Should be amazing events if that occurs
For instance... say LA is hit with a quake in the 7.0+ range
That'd be Devestating
Then say, NYC is hit within 30 days with a 7.0+ quake
That'd be even more devestating
Now, some would jump and be stupid and say Sollog didn't predict that, if something of that nature took place. But when you study earthquakes, if you consider these events and the likelihood of 7.0+ quakes occuring in those specific cities in that amount of time after each other, the odds are ASTRONOMICAL
Anyways, the quakes are labled as great quakes anyways, and that means 8.0+.
i can tell you right now, if this turns out to be literal, Sollog is going to have a zillion more fans. Well, for the people who would choose to see how amazing that would be

I was just trying to figure out how I was going to rant to the same point but you've done it so succinctly that I can only say:

We'd have to have some agreement as to how exactly detailed we would want to be about certain statistical considerations. If you want to get that technical, we probably can, but this should suffice just for now
Consider just the NYC side of the prophecy. The largest Earthquake in the STATE Of NY was 5.8 magnitude back in 1944 (look it up)
If a 7.0+ quake were to strike in NYC, since it is the first time for such an event to occur, it would obviously be extremely rare, compared to the quakes that have already occurred in NY.
A 7.0+ event in LA, although rare, would obviously not be as high statistically. Coupled with an earthquake though, even in the same YEAR as if one occurred in NY of that magnitude, would make the odds of such an event well into the millions. As I stated, the precise math you're calling for comes down to very specific details about what we're speaking of... ranges around the city, exact magnitudes, exact dating technique. This would need to be agreed upon to do such a computation. I'm sure logically speaking, however, you can see it would be a rarity
Do we have any amazing statisticians in the forum? Maybe, that'd be nice

Jahiro it is common for false prophets to have contact with demons and so they may be able to predict something evil before it happens. Another posibility is that Sollog heard about something being planed by muslim extremist. Or the more likely possibility that the news server was hacked into and the message(s) were somehow forged.

News server, being usenet or google groups, has timestamped messages and they can't be altered or forged. That's the beauty of usenet. Plus there were hundreds to thousands of users who saw his 902 prophecy and Xino's 911 thread on the respective dates they were posted... What, do you think they sat back and made hundreds of accounts so they can go into their own thread, forge replies, and then somehow hack into the system so it looked like people actually cared about the thread or what they posted? The prediction means nothing. 911 was coincidental and probably referred to the date he published it. And Washington was way off mark!

I know enough to reconize one. Loud abusive, with no real teaching. What this world does not need is more catastrophies but repentance. God will raise up a prophet speaking repentance first and only after there is no repentance will God bring catastrophy. Some one who is a real prophet would not have such abusive and rude followers. A prophet would certainly not require payment to recieve his prophesies.

It's possible. People can spoof email etc. The archive could have been corrupted by hackers etc. I looked back on it and it's not the only message about this but I don't believe anything without questioning it.

I personally think the best way to approach Sollog (I believe you are attempting to determine if he is a true prophet or false prophet--ie, if he can truly see the future) is to go through his past prophecies, analyze them, research them, etc... And, also be aware of his pending prophecies

You will also have to seek yourself to find explanation about the event and how some have a prophetic hit.
