Thanks for the link, you are right, I need to see the bigger picture. But nevertheless, lets compare my point to: In the face of the potential disintegration of our culture, let all Afrikaans speaking South Africans create a new homeland in the Netherlands. After all we are decended from the Dutch, and we share a religion. (NGK)
I also believe the burrow runs a bit deeper than simple British Imperialism. The establishment of Israel was essentially post Imperialism. Israel backed and funded by the west, enabled and continues to enable a strong Western voice in the Middle East.
