No, nothing more than some old movies that may or may not have been based on a true story or actual events, although a lot of writers take experiences from their own lives as a source of their material and is often a sign of a good writer that can make a realistic story with characters that would actually act the same way the would be expected to in real life.
It could be impossible to prove because then you would have to create a situation where a women wants to have sex and then the man says no they don't want to. It could remain a true mystery for a very long time.
Right, that happens with some frequency. What makes it impossible to demonstrate?

Imo sex depends on a moment. Like right place right time and correct opportunity. Even most married couples don't have sex regularly. Its IMO when the moments right. Like I said right place right time.

No but I think it is a common opinion among people. It could remain a true mystery for a very long time." is just a bad joke. Then I think some women would look too much into this sort of thing and then form generalizations that are not true. I don't think it is one of those kinds of jokes that is funny because it is true, but more of a sense of desperation caused by women commonly rejecting men. I just think it is a source that acts as a reason why women would then want to reject men. Then that comes from it being common place that men are rejected not necessarily because all men will just sleep with anybody and not want to be in a relationship.
But I think every thing I have said has been self consistent in that a lot of women do not find men attractive that show any signs of not being sexually active with women, kind of like how in wild life the females will only offer themselves to the alpha male, it has only been clouded by other sociological issues. Although I don't think that trying to act like a alpha male or being with a lot of women makes you look any better to them. It is more of an issue of how those differences actually affect men's behavior that does not out right say that but only implies it indirectly.
If science was able to find the exact reason why women reject men I don't think anybody would be single. The notion that is something that has been discovered and found to be scientific truth just seems a bit absurd.

this sounds more idealogical than biological. Sex ultimately depends on arousal, which depends on the right conditions being met: pheromone exchanges, physical attractiveness, and in some cases, lack of better judgment. I can't say that I wait until the "time is right" to have sex. If my biology demands it, whether i am in a bar bathroom or the back seat of a car; with a girl I know or a perfect stranger, I oblige. I think a lot of people do.

Spoken like a true man. Women are quite capable of performing without being aroused, certainly without being aroused more than a tiny bit so it's at least not painful. This is why women can use sex as a bargaining tool, weapon, etc. That's very difficult for a man to do, although more difficult for some than for others.
This certainly makes it more pleasant for them, but it's not 100% necessary. How many times has your own wife/girlfriend done it with you just to make you happy, when she would have rather been just about anywhere else? Perhaps she's a good actress and you didn't figure it out, or maybe you just weren't paying attention.
No. Just men. There are a few women out there who feel that way, but they're in high demand and you and I will probably never get to meet one.
Besides, that phenomenon usually occurs in their 30s, when most women reach their sexual peak. They're looking for young studs. So it depends on how old you are. I'm way past that age.

Fraggle Rocker, you're starting to sound like a sexist with an inferiority complex. Are you suggesting that it's the role of a woman to do it with you just to make you happy? Is that why you assume that it's a common experience for everyone? Also, have you never had sex being tired and sore, wanting to sleep, because your mate wanted it? I sure have. Not that I'd rather be anywhere else, or I would've been. That doesn't make the act itself any less taxing on my aching back. If she'd rather be anywhere else she should; anything less is just dishonest.
This is what made me respond, because my experiences have shown something much different than this. When a young woman is aroused, passion and desire override every other thought. Think about the first time a woman has sex. Have you ever noticed that they go through like a 2 month period of 'what the fuck is up with her?' I can state that plainly, with nothing to qualify it(actually, I stated my experience), as you did. Women have needs just like men. Women are vastly different from each other just like men. Go ask your wife. I have a hard time believing that you don't already know that. Maybe the women from your generation were just more old-fashioned. I mean, you grew up at a time when women were supposed to be ashamed of their sexuality, no?
Having sex with a stranger has never appealed to me. I've come real close a few times while heavily intoxicated. But, something about the ease of it made me wonder what kind a girl would sleep with a complete stranger. I have a distaste for promiscuous women, because I've never been a promiscuous guy. I don't care how hot she is, if she's slutty its a huge turn off for me.
She may be of the Sapphic persuasion.....
