This is off topic I suppose but I was just thinking the other day that very few inventions are "inventions". Just about everything we have invented occurs in nature in some way.
But nothing captures and keeps footage of reality, thats why I say video cameras.

I've heard this before, and it never rings true to me. The first 'wheel' was probably just round stone of about the right size, and though of when they saw boulder/rock 'wheels' rolling down a cliff.
