What's on your iPod?

So, I've started seeing someone.
Good for you! Just remember that every relationship is unique; there's no formula. The only standard is that you treat each other with respect, kindness and honesty, and when you're alone and reviewing the relationship, you find it satisfying. Of course any endeavor has its share of doubts, but they should not overwhelm and preoccupy you.

There have been couples who put mats down in their living room and padding on the walls and spend the evening tossing each other around in martial arts practice... then walk hand-in-hand into the bedroom, exhausted and laughing. (Actually I hope they stop in the shower first. ;))

It's been said, not entirely in jest, that an affair of the heart is a success when each person is delighted to contribute more than half the effort while receiving less than half the benefits.

Thank you for this. :) Interestingly, he's been a friend for a time so some trust has been built.

I'm just going to enjoy the moment(s) for now.
Have a good weekend, Fraggle!

PS: It's been a while since you posted a song in here; just sayin.' What's on YOUR iPod these days, hmmm?
;)

I like your taste in music, Bebelina. It's often fun and fresh.

These are pretty old, late 80's or early 90's I guess, but I recently discovered them, and got a bit stuck by the retrofeeling.
Ow, now I noticed it said 2008 at the end of the video-o..

I like Ciara...

God created sex, but religion teaches that it's dirty.
Ciara is known for her sexy lyrics and style...most of her songs have that...edge to them.
It is hard to think of someone who'd be a better teacher. Where does one go for such sexy lessons?
Have you got more of those on your Ipod?

A friend just turned me on to several interesting offbeat CDs.
  • "Ocean: Songs for the Night Sea Journey" by Jennifer Cutting and the Ocean Orchestra. Nice moody music with ethereal female voices.
  • "Propensity for Joy" by Al Parrish. A funny man who is a great songwriter, singer and bass fiddler. My favorite song is "Potential," the tag line being, "Men fall in love with women, women fall in love with potential." As a bassist I love the song, "The Day the Bass Players Took over the World."
  • Josh Turner, a young contemporary singer whose sound transports me back to 1958 when I first discovered country music. Coming from a family in which it was forbidden to express emotion, those early songs about longing, betrayal, anger and lust helped me learn to be human. On the opening track, "Long Black Train," a warning about a fate we should all avoid, he could be Buck, Faron, or (dare I say it) Hank.
No, I haven't abandoned contemporary rock'n'roll. I've also got "The Unforgiving" by Dutch art-metal band Within Temptation in the stack.

The song, ''Potential,'' haha...that sounds interesting. ''Men fall in love with women, women fall in love with potential.''
Oh my, there might be no denying that. :p

sometimes, it's nice to light some candles, have a glass of wine, and sink into a deep bubble bath...with some mellow music.

I like that, good combination of video and music. Too many good songs are ruined by a bad video,
