Accepting Defeat

I will accept defeat when I have actually lost

From your reasoning in this thread I can only conclude that you won't.

Not accepting defeat at all are you?

Then how will you learn? Be like ancient regime. The winner gains nothing. The loser gains strategy. Even when you lose, you win.

i guess we have a situation where the squeaky wheel gets the grease. i dont consider that winning though and that accounts for a lot of the problems we see today.

I think you've gone off the deep end..

Show me which dictionary says defeat is a learning experience that enables you to do better the next time?

That is the essence of not accepting defeat

If you accepted you lost why would you try again?

Because if you lost, something has gone wrong. If you know something has gone wrong you can figure out how to improve your approach.
If you deny losing you don't acknowledge that something has gone wrong, and you won't have any reason to improve on your approach.

Please tell me you don't agree..

So you don't give up, you try again. By not accepting the fact that you lost.
