You cannot stop someone who is right.

If it is your desire to have a scientist listen to you, then you must "speak to your audience" - put your knowledge into terms that they can understand. If you expect your audience to do all the work, then you will find yourself getting nowhere fast.happeh said:

In reality, Faith in one's own beliefs is a good thing. For anybody anywhere in the world. Any worker, any school kid, any parent, anyone at all. Faith that they are doing good at what they do is an integral part of a healthy life of the human animal.
But you guys. That is how you poison people. You take a normal act necessary to the health of the human animal and you poison it to try to make the person shun the act. If you are successful and drive the person away, they become sick because they no longer perform the act or have the belief that is necessary for them to remain healthy.
If you can successfully convince some poor trusting fool that Faith is the refuge of losers and people who do not know anything, then that poor trusting fool will never have faith in himself. Faith is only for losers and people who do not know anything.
Deceit is bad for you. In the end you will pay. I know you guys chose the path you do because the power is easily available and instantly rewarding. I think you will regret it in the end
When you are sitting in your rocker when you are 60, you will remember all the bad things you have done. That is all there is to do when you are in the rocking chair. Think. And you may not know this but time dilates when you get old. In one hour in your rocker, you can relive an entire year of inflicting hurt and pain on others.
